After reading the reviews, I was also somewhat afraid to go : ) but everything turned out not so bad.
Of the global minuses - cleanliness and grooming is not enough. In the room on the wall in the shower there is a hefty imprint of the sole at eye level - no one even thinks to wipe it (in fairness, someone had the "mind" to leave this imprint there). The mattress for the fourth bed was brought first, terrible, dirty and with protruding springs, after polite, but sooo persistent requests, then they brought the second, third and fourth)) The fourth was even completely new) So it’s quite possible to negotiate with the staff.
There were also a lot of reviews about the beach, we were mentally prepared for this, we left the territory of Ora - the coast there, of course, is littered, but you can choose a relatively clean place. But it is spacious, calm and almost deserted (a maximum of 1-2 more companies came). The bottom is very rocky, so good beach shoes with thick soles and closed toe are a must. After reading the previous reviews stocked up with suitable shoes - and did not regret it. Flip flops and flip flops do not fit.

The ruins on the site of Ora look sad... Just mountains of construction debris under luxurious palm trees. Attempts to protect everything with fences and black films do not really save the impression.
Well, on the little things - either the ladder in the pool is staggering, then the shower near the beach is flowing... But the staff is trying, it cleans the territory, the mountains of garbage that vacationers throw, anywhere, are cleaned quite briskly.
Now, from the pros - the territory is very cozy, a lot of greenery, as everyone wrote, all this is watered every day. Trees, flowers, bushes, everything blooms and smells. Small two-story houses, all rooms with balconies. There is wonderful Turkish coffee and Wi-Fi at the reception. The food is quite good, only a lot of spicy, and it is often impossible to determine the appearance of the dishes. There were watermelons every evening, always plums (so-so), alternately there were grapes, peaches, oranges (it's all very tasty). Regarding the lack of forks, which was often written about here, yes, it happens that everything is snatched up, but new ones are quickly brought. Plates with chips - yes, there were a few all the time, but not critical - no one bothers you to set aside a plate and take another one. Alcohol is so-so, the cocktail generally resembles cough medicine)
Excursions are also interesting, we went to Greece on Kos - they did not regret it, the boat delivers in 20 minutes, the town is cozy, green, interesting. Many places with excavations, a fortress, the birthplace of Hippocrates, again : )
To Bodrum on a dolmush (minibus) ride quickly and inexpensively - 3.5 lira, we even came across a copy with air conditioning (the guide said that this is rare for dolmush). It’s a pity that they didn’t get into the fortress, it is under repair after last year’s earthquake. There are a lot of tent-shops with souvenirs, clothes, bags, jewelry.

As a result, they are satisfied with the rest, the sea is clean, no jellyfish and algae for you, the air is excellent, it is relatively not hot. The pools are beautiful and of different depths, there is even a paddling pool. It was even more difficult to get children out of the pools than out of the sea. Every evening the pools are cleaned and filled with bleach. Water slides operate on schedule, beach towels are issued from 9 am downstairs from the reception, where the hammam is. If you mentally prepare for shortcomings and politely, but stubbornly, insist on your requests to the staff, you can even settle down well.
Pleasant impressions!
