My husband and I rested at the Bodrum Bay Hotel 5 * so many impressions that it is simply unrealistic to describe everything and convey these emotions.
Unfortunately, all these emotions turned out to be negative. I will not talk about the good things that happened, since the city itself, nature and color impressed and liked us, but we will talk exclusively about the hotel, staff and attitude towards tourists. I'll try to be brief and to the point, but this review won't be short.
We rested in the period from 14.07 to 21.07. 18. Initially upset when they saw the number.

The photos provided by ANEX TOUR do not correspond to reality. The information that the renovation was in 2018 is partially true. Of the 200 rooms in the hotel, only 8 are renovated, for which you need to pay extra 10 Euros per day. All other rooms are in poor condition. Since we wanted a better room, we paid $ 49 extra and settled in the deluxe rooms on the first line, which are considered the best rooms, the sea is 2 steps away, everything is nearby.
But when we settled in, we found that the door was broken and did not hold the lock well, there were other people's hair on the pillows, the towels were all stained. The closet in the room was all broken and falling apart, the air conditioner was wrapped with black electrical tape so that the components would not fall off, we will miss the fact that there was a lot of drinking in it. It did not cool, and the room was always hot. There was a hole in the ceiling near the entrance, the cornice with curtains was all rusty, the refrigerator heated more than cooled something.
The bathroom is a different story. The mirror was dirty, the faucet in the washbasin was full of fungus. There is no ventilation when you wash in the shower, then there is nothing to breathe in the room, since the air conditioner does not cool either. There are holes in the shower near the faucet, black fungus is everywhere, a lot of water collects and flows out of the shower cabin, the floor is all wet. Near the toilet where there is a brush in general, seedlings of black and any kind of fungus. Also, the rooms are full of cockroaches and centipedes drop in, not everyone is ready for such cohabitants. For all the time removed 2 times and very bad. And 3 times just folded dirty towels. Near the pool, all the grates are also with black fungus. All the mattresses on the sun loungers are dirty and stained, the same on the beach. Got stuck in the elevator 3 times.

Before the last day, coming from the beach at 16:00, we found that the room had been cleaned, along with our money. $600 and UAH 1000 were taken out of personal belongings.

Rushed to the reception, called the manager. He was absent. The staff began to hide and pretend that they did not understand anything, everyone abruptly forgot Russian and English, they said that in principle there was no manager in the hotel. When asked to call the police, they ignored us, pretended to be called, but did not call us. On our own, we got through on the phone and from the 2nd time they hardly called them. Nobody knows the language or very poorly. While we were waiting for the police, we learned from people that 3 days before our incident, $ 300 was stolen from people (the police took fingerprints and accepted the statement), and before our arrival, $ 800 was stolen from the Germans
It also turned out that $ 600 was stolen from our neighbor's safe, gold earrings and a bracelet, and 5.000 rubles were stolen from another neighbor.
The police arrived, Google translator was to help us. The hotel staff made no attempt at all to help sort out the situation. Since I personally saw the woman cleaning the room, they repeatedly refused to call her. The police did not want to check the staff. Surveillance cameras were abruptly not working. (Later, we ourselves found the person who cleaned the rooms with this woman, and he confirmed that she asked him to leave and stayed in the room longer than the allotted time and we also know her name) No one wanted to take this information into account and check everything in hot pursuit.
Our guide took us to the police station, with us there were 2 more guys from another hotel who also had their money stolen. The police began to stupidly laugh at us, obviously they have a lot of people like us. Also, the Guide from Anex Tour left us, saying that an interpreter would arrive in half an hour and left. We sat there for 2 hours after which we were told that there would be no interpreter, they could not find him. The police refused to accept the statement, we communicated through Google, they deliberately pretended not to understand. They said that we would prove that we had $600
They did not react to the phrase that we have 4 witnesses and said that they were not engaged in money theft, and sent us to the consulate.
We drove an hour to the hotel without achieving anything. On day 2 it was the same. Everyone froze and hid.
I was especially surprised by the guide from the anex, they didn’t help to call the police, they didn’t help even elementarily in communicating with the staff. Not to mention the fact that they left us at the station until the arrival of an interpreter who was not even looked for. It turned out that the Guide does not know either Turkish or English. And they don't have to help at all.

The manager, who nevertheless showed up, did not offer the slightest compensation even in the form of a cup of coffee, no matter how ridiculous it may sound. All he offered was to use a safe for free (they have 2 euros / day) from which the staff, past the cashier, offers guests a master key, for 5 euros for the entire stay. A very strange proposal for people who have stolen all the money. Also, the safe is not fixed in any way, take it under your arm and take it out wherever you want.
All hotel staff are aware of the theft, there are a huge number of complaints. They just steal in the last days of rest, and no one has time to decide and achieve anything. And when you get home, you don't have to prove anything.

The consulate did not pick up the phone 3 times. Anex tour deceives tourists because they know about this problem in the hotel, anex also has a lot of complaints about this. The hotel does not match what is on the website. There, even local people who came to relax constantly complained about the reception about the quality of the rooms and the discrepancy between photos and reality.
