Good day to all !
All this was in July 2007.
Why did we choose Fethiye and LETUNIA? We wanted to go to Turkey where there are fewer compatriots, and, accordingly, the level of service is higher + we were also looking for a not noisy resort (like a disco like Bodrum), a picturesque corner with a more or less quiet environment conducive to relaxation. We used the services of the operator "WIND ROSE" - for which many thanks, no complaints.

Our journey to Turkey to the Fethiye region to the LETOONIA CLUB hotel can be said to have begun from the South Kiev railway station. We arrived there at midnight. According to the big idea and according to the information at the Borispol reference terminals, minibuses from the railway station to Boryspil were supposed to leave before 2 am. But in fact it turned out that at half past one there were only taxi drivers. The first taxi driver charged us 200 UAH for the journey from the station to the Boryspil airport. They threw off his ardor to 100 UAH. for two. In reality, the minivans take 25-30 hryvnias. Night Kyiv is empty and sleeping, so we got there in 35 minutes.
At the airport, from the main entrance of terminal "B", you need to go forward 40-50 meters and on the left you will see customs counters with various kinds of information. Declaration forms are immediately taken and filled in, which, as it turned out later, is not so important . . since no one looked at them, referring to the “green” corridor with Turkey, and therefore the departure system is simplified.

The guy with the tickets, a representative of TEZZ TOUR, according to the manager of the company where we booked the ticket, was supposed to appear at 4:00 near the customs desks described above, but actually appeared at 4:20 and somewhere closer to the checkpoints. So do not yawn near the specified place for a long time... if there is no courier at the agreed time, then it's time for you to look for him in the area. A small crowd formed during the distribution of tickets, which quickly dispersed. Documents for a ticket were issued as follows: “Where are you flying? ”... “There then”, “FULL NAME YOUR? ” "such and such"... - and all the documents were issued without presenting a passport... 8) It's simple.

Some more time of waiting and began to pass through the terminals. 2 hours before departure. Through the loudspeaker, it was not quite intelligible to hear which flight was about to board. So it's better to look at the monitors, on which the name of your flight should appear. The girl behind the parapet only needs to show tickets, a passport was not required here either... so if you want to fly to the balloon 8-) you can do it very simply . . based on the fact that you don’t need to show your passport anywhere... (just kidding). We go through the baggage check-in, and here we already need a passport... Put your suitcases on the tape in turn and the girl glues tags on them and on your tickets. The weight limit is 20 kg. A small bag in which I recommend putting all the electronics - it is desirable and you can take it with you. I highly recommend either packing your bags yourself or packing at the airport. Unpacked suitcases are opened by someone... in the process from the moment of departure to the moment of arrival . . probably in order to search for valuables. I also recommend printing your coordinates on a self-adhesive sheet on A4 format and sticking it to your suitcases, in case the luggage is lost somewhere. Further passport control and waiting for departure. I advise you to take salted anchovies on the plane in case you start to feel sick.
During the flight you are fed and watered 1 time.
DALAMAN AIRPORT.
Large but very deserted building. When we arrived, there was zero activity around and at. Pay $20 at passport control. From the person and you put a stamp. Then you go down to the bottom and past the duty free - go outside to the buses and guides who tell you your flight.
We traveled to Fethiye in a comfortable air-conditioned bus, the guide girl entertained us all the way with interesting stories and tips. Well done. On the way, the bus carries tourists. We stopped at the MAJESTY CLUB TUANA PARK hotel as well as LYKIA BOTANIKA BEACH. We did not see the hotels in detail, but the territory is green. But the road to these hotels ran through wastelands overgrown with reeds, wilds of bushes... some kind of slums. It was a little disturbing and stressful. Thoughts arose as to where we were being taken. So if you want to enjoy walks outside the hotel, then unfortunately you won’t be able to take a special and impressive walk. There are no sights in the area, except for two-story houses. In addition, "MAJESTI TUANA" is a hotel where the main contingent is Russian-speaking tourists. Leaving most of the passengers there, we drove almost on our own further to the "FLYING".

The way to "FLYING" lay through Fethiye. Fethiye is a village in which, among the sights, there are the remains of Lycian burials, the ruins of a knight's castle. Throughout the village you can find a bunch of souvenir shops, in the center there is a bazaar. The village is very well maintained. "LETUNYA" is located outside the village, 10-15 km. About. The road has already ceased to inspire fears that arose from the landscapes from the thickets of weeds at the entrance to the "MAJESTI TUANA". Outside the window ran hills, mountains, groves of coniferous trees, beautiful landscapes. Well, when we entered the hotel territory, our fears completely melted away. LETUNIA immediately impresses its guests with its chic landscaping, decoration, architecture and solid reception building. At the entrance there are luggage porters, a local mini-train, for transporting guests to their bungalows. The reception is located in the hotel building. A little further on, the bungalows begin.
I’ll make a reservation right away that LETUNIA is a more European resort. The ratio here of the Slavs in relation to the Europeans: approximately 15% to 85%. Basically here you can meet: the British, Welsh, French, Lebanese, Dutch. Therefore, the staff here speaks good English and relatively good Russian (mostly general phrases). But at the reception there are Russian-speaking girls. When you exit the bus, your luggage is placed at the entrance, without worrying about it, you go to check-in and check-in. Next, at the reception, you need to knock out good numbers. The fact is that since the resort is mainly European, AND THIS IS ITS HUGE PLUS, they try to settle our brother away from the British, Lebanese, French, Dutch and others who can complain about our noisy brother... So, giving 10-20 dollars to the administrator with the words winking: "Give me a decent room with a sea view . . " - maybe not a ride. They will take your money, but they will shove you somewhere far away. According to the staff, a "good place" is a room in a bungalow on the ground floor with a view of someone's wall, bushes or cacti. It is always worth choosing the second floor.
Here are a couple of tips for getting a good number in a bungalow:
1) Don't be greedy. Be prepared to give $30-40.
2) Immediately decide with whom you will negotiate. If you know English well. Then negotiate with anyone. And if the knowledge of English. no, it would be better for you to find out who speaks Russian and understands and already negotiate with him for which you give 30 dollars. otherwise you may be understood that you are just tipping... 8) Use phrases: MAY I TALK WITH SOMEBODY WHO SPEAK RUSSIAN? (mei ai tok vis sambadi whoo spik rushn? )
3) You can try to do it through the guide. Give him money, say that you need a room with a sea view and on the second floor, and preferably somewhere near the center. If the guide cares, he will do the right thing. Honestly, I wouldn't count on it.

4) Here is a small list of rooms with a convenient location: W2, W3, W7, W8, X5, X8, X7, M8, M4, M5 as well as Y, X, R, P, O series bungalows. If you are with children, then you better get closer to the mini-club for children: No. 86.72, 71.69, 66.76 in the same area, mansions and mini-villas begin.
If you mention one of these numbers at the reception, the administrator may get the impression that you have already been here and it will be difficult to fool you. Use as a trump card.
We should take into account the fact that the bungalows are located on the territory in such a way that the sea is not always visible even from the best ones. The sea will be a little distant and visible through the branches of chic vegetation growing on the territory of the hotel. If you really paid for accommodation in a more expensive bungalow with a terrace or a balcony, then you don’t need to worry. The sea will be visible. If upon arrival at the bungalow you are not satisfied with what you saw, immediately call the reception and ask you to be moved to another room. Better yet, take a couple of three names of free bungalows and see for yourself, and then stop at one of them. But this, of course, will take too much time. Because the territory is JUST HUGE. In general, always take the second floor - you will not lose. I am also attaching a diagram of the location of buildings on the territory of the hotel.
In view of the fact that "LETUNYA" was built quite a long time ago - its territory is richly landscaped, the greenery has managed to grow and grow. Plantings are constantly looked after here. So the bungalows are buried in greenery, everything around is blooming and pleasing to the eye. You get the impression that you are in a botanical garden. By the way, it is precisely because of this that I advise you to go there in late May - early June, you will fall into the season of violent flowering. In July, due to the rather strong heat, the flowering subsided a little. The first thing that struck me and a little frightened me was the constant and noisy chirping of cicadas, which begin to sing with the appearance of the sun and until complete darkness. At first it seemed that this monotonous crackling would get tired and would not let you rest, but how wonderful it is - by the end of the day you have already stopped noticing it, and in some places you even begin to catch some kind of rhythm. Cool

Since the territory is huge, a mini car paravozik constantly drives around it. Tired of wandering - sit down, the bass will be taken free of charge. Basically, it is constantly clogged with rolling children.
There are three buffet restaurants on site. The differences between them are in the vastness of the dishes, the specifics of the dishes and the modes of operation. One is located near the reception, central in the center and an evening restaurant on the other side of the territory. The one near the reception is open from morning until midnight. Central - from morning to 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Evening from 7 pm to 10 pm. It is necessary to remember the rules of the "dress code", i. e. you will not be allowed there in wet swimsuits or swimming trunks, it is advisable to put on shorts. The range of dishes and variety, quantity are simply impressive... we didn’t manage to try all the dishes for 8 days in all three restaurants... 8) There are a lot of different salads, there are many varieties of roast meat and fish, there are liquid dishes and even separate section for diabetics. There is also a wide selection of fruits and sweets. The only thing that - so it's drinks, juices seemed to us diluted, wine - quite peculiar... it seems that even young. Beer "EFES" - well, beer is like beer... you can even drink it very much.
Separately, I would like to tell you about the MOONLIGHT restaurant - this is an evening buffet restaurant. It opens at 19:00 and until 22:30. Our brother is clearly visible here too - in 15 minutes, queues line up and form, which will look a little wild. This restaurant is worth a visit because of: a beautiful view from the terrace of the evening bay, the mountains illuminated by the setting sun and the evening lights of Fethiye twinkling in the distance.

Our brother, by the way, can be seen from the plates filled to the top with all sorts of things that you can’t eat. By the way, among Europeans it is considered bad form if you have a bunch of unfinished or half-eaten food left on your plate.
There has never been such a thing that the next day would be the same as yesterday. There were always 5-10 new dishes. There was never a crowd or a queue. There is always availability. The service is super. True, more attention is clearly visible to Europeans than to Russians. In addition, there are snack bars. And there are 3 a la carte restaurants: fish, Turkish, Chinese. The specificity of these restaurants is that you need to sign up for a day or two. It's all free there too. If for me, then I would rather go to the usual restaurant with a buffet - I would have eaten more satisfyingly. The trick of these a la carte is that the number of people is limited here, they allegedly offer you dishes that are not available in ordinary restaurants . . but in reality this only applies to a Chinese restaurant... although... Turkish Chinese - you yourself understand that this is... no one prescribes a Chinese specialist... 8) You can go here just to find out what it is and in order to spend a romantic evening by the lights . . by candlelight....
In the center there is a central bar, and on the territory there are either coolers with water or minibars with drinks. Drinks of course a la "UPPI", there are juices, but they are somehow diluted. Since the ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE system, lovers of drinking - here is a real paradise. I recommend trying CUBA LIBRE. Only non-local drinks are charged. Those. for example, "MARTINI" of a local spill - you will be free of charge, but imported... i. e. the original is a separate song. So, if you are not very pretentious about drinks, then you can enjoy substitutes for a while. In the evenings, only the bar in the center and near the reception is open. You can sit at a table, but in order to be approached, you need to somehow signal the waiters scurrying between the British and preferably English. 8) The choice of cocktails is quite wide.
For animation, a special amphitheater was built in LETUNIA. I must say that the animation, especially in the evening, is at the highest level. Not only are they never repeated, there has never been anything boring, so to all this animation is carried out in three or four languages at the same time. The guys are doing a great job: various theatrical performances, show programs, dance evenings, the active participation of the audience. In the evenings, in addition, discos are sometimes held by the fire on the sandy beach. There is also a special open building for discos with light music, which is located in the area of the evening restaurant "MOONLIGHT".

During the daytime, local animation programs are held throughout the territory from morning to evening. The schedule of these programs is posted in the center near the bar. Basically, they are more or less standard every day: exercises, volleyball, games in the pool, etc. It should be noted a very energetic senior animator, as well as animator Ricky and ShuShu... - funny guys. In addition to entertainment programs, you can find entertainment for yourself that is also free: archery, surfing, canoes, catamarans, etc. Sometimes it’s true that you need to go through a little instruction “how to manage a wind surf” before you are allowed to ride it. The instructors also speak Russian.
For children, there is a specially designated part of the territory where parents can take care of their children. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's paid. Babysitters speak different languages. The beach near this area is sandy and not deep.
Speaking of the beaches… the specificity of “LETUNIIA” is that around the peninsula on which the hotel is located, a pier paved with tiles runs around… this is, as it were, the main beach . . i. e. sun loungers are placed on it from whichever side you want... no crowding . . lack of sun loungers, lack of umbrellas or towels - absolutely none, just enough. So about the pier… you can walk along the pier, but if you don’t have sensitive feet… because it gets a little hot before lunch… There are special non-slippery slopes from the pier into the sea. The bottom of the pier is pebbly. Personally, my feet constantly tickled. It should be mentioned that the sea is quite deep. The distance from the pier to a depth of 2 meters is about 5-6 meters. This applies to almost the entire hotel.
There are 2 bulk sandy beaches: for children and for adults. They are naturally smaller. The water is clean and without algae. It is actively teeming with fish: if you take mollusks, crush them . . put on glasses and dive open your palm in the water - you will see who will come to you... 8) It is best to dive and watch the fish from the side of the lighthouse. There are massive outgrowths of mollusks. In view of the large length of the pier-beach, you can constantly follow the sun or take a break from it in the shade. On the pier, in addition to wooden deck chairs with leather mattresses, there are hammocks, benches, terraces and vertical hammocks... Towels are free - you ask a card - you get a towel. As you can see, again, everything is free of charge... being only in a hotel, you will not spend money AT ALL! . . Again, only on tips. eight-)

There is an internet cafe on site. Free. 8-) 10 computers, the Internet is really slow... It can be busy with kids and often buggy - but to my delight, the admin is selling photos nearby. They say in expensive villas - there are laptops.
There are also toilets on site. Clean and automated.
Speaking in more detail about the rooms in the bungalow, it should be mentioned that we lived in the "family room". Spacious room with shower and toilet. Every day everything was cleaned and changed. For the left dollar - two . . they will also bring you flowers. The air conditioner is correct. There is a TV, a minibar, a spacious closet - !!! WHICH IS MINISAFE!!! . Spacious bed and also has an ottoman by the window. There is a hairdryer in the shower. Around there are detailed instructions in Russian. There is a telephone for calls within the hotel and long distance. The only gripe is the wooden bedside tables by the bed.
In one bungalow from 4 to 8 rooms. We did not hear our neighbors in any way - the sound insulation is good. Again, remember that if you are not satisfied with the bungalow, you can arrange to change it. It all depends on your language skills. If the hotel is not busy - you, having bought a ticket to the "standard room" - you can agree on something better on the spot.

As for the entertainment and tours offered by the employees of TEZZ TOUR, in general, there are no complaints... You have two choices - either you will cross to the other side in FETHIE with the help of a ferry that periodically arrives at the LETUNIA pier . . and there you can find a cheaper tour directly in the port... or pay a little extra and choose some kind of tour right at the hotel, but you will be brought by bus, they are responsible for you and you don’t have to run anywhere. We went to the Dalyan: to the Lycian burials (unfortunately we didn’t go up to them), then to Dalyan (estuary) to look at the big turtles “coach-coach” that pop up if you buy a crab for $ 5 and throw its meat into the water, then a sandy beach with such hot sand that it’s impossible to stand on it... but with gorgeous waves, then mud hydrogen sulfide baths (after which you smell for about two days 8) and a carpet ride to the factory... where, if you have the desire and money, you you can buy a carpet for yourself: I recommend 1000 and 1 night - THE BEST THING for 8000 dollars. True with delivery to you. ). See the file-schedule of trips. In fact, in order to catch at least three of them, you need to go for 14 days.
I also recommend parasailing in Olya Deniz and rafting... you can also visit the nearby Greek restaurant - located in the middle of the ruins of a Greek city. Excellent cuisine. In addition to trips from "TEZZ TOUR" - you can find agents right on the territory of the hotel near the souvenir shops. They have a couple of entertainments that "TEZZ TUROVTSEV" does not have. In general, you can go anywhere and with anyone - you can do it yourself. Condition: the presence of money, rights, or just money and find a driver. You can even rent a yacht for a day for 1000 - 1500 dollars.
The British, who have a rest in LETUNIA, do not really make contact. They even write something like this in the guest book: “. . . if the Russians were removed from here, it would be calmer and better... ” 8) So, I advise you to go here in pairs or with friends. But, if you are young, you can easily meet someone at a disco. The hotel staff is very polite and courteous.
"LETUNIA" - will definitely charm you and you will want to come here again.
