We rested in July 2010. Location: the hotel is located on the outskirts, 3 kilometers along a country road from the Milas-Bodrum highway among a pine forest (on the northern slopes) and Mediterranean shrubs (on the southern slopes). There are no shops and other establishments for serving tourists outside the hotel, respectively. Bodrum is about 25 km away. According to some tourists, minibuses to Bodrum stop every hour near the hotel, but we didn’t see them during our week of stay. Hotel: there are no complaints about the hotel building (except for the plasterboard walls in the annex (inside the central building, where we were accommodated, like all Russian-speaking tourists). Total 5/10. Beach, sea: The hotel is located in the bay. There is no sea as such. The deepening when entering from the shore is made artificially. The bay is with muddy, gray water, the bottom is dirty marsh silt. From the water comes a foul smell of sewage. In order to plunge into the more or less transparent and deep water, you must go along the coast along the road leading through the forest is about 500 meters. But even here the water is dirty, because there is a fish farm nearby, there is a smell of compound feed in the water and some kind of rubber pipes going into the depth. Total 1/10. Food, service: no complaints. Various food, quality and tasty. Drinks, tea, coffee are also in unlimited quantities. Service is also at an excellent level. Total 10/10. We went to Bodrum on an excursion. They ripped off $ 60 per person - they didn’t show anything for this money because in the very the city were no more than 2 hours. However, I really liked the city itself, so I'll have to go again, get to know the city on my own : )
Also, for $ 20 per person, the Chocolate catamaran sails from the hotel every morning, which takes those who wish to the neighboring island, where there is a sandy bottom and perfectly clear water. The problem of this sea trip is that when swimming near the island, you need to constantly monitor the catamaran, because. unlucky Turks can easily forget about tourists who have swum far away and sail back to the hotel, leaving you on a desert island to cuckoo until the morning.
Bottom line: the poor location of the hotel is offset by excellent service and food. Worth your money.
