Journey of a bore - a grumbler to Turkey

Tired of listening to the incoherent muttering of tourists vacationing in Turkey. None of their stories are clear. And I decided to go there myself.

Ufa. First floor. Entrance through the frame and x-ray luggage. Luggage check-in. Second floor. Three windows of customs and immediately the removal of shoes, belts. Frame. Waiting room. Some kind of Duty Free shop. Expensive (spirits, whiskey, vodka, souvenirs, etc. ). Another buffet: 50 grams of vodka - 100 rubles and a sandwich with caviar. Feel better.

Landing. We passed the corrugated corridor to the TU-204 aircraft of some "Red Wings" airline, and the crew was Russian. The commander spoke on the radio and, among other things, stated: the estimated travel time is 3 hours 50 minutes (actually 4 hours 10 minutes); security briefing. And that's it. Acceleration, takeoff with a candle. You can't hear the engines, just the whine of the fans. The plane surprised me. Without a doubt, he is the best after the AN-24, IL-18, TU-134, TU-154, Yak-42, which I flew. Fed hot, salads and soft drinks. You can live. Turkish lunch packaging. And where are the Russian producers?

Approximately 3 hours later in the porthole the sea and the shore. We're finally flying. Ah, no, the flight continues. Dry again. What was it? Argued with neighbors: where are we flying? To the Mediterranean? So it was Black? We have slowed down and are almost planning. We fly parallel to the coast. For some reason, I did not see awnings and sunbeds on the shore. We're landing. There is a touch, braking and suddenly... ovations... (to the crew or to Allah? ) Wow! This was not the case in our time.

We are waiting for the ladder. I observe from the porthole the airport, dull, scorched landscape. Where is the promised beauty? We leave the plane. It's hot. I ran to the airport bus - a caterpillar with air conditioning. Brought to the airport. Come in. In the huge terminal, 8 queues lined up at the customs windows. The queues are about 50 meters long, where there are at least six circular conveyors. For a while I was overwhelmed by the scale of what was happening. There were no directional arrows, but this did not affect the pace of the movement of the crowd (for many, not for the first time).

Information desk. Young, pretty Turkish woman and Turk. Pulled up, in ties. It caught my eye: an impeccable haircut and shave from a Turk. This is the second pair of Turks that I saw live for the first time in my life. (The first pair is in the customs window, but I didn’t really see them).

- Where is my carrier? Politely, in good Russian, they indicated: 204. Having received the luggage, the crowd runs out of the hall into the street, where tables lined up under awnings (at least 20) of Pegas Touristik, Teztur, Anex Tur, etc. offices. , where we were fixed and directed to the appropriate bus (by number). Buses - 100! All white, large and small. Lined up in a row. Naturally - all with air conditioning. Attentive, smiling Turks - drivers (35-45 years old), in white shirts and ties and, of course, with a neat haircut and shave - some kind of fetish. Does it really happen? ! And where is the rudeness to which we are accustomed: where are you going?

The bus was full. A young, charming, Russian guide came in - an escort to the hotels. I began to realize that I was in the global tourism pipeline system in Turkey, which includes: reception, accommodation, service, excursions, sending home. A system where everything is thought out, a car with almost no failures. The concept of "human factor" for service personnel, mostly male, is missing. The Turks are not verbose, correct and, it seemed to me, somewhat wary. Apparently, the experience of communicating with Russian tourists affected. I have not met a drunk, untidy, etc. Turk. I think they are not in the resort area. I compare it with the lack of culture of the coastal contingent of our Adler, Gelendzhik. And how will the 2014 Olympics be held there?

However, I digress and ran ahead. We drove for about one and a half - two hours (Antalya, Kemer, Kirish).

Antalya. Multi-storey beautiful houses with balconies and loggias. There are solar panels on the roofs and original silver barrels with a piping system. Lots of construction. The city ended and the serpentine began with the impeccable condition of the roadway, markings. We drive along the seashore. To the right are mountain slopes with and without vegetation.

The resort Kemer begins. Exotic! Palm trees and all that. Shopping malls - boutiques. The hotels themselves are poorly visible because of the fence. After Kemer - Kirish, like an appendix. The end of the direction is good.

Well hello Diamond Garden Hotel! Hello, reseption (administrators) Zuhrab and Arif. Now I am in your hands. The hotel is a fenced area, including several two - three-story hotel-type buildings with air-conditioned rooms, several swimming pools, one with slides, a summer dining room with a buffet, a stage with disco equipment, a separate bar, a volleyball court, billiard tables, beautiful green, as it is now fashionable to say, landscape design. I almost forgot, there is also a Turkish bath. The hotel is not located on the coastline, but the walk to the sea 300-400 meters through the mall is not tiring.

So. Instruction from administrators Zuhrab and Arif, who speak excellent Russian, I suspect other languages as well. The keys to the room and the rest began with lunch in the dining room. What is not on the buffet? There is not much in our usual diet. Few meat products and almost no fruit. But vegetable dishes are widely represented, as well as cheese, honey, jam, nuts, drinks. No one had any complaints about food. Then to the sea. Boutiques along the way. The vendors called. They become attached almost like our Azerbaijanis in the bazaar, especially to newcomers. The beach is a bit crowded for off-shore hotels, but it's not annoying, at least not boring. Sunbeds are free. For those who wish, all kinds of paid water attractions are offered. The sea water is clean. The color of the water in the future is bluer - turquoise than on the Black Sea, and the water tastes much saltier. After the sea, a short rest in the room, where there is a TV with a Russian-speaking channel, including. Then a trip to the bar. Good draft light beer to choose from. or gin - tonic, as well as 5-6 types of soft drinks. You can swim in the pool and lie under an awning on a lounger, or visit a Turkish bath. And you can watch the manipulations of a virtuoso - a cook with an aquiline nose, in a black bandana, well, a pure corsair who baked products such as pita bread in an outdoor oven. A line formed for the products, everyone patiently waited. I myself expected. Delicious! Too bad I didn't take a photo of it.

Dinner on schedule. In the evening - to a disco, where animators (massive entertainers) entertain children first, and then adults. Well, if you make friends with compatriots at the disco, it will be more fun. Vacationers, like us, Turks and Turkish women do not participate in dances, they drink beer and watch the Russians come off.

About kids. Children, surprisingly, normally withstand 40-degree heat. They rage for hours in the pool with water slides, bringing a cheerful touch to the general atmosphere of relaxation.

About excursions. Without them, the rest will be incomplete. It is necessary to dedicate at least one day for a sightseeing trip. I liked the trip to Demre - Mira - Kekovo. I saw and heard a lot of interesting things, although I thought that I would no longer be surprised. The trip was well organised. No delays, no waiting, etc. From whom you will buy a ticket for the tour, from the administrator or at the bureau on the street, it's up to you. You can go to Kemer. Although there are many souvenir boutiques in Kirishi, there are more of them in Kemer. Definitely a bargain. Accounts in dollars.

Time flew by quickly. It's time to leave. The time of my departure has been fixed. The bus came and took me and a few other people. Before that, I ran around the hotel and said goodbye to my fellow compatriots, to the Turkish staff: animator, foreman of waiters, reseption Zuhrab. One should have seen how the expression on the faces of the Turks changed from polite restraint to benevolent, friendly and, of course, a firm handshake. They did not expect! Yes, Russians are stingy with praise. I digress again. The bus picked up people like me from other hotels along the way. The evening twilight descended quickly. On the right are the lanterns of coastal cafes, on the left are the lights of a city that cannot be compared with any other. Great highway. Airport coming soon. The voice of the accompanying Turk Timran. Everyone thought about their own.

That's the end of the tour. Goodbye Kiris, Kemer, Antalya, Turkey.
