A week ago we returned from a holiday at the hotel (late July - early August 2021). I share my latest experiences.
1. We went for the first time through the tour operator Alliance. I read not the most pleasant reviews - I want to refute - everything is ok with them, no worse and no better than with other tour operators.
2. We arrived early, Pegasus flew - everything was on schedule, but I had never flown in such uncomfortable planes with tightly packed seats one after another - literally not everyone's knees could fit. Back was a little better. The transfer was on a mini-bus after another 2 hotels, we arrived in an hour. We checked in at the hotel, they didn’t give the room right away (we arrived at 9 am), they asked us to immediately extend the room until the end of the day (we had a late flight). They said it's unlikely, but come on the day of departure. We went for breakfast.
3. About the hotel.

I really confirm a lot with previous reviews: the whole hotel is on the descents and ascents, i. e. I would not recommend this hotel to go with strollers, elderly people or people with poor health - it will be hard.
It is better to stay in the main building (we were there) or else I liked the location of Anex Room, but they were closed, as I understood.
Number. At 2 pm we came to the reception and they gave us 2 rooms (we were with friends) with a sea view - very spacious, fresh, everything worked, white towels, everything is ok. The only thing I missed in the room was that there were no amenities in the form of shampoos, nail files, hats - nothing at all, 1 detergent dispenser near the washbasin and 1 dispenser near the bathroom.
Beach. Long, several short piers with ladders and one part with a sand entry. Everything is ok here, except for biting flies (just like ours at the end of August).
Sea. It is chic, clean, rich in color, there are fish, hedgehogs. The water is cooler than in Antalya and there is a big difference between air (40-43°C in shade) and water - 25-26°C. When you come in, it's cold, but it's very comfortable to swim for a long time - you don't freeze.
I was also surprised that the air is very dry and hot (humidity is higher in Antalya).
Food. The food was delicious, there was a lot of tasty and well-cooked meat, vegetables, fish, a sufficient variety of fruits and sweets. There was not enough seafood - I got them a couple of times in salads and that's it. Another annoying thing was warm liquor, apart from beer, in the main restaurant. Everyone offered to serve with ice. There was not enough ice cream - it was given from 15 to 17 in several places, as I understood. Once we came for him - lay on the bar in cardboard boxes 3 types of ice cream in packs pretty melted. His pleasure in eating like this was doubtful. We didn't follow him anymore.
I was also personally annoyed by the fact that everyone tried to pour, pour into disposable dishes, although you could ask and they would give you the same in ceramics.
Meeting with the guide.

Although we were traveling from the Alliance, Compass met us and accompanied us on vacation - probably this is one office. The service is unobtrusive, no one actively inclines you to anything, but it doesn’t help either (I asked for a late check-out). Tours are more expensive than online. We once went on a yacht through the bays half the price of Compass - not wow, but everything is decent. They didn't venture anywhere else because of the heat and fires.
Separately, I want to talk about fires. They were before us - we were shown the Titanic Hotel with a burned-out area - and during our stay about 4 km from us. We watched how it was extinguished from the plane from lunch until late in the evening - everything is organized.
Animation. Unobtrusive. We only went to water aerobics (short) and to evening shows - from the invitees of a good level.
4. Conclusions: the hotel is wonderful, not luxury, no frills, but definitely of high quality and above average. The region (I'm in Bodrum for the first time) - not unambiguous impressions: the sea is magnificent, bays with water of different shades, super. The climate is very dry, the air is hot, the mucous membranes are dry. Vegetation and hilliness is also an amateur - Kemer, Marmaris win here. Local, the staff is much calmer, more responsive and pleasant than on the Antalya coast.
Someone wrote in the reviews about the discrimination of the Slavs compared to the Turks - I did not notice this. Of course, when a Turk comes up in line for food, talks to the chef in Turkish, smiles, greets him and we come up - 0 emotions, maximum hello - of course, there is a difference, but this is not due to discrimination. And yes, few people in the hotel know Russian (I got 1 Russian-speaking girl at the reception and 1 apparently in the process of learning the language) and their English is also very specific, i. e. understanding each other is difficult, but not impossible. And we were very surprised that they did extend the number for free, though one of the two - but also good. I don’t know who contributed and whom to thank for this, because. everything turned out unexpectedly, although we asked everyone several times - but no one promised us and wow, on the day of departure they said that we could stay if we wanted.
