Not the first time in Turkey. This hotel is very different from the usual Turkey, but in general this region. There are very few compatriots, a lot of Turks and Germans. The location is excellent: you leave the hotel - 10 meters and the sea, although the hotel and the sea are separated by a small pedestrian zone. The room is a little dilapidated, but quite tolerable for the money that we paid for the ticket, it will do just fine. Of course, if you look at the little things, you can ruin your vacation... we are not pretentious, then that the shower water got on the tiles, then that there was something similar to mold - little things, especially since we only slept in the room. The air conditioner worked fine. They would have given money not at the reception, maybe they would have received the same set, only with a quieter side . . it was inconvenient to open the windows . . noisy . . because they went out into the street, where transport periodically shmanul. Slept with closed windows, but with air conditioning. The room was on the first floor in the main building.
Meals were breakfasts and dinners. Breakfasts are the same as everywhere else: scrambled eggs, eggs, cheese, sausage, buns, yoghurts, crunches, in general, nothing special. They weren't hungry. Dinner - frankly speaking, fig dinners . . I had enough, but my husband left hungry... You approach the cook, pours soup, knows the word "soup" and reacts joyfully. You can take supplements. Vegetables: cucumbers, tomatoes. Salads: 4-5 or something similar to salads, such as beans in sauce or cold pasta with some kind of sauce. Well, very scarce: watermelon or grapes. That is, it seems like you can choose something . . but it’s not satisfying and not interesting... What kind of sunsets are there !! ! It's worth going there for them. You can sit at dinner and watch the sun go down as the dining terrace is open.
After dinner we went for a walk along the promenade. Along the same pedestrian zone. It turns out that hotels go on the left, then the embankment and the sea. On the first floors of hotels, tables are usually set up and restaurants open to visitors. So in our hotel it was possible to dine for $ 10, in other hotels the same system. That is, you walk along the embankment - go to any restaurant at the hotel and treat yourself to a buffet for the price indicated on the plate.

The sea. . . not the same as in Croatia, Montenegro - not the Adriatic in its color and transparency, not the same as the Black Sea, not the same as the Red . . not at all the same as in Side, Kemer or Alanya. Absolutely different. It is green, cloudy, slightly oily. But don't let that scare you, because it was the Chalysh turtles who chose this region to lay their eggs... well, would they breed in a dirty place? So feel free to swim, the sea is normal.
Do not take excursions from your guides, from Tez it is 2 times more expensive. We took a tour of Sakklikent in jeeps on the street (for those who do not speak English, the option is not suitable). That one was extreme! Take umbrellas with you and be ready from the moment you get into the jeeps. I won't say what will happen, but you can guess. The tour was awesome, you won't regret it. It cost us $20 per person and that included meals! The second excursion was taken on a boat through the bays: $ 13 per person with meals on the ship. For example, for the thesis, only the move costs $ 20. Knowledge of English on this tour will be useful, but not required. Walk along the embankment, ask around for prices, we found the cheapest at FOCUS, you can find it even cheaper. They said there is another company LION, maybe even cheaper. We saw their stand, but it was far from us and did not approach them, since the tour program was already over and we were just relaxing on the sea.
We went to the city of Fethiye itself, at prices a little more expensive than everything we have in Calis. Cheap orange juices. A very interesting fish market, you can go to choose a fish and it will be cooked right there. Even next to the market for the smell, you can go to the "coffee grinder". We took some coffee, not like in Istanbul, but also quite decent, brought home.
If we had more days, we could go to Oludeniz a couple more times, the water in the sea there is turquoise, not transparent, but like milk.
Conclusions: it is worth going to see the new Turkey, go on excursions. Very interesting secluded place. The hotel itself is good. . but the food will not please those with children or those who like a variety of delicious food.
