To begin with, this was our 8th trip to Turkey, but to Bodrum - for the first time. We have been in hotels of different classes, both 3 and 4 stars, and 5 stars (Limak Atlantis and Belek, Grand Yazici Mares in Marmaris) and the deluxe Cornelia DeLux in Belek. The most annoying thing is that we were also in the hotel of the Vera series (Vera Paraiso Verde and Belek) and therefore had an idea of what should be expected of us and did not hope for special luxury, but simply for normal conditions. How wrong were we...
Turtess brought us to the hotel perfectly, by 9 am, the guide interestingly acquainted with the features of the region. At the reception, the child was given a ball, coloring book and pencils, and we went for a walk around the territory. The territory is very similar to other hotels of the same Vera series, and is really very well-groomed and beautiful, although small.
By 11:30 we were settled in a room in the third building, overlooking a rather noisy road. However, the view from the window is not important for me. The main thing is to be clean! ! ! But! I have never seen such mold in the bathroom.

The tiny French balcony had no clothes dryer and housekeeping was limited to changing towels. The phone was not working in my room and my colleague's family didn't work (I got it fixed but they didn't, so getting in touch with friends was a bit difficult). When I later spoke about these problems on a guest relation, the answer struck me: “You are just probably the first time in Bodrum. There is mold everywhere. "-" But this is a 5-star hotel, I hinted ..."-" Well, they won't take a star from them. I should have chosen more carefully! "- was the exhaustive answer.
Well, they themselves are to blame. We relied on past experience, but here everything turned out differently.
From another unpleasant: there is practically nothing for breakfast (they start frying scrambled eggs from 9 in the morning, they mainly offer cookies and cornflakes), there is no diet and children's menu (but lunches and dinners are quite decent); the hotel is very noisy and for the first time in Turkey I had to complain to the reception at 5:20 in the morning, when the neighbors got noisy, rearranging furniture, loud screams, etc. (and the situation has not changed in a week, although the neighbors seem to have changed: ); after lunch on the sea, waves and mud washed up from yachts nearby (from what I saw personally - a used condom, a razor, numerous napkins, bottles, wrappers, seaweed); one day gasoline (or kerosene? ) poured out from a yacht nearby and it was impossible to swim in the sea; swimming pools small and dirty.

Of the benefits: good climate, clean (only in the morning!
) the sea, friendly staff (they try, it's just that the work, apparently, is not easy when the same waiter works from 7 am to 24), a beautiful garden.

Conclusion: is it possible to relax in this hotel - yes, it is quite possible, only it is very clear to understand that this is not 5 or even 4 stars.
Do I recommend this hotel to families with children - no, in no case do I recommend it. He must have been a miracle how good 30 years ago, but everything changes, right?
