Hello. I want to tell you a little about my trip to a colorful and picturesque town called Oludeniz. In this story, you will not find any historical facts or sightseeing stories, but only brief instructions on how to save money and where I have been. So, let's begin. (20.09. 2017)

1) Upon arrival in Dalaman, the first thing: do not rush to buy water at the airport or at the exit from the airport. They charge prices for a bottle of water 0.5 = $2. If you booked a tour with an operator, I HIGHLY recommend asking a tour guide who will meet you at your transfer (bus). I used the services of the tour operator AnexTour and the guide said that you can buy 2 bottles of 0.5 water for 1 dollar from the driver (yes, it's expensive, but it's better than $ 2 for 0.5).

2) I stayed at the Liberty Oludeniz (4*) hotel. It stands on the main street, it takes literally 8 minutes to walk to the sea at a measured pace. In the same place (on the main street) there are 2 stores AZDA and LIDL. Prices are slightly lower at AZDA, but you can also buy groceries at LIDL.

And by the way, there is a girl at the reception at the hotel, her name is Christina. Just a douche! J Helped many times with all questions and nuances (generally everyone). Special thanks to her for this!

3) Do not rush to buy souvenirs, gifts, things in Oludeniz itself. Better pluck up your courage and visit Fethie. Fethie is a city not far from Oludeniz, it takes 30 minutes to drive, the fare is 5.50 liras per person. Drive from end to end. Boarding the minibus back is in the same place as the final one.

On the recommendation of Christina, interesting places in Fethie:

  • Fish market. (36.621032, 29.111078) - coordinates on the map. A very colorful place, locals and tourists buy fish. There are restaurants nearby, they cook there for 6-8 lira per person.
  • Alesta Hotel (restaurant with a view). It is actually located on the roof on the 5th floor, but for the Turks all floors start from 0, so that in the elevator you will find the last button “4” J
  • It's very beautiful and picturesque. Upon arrival and seating at a table, the staff will immediately ask about the menu (food / drinks only), as many people come there to enjoy the views and order only cocktails. I liked the drink "Ayran", but this is not for everyone).

  • Café Park Teras (restaurant with a view). Just like Alesta is on the roof of the house. We went there, but there was a renovation and because of this we could not sit. But the views are also very beautiful on the terrace.
  • Ö zsü t (confectionery). We were full and decided not to go in, as the market was full of fish and shrimp from the belly. J
  • 4) A very important fact, when I went to Oludeniz, I did not know about paragliding.

We arrived in Oludeniz before checking into the hotel (arrived at 11:00, check-in at 14:00). Without hesitation for a long time, we went to the municipal beach with backpacks and bedding to contemplate the resting place. On the way to the beach, I somehow couldn’t raise my head to the sky, we looked at the shops and cafes on the main street, and then we went to the beach and froze with our mouths open. Dozens of wonderful parachutes landed and hovered over the sea and the city. For the first few hours we lay in the shade, enjoying the views and these brave guys, but it was impossible to say that I immediately wanted to try it.

For 5 days of observation, we got acquainted with all the companies that offered Paragliding tours. Prices ranged from $120 to $70. Don't be fooled, prices vary only because of dumping. "Old men" in the market are simply trying to make money due to beautiful advertising. Russian was spoken only by 2 people in excursion companies. Trust was built in the first 5 minutes of the conversation. Separately, he was pulled with all sorts of questions about Fethie and life in Turkey. The price was reduced for two to $65 (from $70 starting) and the transfer was by car (Ford Cady), not by bus (Mercedes Sprinter), as was the case in most companies. The instructor-pilots are very experienced, took off very easily and without problems. Although not many succeeded while we were standing on the launch pad. Filming is allowed, but I didn’t have a camera with me, so we filmed pilots on cameras. Filming costs $30, well, or as agreed with the pilot. At first, we thought that we would only buy photos and videos of the girl, but after the experience, my inner goon decided not to save on such impressions. Burned it to disk and sent another copy to my phone. You can see what happened here:

    5) Blue Lagoon. Reserved place in Oludeniz. Entrance costs 7 liras per person. It is worth going once to have a look and swim in the water of a slightly different color : ). There is also a place where sea snakes lie at the bottom, I wanted to snorkel and watch, but alas, there was no opportunity. But many guys swam and admired the wonderful creatures at the bottom.

In general, everything. Now there are few Russian-speaking Turks in Oludeniz, but the resort is gaining popularity and next year they will recruit staff with communication skills for our people. I will definitely return there for beautiful views and chic impressions.

    P. S. It is better to exchange money in Fethie, where the exchange rate is more profitable. At the time of arrival, the exchange rate was $1 = 3.34? (hotel), $1 = 3.5? (city)
