Demre-Mira-Kekova
We went on this excursion last September with my husband and a child of 4 years old. The child endured the road normally, if you go with children, then you need to take care of toys, entertainment and sweets on the road and there will be no problems.
I must say right away that, like any excursions in Turkey, you will not do without obligatory visits to shops, shops... But I will not stop there...
The road in the bus is not tiring, although many were sleeping. Seascapes flash through the windows, and the guide talks about the ancient state of Lycia, the city of Myra and the island of Kekova. You will hear a lot of interesting things about St. Nicholas, who was the first bishop of Myra. When he died, his buried in a sarcophagus, for the protection of which the church was built. Later, Italian merchants stole his remains and took him to their homeland, to the city of Bari, where the relics of St. Nicholas are now.
