In Turkey for the first time, we are very glad that we chose Bodrum. A very beautiful corner of Greece in Turkey.
The hotel is very good. The territory is small, but very well-groomed and green.
The hotel has a lot of foreigners and the attitude of the staff is very pleasant, not intrusive and inconspicuous.
The food is just rubbish. We just had breakfast on the beach, grandmother bakes cakes, they make pizza in the oven, then lunch, then gingerbread, then dinner. I love simple food - and it was not difficult for me to find variety: meat + vegetables, fish + vegetables, many different salads - but their vegetables are juicy and tasty - so why do we need a salad... But my husband said that he was tired of eggs for breakfast . Yes, I agree - every morning they can fry eggs or an omelet in front of you... probably get bored... but I sometimes ate muesli for breakfast, sometimes fruits.
In general, they feed more often than in Egypt (5 *), but not so varied

The room we got was average. After 5 * in Egypt there is a difference. But we did not come to sit in the room, but to relax, walk and travel.
There is almost nowhere to walk outside the hotel, only along the coastal strip. That Turgutres and Akualar are far from the hotel, that is, there is no nightlife.
The animation is average - but if we want to entertain ourselves, we know how.
It is very convenient for children in the sea - you walk for a long time and everything is knee-deep.
There, not far from the Lighthouse, you will see there is a quartz beach, I don’t know if it was soaped from the tube - but on the shore and in the water the shiny pebbles are very small like dust - they shine so brightly in the sun - it seems like gold dust.
Excursions: do not take tours to hotels, they are much more expensive, sometimes even 50%.
Go to Bodrum. Minibuses right outside the hotel run very often and cost 5 lira to Bodrum. There, from the Garage (this is the name of the bus station), you go down the street that leads to the fortress of Bodrum (it’s also interesting to go there later) and literally 15-20 meters from the traffic light on the left side ask Olya Direct tour agency. She will tell you everything and give you a map of Bodrum for free. Agency Direct tour As we understand, they have been working for 8-10 years in the tourism market. Our guide said that Olya is standing on this street all the time. And after 20 years you will arrive, her children will stand and after 50 her grandchildren))) In general, do not be afraid - buy vouchers from them 40-50% cheaper than they offer you at the hotel. And they will come to your hotel for you.
On the first two days, be sure to go to the Hamam, this is their Turkish bath. Very nice and helpful.
Shopping: our guide Victoria offered us a leather shop, they came to the hotel and took us. And from tour operators they also take them to shops, but Victoria is something.
You should know both in Egypt and in Turkey they tell you the starting price is 3-4 times more. And then, little by little, they throw it off.

We had a limit of $1100 for the purchase of sheepskin coats for me and my husband. But the prices there are not very low. They say these are new collections and so on, BUT our people buy leather for the price in Turkey. Our collections in Kyiv are new. But Victoria, our guide, I don’t know how, but she simply “begged” local sellers to drop prices. In general, from the initial price of 1200 euros for a men's jacket, we bought it for 500 bucks and 1900 euros for a women's jacket for 650 bucks.
BUT but jersey on Saturday in Turgutress is very cheap. Also on the marshturk 2 lira from the hotel.
