We are a couple without children, 32 years old.
Yesterday we arrived from Bodrum. Stayed 7 nights in Acacia.
At first they were dissatisfied - the room was slightly shabby, with visible traces of the crowd of predecessors. But then, having appreciated the proximity of the sea, the friendliness of the staff and the variety of vegetarian dishes, we realized that this is it.
Pros:
1) Stunning sea views from almost anywhere in the hotel.
2) Friendly, friendly staff (waiters - bravo! )
3) Variety of vegetable and light foods
Minuses:
1) Not the hottest sea (22-23 degrees) and air (24-28) (but we must not forget that it is on the Aegean Sea that the Turks escape from the heat)
2) There is no meat in the usual sense of the word - chicken, occasionally fish (for convinced meat-eaters, trouble! )
3) Excursions are tiring with a two-hour gathering of people from all the hotels in Bodrus and Kusadasi (if you are going to Ephesus).

4) Few people in the hotel even know English (for half an hour they knocked out the towel dryer - the receptionist could not understand what we needed).
5) Wi-Fi is expensive - 2 euros per day and rather weak. But it works : -)
A couple of tips for those traveling to Bodrum:
1) Be careful with the sun - in the cool air you burn unnoticed!
2) Less excursions - 1-2 per week, no more! It is incredibly tiring - many hours of rotation along the serpentine of seaside roads, an early rise (in Ephesus - at 5 am already boarding the bus).
We talked with a Russian woman who was waiting for her guide to "feel his face and return the money" - She was so tired of her 3 excursions!
3) Go on a yacht only if you like noisy companies, discos with impromptu striptease and diving from the deck into the sea. Take food with you! Lunch is very, very light - a trace of lettuce, pasta with tomato sauce and five fish cakes the size of the knuckle of the index finger.
