First, which is bad. First, you will not be given towels. More precisely, they will, but one less than you - the visitors. The rest will be given if you pester all the staff with this problem for several days, get to know each other and make friends with everyone, so that when they meet you from a distance, everyone will smile and exclaim "Hello, my friend, in one hour I will give your towell ok! " and so on for three days in a row.

Our guide from the tour operator said that the lack of towels is some kind of mystical permanent curse of this hotel, like some kind of washing machine or dryer is always breaking down. But this is not the worst.

By the way, only one employee speaks Russian, thank you very much. Otherwise, it's a great excuse to practice primitive English.

Biggest disappointment - no beach. Generally. There is a section of the sea littered with medium-sized, slippery and sharp building debris.

It is possible to go into the sea only in special rubber bathing galoshes (you can buy them locally, 7-8 dollars, but be prepared that one will fall off during the first swim, so you will have to buy several). Or you can go down from the pier, along a flimsy dumb ladder, onto the same sharp stones waist-deep, and then try to swim without hitting your feet on the stones.

In short, bathing is a matter of great enthusiasm. Children - almost nothing.

After this disappointment, shabby rooms, dying Internet only at the reception, a kind of cuisine - these are the little things in life.

Now about the good. The strength of this hotel is in the magnificent swimming pool complex. There are 5 of them, from the smallest, 35 cm for kids, to adults, plus two wonderful water slides, the children are delighted.

If you nevertheless went down to the sea and sailed away from the pier - the Aegean Sea is a miracle. In calm sunny weather - visibility is probably 10 meters. Do not forget diving goggles and photographic equipment.
In the fresh - beautiful waves.

A unique microclimate - fenced off by mountains from the continental heat, a lot of greenery and shade, very comfortable. At a time when +38 in Bodrum, +28-30 in the hotel, a fresh breeze from the sea, and even cool in the evening, pulled on sweaters.

Despite the general appearance, the staff is very friendly. Master a couple of English, Turkish phrases, plus sign language with a smile - and you will solve most of your questions. Even when they tell you that they will bring a towel in an hour, and both you and they understand that there are no towels - understand that the Turks are not deceiving you. They simply express their positive attitude towards the future. But will it really happen, or not - this is only subject to Allah alone, isn't it? Just enjoy life.

And further. Do not agree to the excursions that the guides at the hotel will offer.
It will be a hectic ride through the wild heat, with forced check-in to all sorts of affiliated shops and factories, and a few minutes for sightseeing, and a frail snack in obscure cafes for three times the price. Do not be afraid and do not be lazy, rummage around on the Internet, and just drive yourself along the same route - and you will see and learn much more and more comfortably.

I highly recommend a trip to the Greek island of Kos (requires a biometric passport or Schengen, and no visit to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus). Book a transfer from the hotel to the port and back, conveniently. Sailing on a huge catamaran for about twenty minutes, standing in queues at passport control longer. But it's worth it. Greece is a completely different world.

If you want further travel, sail to Rhodes or Marmaris. More optimism, and the rest will be wonderful!
