Recently returned from Crystal Waterworld. I've been reading reviews of this hotel all summer with horror. Perhaps that is why all his shortcomings were quite expected. In 2011-2012, we rested at the Crystal Palace in Side, so we compared it with it. Traveled with my husband and 19 year old son. When you check in, they gave you a room in the first building on the first floor, the farthest one (near the water park). We asked to be closer to the sea, we were immediately met (for free). Checked into room 3318 - opposite the spa center, the middle. View from the balcony to the main pool and terrace bar. The room, of course, without flaws, new, clean. The shower room is excellent - a high side, a good door. Cleaned daily, sometimes they wiped the mirrors, every day they brought toilet paper (6 rolls were collected by the time of departure)))), shower gel and soap were added. The bed was changed every other day. Drinks - daily. In the dining room (I can’t call it a restaurant after Crystal Palace) I would like to note the breakfasts - there are still few people at 8 in the morning, the choice of dishes is quite large. Lunches are held in several restaurants, so there were no crowds either. . Once they gave strawberries (delicious! ), Ripe melons, not very watermelons, peaches, nectarines, figs, plums, pears, apples, oranges. The waiters did not bring any drinks, we ourselves went to the bar in turn. We came for dinner at the opening - after half an hour it was already difficult to find a clean table. A narrow hall, a sea of children with full plates, a sea of strollers is annoying. The food is of high quality, but without frills - no decorations, no beautiful dishes. We are lucky - on September 30, Victory Day is celebrated in Turkey. We saw for dinner a whole baked trout, and sushi, and even the wine that day was decent. The water park is chic - for parents with children, this will outweigh many other shortcomings. The slides were wonderful, the cheesecakes were free. There are plenty of sun loungers on the sea, but the entrance to the sea is very unpleasant. Stones plus a high step - in a storm they went out only along the pier. Almost immediately deep, because of this, a congestion of people near the shore. For animation, you need to take a table immediately after dinner. Drinks, of course, were taken at the bar themselves (having stood in line). Speaking of cocktails, there was a decent one only in the lobby (pigeon). They don’t know how to make Mojito (or don’t want to), the husband rated whiskey at 3-. I liked the Chinese restaurant - silence, good fast service, quite tasty. SPA center is weak. The salt room in general caused bewilderment. In general, I can recommend the hotel to parents with children who like slides, french fries, chicken nuggets and ice cream. You'll like it! For the rest, I advise you to look for another hotel.
