This hotel was highly recommended to me by friends and co-workers. When choosing, I was very attracted by the large scale of the hotel, as well as a very reasonable price for a five-star stay. Well, as it turned out in the end, we got exactly as much as we paid for.
Letoonia is considered one of the most beautiful hotels in Fethiye. On the way from the airport to the hotel, you yourself will pay attention to this. Letoonia is surrounded by water on all sides and is simply immersed in flowers and greenery. The reception met us with a rather warm atmosphere with soft drinks and wet towels, which are very helpful in the sweltering heat. It was the second half of August, and I absolutely do not advise you to visit Fethiye at this time, since it was simply impossible to hide from the heat during the day, which sometimes reached 43 degrees Celsius. Placed us quickly, our choice fell on the bungalow "X".
The territory with a bungalow is located at the opposite end of the "peninsula" of the hotel. It takes about 5-10 minutes to get there from the reception on foot (if you don't run). To help vacationers, a trolley is provided, which during the day describes circles from the main building to the bungalow pool area. I must say right away that this service is very lame. This trolley is driven by extremely ill-mannered and irritated personnel. Apart from the fact that this type of transport turned out to be very uncomfortable and the only one for the whole hotel (at such and such distances), the drivers working in shifts behaved very impolitely, made boorish comments about the tourists who got off the trolley, often snorted after them, and also very often did not travel at all. They could wait a very long time and never wait. I still don’t understand why it was impossible to buy a couple of “golf carts”, they are silent, quite comfortable and easy to drive.

Having examined the area of ​ ​ the hotel on the map, I wanted on the very first day that we were provided with a standard service of familiarization with the territory. This is very convenient for a landmark, especially with so many restaurants, bars and beaches in one complex. This service was denied to us, it is missing. On the trolley, you can only get acquainted with what is on the way - a dining room, one a la carte, one beach and a pool. The remaining 90% of the territory, go explore it yourself.
We liked our bungalow. Clean, comfortable, there are two pairs of slippers, bathrobes, towels. Yes, the bungalow does not have such trendy repairs, high-class furniture and appliances. There is no Wi-Fi on the territory of the bungalow. But the bungalow offers amazing views of the bay. I remind you that the standard rooms in the main building above the reception are much better decorated and arranged, but they were much more expensive. But believe me, a bungalow is such a convenient option, especially in terms of location. From the bungalow close to all the main points of hotel life - the main pool, beach with slides and water sports, animation area, main dining area.
There is no problem with the amount of food in the hotel. But with quality... Now I'll explain. From the very beginning, it should be understood that Fethiye is not Antalya, it is a completely different climate, a completely different atmosphere. The heat is also different there, and in addition to the heat, a lot of flies fly. And at the same time, the hotel does not have a single catering indoors, everything is outdoors. And the picture of the food laid out in the heat in the "air", which is attacked from all sides by flies, did not make me hungry. I tried not to snack during the day, but at lunch and dinner to eat piping hot, fried fish or meat in front of my eyes. Try to make sure you have a hearty dinner, because "late dinner" at 00:00 was a couple of terrible heated dishes that no one touched during lunch or dinner. There is a wide variety of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you won't go hungry. I remember that it was always very hot to eat, and it was simply impossible to have time to take the best places under the fans. Lucky only a couple of times.
The main large bar by the pool is a favorite place for all vacationers, because there was good Wi-Fi. But I will also answer that the service there was not very good. In general, I want to highlight one big problem of the hotel - UNFRIENDLY STAFF. For the first time in Turkey at 5 *, I was faced with the fact that the staff had all the negative emotions and bad mood imprinted on their faces. I think that this is a big minus, since I have enough sour and dissatisfied faces at home, I don’t need them at the resort.

Animation. When there is something to compare with, it becomes especially difficult. Quite a passive animation team, which has a good rest in the hotel, from time to time entertaining vacationers with a favor. The female half of the troupe is very nice Russian girls, but the male half, assembled from people from strange countries named Mamadou, Ricardo, etc. never aroused any sympathy. From the whole team, I can single out one chubby Turkish guy who actually stood out from the general crowd and was a real merry fellow. Evening shows were of a very meaningless nature, without a fan and a bottle of cold water it was indispensable. The poster for the show had nothing to do with what was happening on stage. We were pleased with the good choreography, and, as a rule, each performance "came out" on the number to the music and dances of the immortal Michael Jackson.
I was really satisfied with the trip to the a la carte fish restaurant. Everything there was amazing - the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I highly recommend.
In general, about the rest at the Letoonia hotel, I can say the following -
The hotel is perfect for those who want a passive holiday, calm their nerves, soak up the sea and bask in the sun. Quiet, relaxing holiday for the whole family.
With all the minuses of the complex, try to dissolve in the beauty of the landscapes around, merge with nature together and enjoy every minute breathing this sea-saturated air. I will not recommend this hotel to my friends, but I have already advised it to my parents. Be sure to take the time and visit the tour around the area. Fethiye has some very beautiful places to see.
The hotel is very large, a list of objects on its territory can be found on their website. Hope the review is helpful. Holidays in Letoonia reminded me of Antalya in the late 90s. I think that over time they will also learn to accept tourists.
