We rested the last days of August-the first days of September. In general, I liked it very much. The area is unrealistically beautiful, these mountains, bays, cottages, coniferous plantings. The hotel is visually modest. You can’t take a lot of photos there, well, except for a beautiful alley with an arch of flowers. But otherwise very comfortable. The rooms are clean, white, not cramped. The three of us - places with a head. Cleaning every day. Sometimes they forgot to put a toilet or a towel of some kind. But the cart with these things was on the corridor - they took it themselves.

By tradition - at first we were settled in the worst room - in the building directly above the dining room. The room there is of course cool inside, but outside - tin. The window overlooks a common balcony, a view of the road and the cemetery, and most importantly - the noise. The air conditioner is noisy from the restaurant, and the exhaust hood from the kitchen just yells, and since the building is close to the pool, the music plays from morning to 11 pm.

We were with a sick, feverish child and immediately asked the guy at the reception to change the room to a quieter one, so that the child could sleep at least a couple of hours after arrival. Surprisingly, without money, we were moved to a quiet building at the very beginning of the hotel, and from that moment it was already a wonderful holiday (not counting mosquitoes. I had to buy a fumigator and lotion in the migros). Child on the trail. day was on his feet, and a day later he had already begun to swim - here it is the sea air in action.

So, about the hotel:

1) It is located an hour from the center of Bodrum, 15 minutes from the center of Turgurtreis, and 10 minutes from the center of Akyarlar. Minibuses (dolmus) run every 20-30 minutes in both directions. To Turgurtreis - 4 liras ($1) To Bodrum - 7 liras ($2). Despite the fact that in the supermarket Migros is changed at the rate of 5.8 lira for 1 dollar. That is, it is better to pay for travel in lira. Local traders change - 1:5. To the ferry on about. Kos (Greece) - 10 minutes in Turgurtreis (stop - D-Marin).
At night, from the beach, a stunning view of the lights of Greece across the strait and Turkish cottages in the mountains.

To the sea from the hotel - about 150-200m. Between the hotel and the sea is another unfinished hotel. The beach is sandy and clean. At the entrance to the sea 1-2 meters of stones, it is not very convenient to go out, but the legs are not prickly and not slippery. Although the sea was 26 degrees, it seemed cool in the first 2 days, then they got used to it. When there are no waves, it is perfectly transparent, the bottom is clearly visible near the buoys, even when you are swimming. Sooooo salty. Skin pulls when dry.

Most of the sun loungers and umbrellas are aluminum with fabric. Very cool and comfortable in the last rows are burlap umbrellas and plastic sunbeds with mattresses. The first line of sunbeds is occupied at 7 am. And as usual, they may not appear there until lunch, or even all day. If you come at 9-10 in the morning, you will run all over the beach looking for sunbeds and an umbrella. And there is only in the last rows - plastic. The same theme at the pool.

2) The contingent of vacationers.

50-70% Turks. At first, upon arrival, we tensed up - for the first time we rest with so many locals. But then, on the contrary, they were even very happy - very pleasant and polite people. What can not be said about other nationalities. Especially the Czechs. This is the second time I have come across them on vacation - Russians and Ukrainians are on vacation. Insolent, loud, boozy, ill-mannered children and always screaming. The men are kind of aggressive. If you are accidentally hooked somewhere by a Turkish vacationer, he will apologize - and in English. And if the Czech - then he also swears in your direction in his own way. I was a little shocked by them.
The rest are all the peoples of Europe. About a dozen Russians, a couple of dozen Ukrainians. And one plane brought us 12 people. Poles, Scandinavians, Germans, Dutch, etc. What bothered me the most was how much they smoked. And the Turks, and especially the Europeans. Everywhere. On the beach, on the balconies, in the restaurant, everywhere.

3) The staff is very polite, like bees huddle. Almost no one knows Russian.
But every second knows a little English. The animation is unobtrusive, but you will not be bored. The black animator is just handsome. Actor, dancer, merry fellow - an unrealistically positive dude. Sabrina - children's animator, smart girl. Although she does not speak our language, my little one was delighted. Thanks to her, I learned many new English words and expressions.

The waiters are very polite. When we just arrived and were waiting for check-in, we decided to go look around and maybe have something to eat. It was the beginning of 12 noon and breakfast had already ended, so they just saw us and immediately sat us down at the table, brought water, juice, sandwiches, scrambled eggs, fruits, vegetables to our son. They swarm around us in a crowd. It was very nice.

4) Food is good. Of course, there were no shrimp, freshly squeezed juices and salmon. But for the money it's just great.
for breakfast 4 types of cereal with milk, eggs, vegetables, pasta, potatoes, fruits, watermelon, croutons, a lot of jams and sweet toppings, tea, coffee in unlimited quantities, I didn’t drink alcohol, juices - not yupi, but also natural ones very similar, probably diluted juices or juice-containing drinks (in Europe there are many of these in markets). For lunch and dinner there is always a lot of meat, grilled meat and vegetables, fish was 4 times a week. Everything is very delicious.

I have not tried their local salads - visually dumb, but the Turks themselves rowed with a bang. Once there was ice cream, a bunch of different types. Sweets are standard. Apples, Plums, nectarines, oranges, bombed watermelon and melon, sultanas. New portions were brought out all the time. There was almost always enough for everyone. Despite the fact that the hotel was packed with people to the eyeballs. When leaving, they gave a lunchbox - but we left it, because there was inedible sausage and very salty cheese. we had brought fruit and rolls with us in advance and made sandwiches.
Separately, I want to unsubscribe about the flight. Three of us flew: me, my wife and a six-year-old child who had a fever. How did we oh... whether in Boryspil, when we were denied registration in neighboring places. They said that the computer decides everything and in general they have no information that the third passenger is a 6 year old child. Well, the fact that he has a temperature is a pity, well, ask to change on the plane already. Thanks to the people who gave us their seats. But the joke is that back from Bodrum, I asked the girl to give places nearby, to which we received the answer: - Ok. No problem!

It turns out that in Ukraine they are even trying to raise money on such things, so that people order online places and pay 4 euros for each ????

We flew with UIA. The planes are very cool, new, spacious. Landing and takeoff are the best I've ever flown.

well, that seems to be it. Sorry for the big text
