Excursion to the mysterious Hierapolis
I want to tell you today about the ancient city of Turkey - Hierapolis, or Hierapolis. He made the most vivid impression on my daughter and me.
We had a large-scale tour of the sights and various historical places in Turkey. And we both liked the old Hierapolis the most. The daughter called it the ruins of antiquity.
To get to the town, to the Cleopatra baths and to visit the Pamukkale tourist area itself, you need to buy tickets at the entrance. Price within 40 euros.
We were lucky with the team, we somehow got a very friendly staff and, moreover, creative. We had an opera singer with us, who played a whole performance when we were on the territory of the ancient theater. She went to the center and began to sing! Can you imagine? ! It was unexpected and beautiful.
It's spectacular, of course, but you have to be careful. Lots of slopes and ravines. We were careful, because, probably, we immediately somehow felt at ease. If you don’t like such antiquities, then try to find something beautiful anyway, listen to the guide’s stories, because history in such places is the main thing! I like to observe objects of culture and history, but here it’s just history in its purest form and absolutely special beauty, touched by time.
In such a place, among all these ruins, one really wants to linger and not rush anywhere.
This city is simply filled with the spirit of antiquity and majestic antiquity. Be sure to bring sunscreen, glasses, a hat, and something to throw over your shoulders so you don't get burned. Of course, we were warned about everything, but there are always those who neglect.
In the next review, I will try to describe the prices and warn against unnecessary purchases on the way (we had a lot of them). But for now, I can definitely say that you can’t visit Turkey and not visit this excursion. This is a real rest for the soul and a payload for the body)
