Just got back yesterday. The impressions are fresh and contradictory. First, about the pros - there are few of them.

If you have been on the Antalya coast, then most likely you know about the humid climate. In Bodrum, there is no such thing. Wonderful fresh air, easy to breathe in the evenings. The sea is gorgeous: clean, transparent. The water is cold. Sometimes it was just very invigorating, but we just prefer to swim for a long time, and in such water it was unrealistic - we froze. Fish swim in large numbers. True, this is still a bay, so sometimes mud was nailed from yachts (or from somewhere else). But not for long. The territory of the hotel is small, but it seemed to us that it was much more than the declared 3.000, it is so well organized. There is where to walk (many promenade paths), where to sit overlooking the sea. The beach is illuminated, and indeed the hotel does not skimp on illumination. The views are great. Everything created by nature is pleasing to the eye.

The hotel until 18:00 give very tasty ice cream of different types. Absolutely wonderful Turkish coffee with Turkish delight to boot. A huge number of delicious fruits: peaches, plums, grapes, watermelon, melon, pears. Delicious desserts. Unobtrusive animation: no one drags you anywhere, but if you want, there is something to do. Good live music: a pianist plays in the lobby all day, a concert in the street in the evening.

Now for the cons.

Let's start with the operator. We drove from Teztur. It seems not the first time, but somehow God took care of it before. The plane was creepy (Windrose) food disgusting. When we flew back, it was better. No one greeted us at the hotel. Our guide turned out to be a very unpleasant person. She answered all our questions and wishes with an icy tone that she does not affect anything. It's not clear what he was doing there. When we had problems with the room (and not only with us), she said that we ourselves were to blame for choosing this hotel. Great approach to guests.
When we decided to book a sightseeing tour of Bodrum (that is, pay a teztour of money), she reluctantly talked about it and said without much enthusiasm that if we really want it, she can call and find out if they will come for us. After such an "invitation", the desire disappeared, and we went on our own, since it is very close.

From the hotel, this sweet girl disappeared as soon as dusk descended. I don't understand why she got paid. I would like such a job ...Her name is Emasheva Oksana. People, be vigilant! Such an indifferent and sometimes boorish attitude on the part of the guides have never been seen before.

We arrived around 10 am. Settlement after 14. This was not very surprising. We decided to take a look around. The impression began to take shape immediately. At the entrance to the hotel there are two plants in tubs (something cypress). One is green, the other is dry. This is the essence of hotel service. That is, like watering, but only in one place.
Hands do not reach the second tree.

Settled far after 14:00. After the night flight, people were no longer adequate. Rooms in the main building must be booked in advance as they are more expensive. But if you have problems with walking up the mountain (and here there are only steps), then it is better to take the main building. There is an elevator there.

At first we were settled in the 5th entrance, room 4906, second floor. This is the farthest and highest end of the hotel. The rises are almost vertical (girls, you better give up hairpins! ). We realized that we could not physically manage such a route several times a day, due to medical reasons. The room itself is new and clean. Everyone correctly writes about the door between the rooms: yes, it is closed, but the neighbors are very audible. For some people, this was the reason for changing the room (small children who sleep during the day and noisy youth do not get along very well). Room without windows. The light comes in through a narrow, very narrow door to the terrace. The view killed us: the wall and the fence (this is the end of the hotel).
There are thickets around, not put in order, so they block out the light, which is already lacking in the room. I even had to turn on the lights during the day. Next to the door is some kind of ...not a hole, not a cave. Utility room without a door with pipes and debris. Nm, two women, it became scary there. When a boy with a minibar came and we asked what kind of hole it was, he happily answered that it was not a hole, but ...an office! Well, what a hotel, such an office. And to our remark that perhaps there might be some animals there, he "reassured" us, saying that there were not many of them, only three. I don’t know what he wanted to say by that, but there was no desire to find out. Leaving my mother in a frustrated room, I went to change the room.

Our guide reacted to my requests to change the room indifferently. When I showed her a carefully taken photograph of the "burrow", she said that she did not understand at all where I had found it.
At the reception, I was kicked off at guest relations, where, in addition to my requests, to change the room to something decent, since it’s hard for my mother to go to this top and it’s just scary for us to be there, we were deaf. Until closer to dinner, an employee showed up who simply saved our vacation.

If you still decide to go to this hotel and suddenly (although not suddenly, but most likely) you encounter problems, do not waste your time and energy - contact Maria on guest relations. The girl is gold, a great manager. Able to listen, and most importantly - to hear. Excellent logic and fast reaction. She was not too lazy to go with me to the room, and several times, she showed options. And in the end, the next day, we were able to exchange with a woman who wanted silence. We moved to 1 entrance, right next to the main building. Room 4102. First floor. Our first room was frankly newer, but the location was more important to us. "Nora" was here too (this is some kind of brilliant idea of the architect!

), but it's not so obvious. The terrace is bright, sea view, and most importantly - no one saw us from the neighbors, complete privacy.

Since we changed rooms, we naturally expected that towels and beds would be changed for us, the room would be cleaned. It seems to be logical. It turned out not. At the reception I was told that everything closes at 18:00 and it is impossible to clean. That is, they offered to sleep in a bed where someone was already sleeping. No one even said how sorry they were. On the contrary, one manager grimaced at me and made faces (a clear desire to strangle me was read in his eyes), the second, when my mother asked where we should sleep, yelled that we would sleep in our room. The same parsley happened to the woman who moved to our first room. As a result, towels were brought to us around midnight after 3 reminders (I was not lazy and went to the reception every half an hour, since it was now close). But no one cleaned the room (bathroom).
In general, from such rudeness I wanted to immediately go home. Thanks to MariaJ at midnight, she again came to our room, wrote down all our complaints, brought us a second card for the air conditioner, which did not work very well (the room is very damp and there is a terrible smell without air conditioning). I don’t know when she got home, but we appreciated her desire to alleviate the situation.

There was fungus on the ceiling in the bathroom from dampness. The next day we had it painted. But the fungus is a living organism, so it must be killed by disinfection. But they don’t feel sorry for the paint, so when after 4 days it showed through again, they painted it again. In general, there are big problems with understanding: we asked for 4 glasses to be brought to us. The request was made in English and by Maria in Turkish. We ended up with 2 cups. I began to doubt their mental development, if they do not understand their native language.

By the way, the staff practically does not speak English. Although a lot of Europeans in the hotel.

When they write that they are treated better, it is not true. When I was running around with my problems, I saw how the same foreigners were walking in rows and columns and complaining and asking to change rooms, fix something, and they were also kicked out. I don’t know what attitude to the Turks, I didn’t notice.

Service is the main issue. It is practically absent. Cleaning service is very poor. I don’t ask you to lick the room, but if there are dead mosquitoes and flies near the sink, then you can remove them in 2 weeks (there are mosquitoes from the humidity in the rooms - we had a fumigator with us! ). No, the corpses lay proudly all 13 days. Plumbing is weak - the masters were called. The water drain in the bathroom did not work. He came and looked and said that this is normal and what we generally want from him.

It is rather problematic to find glasses, cups and plates without cracks and chipped edges in a restaurant. The waiters are like sleepy flies.

As for the food, it's tolerable. Breakfast and lunch were quite satisfying. But dinner was sometimes disappointing.
On the day of departure, the flight was delayed and if it weren’t for Maria, always working like a bee, we would have been safely put out of the hotel 3 hours earlier. The guides said that they did not know anything about the transfer of the flight (our travel agency informed us). Disgusting transfer to the airport with a transfer. The airport is small and dirty. Duty free is almost non-existent.

If someone goes to Isis, then stock up on a good mood and patience. In case of problems - go to Mary. This is the only person in the hotel who is truly happy to see you and who does not receive his salary in vain. Thank you so much for being there and for saving our vacation in some way!
