Traveled as a family with two adult children. We didn’t have much time and money to choose a hotel - we needed a budget hotel near the sea. Buying two rooms for four adults is significantly more expensive than buying one for a family with small children - so the financial issue was in the first place. However, we did not go for a "hotel" holiday, but for the sea and the sun.
The basic requirements of sleep-eat-take a shower were met, and we did not pay much attention to the rest.
Of course, having read the reviews, we were horrified - but not everything is so scary!
Yes, the hotel is old, the furniture is shabby, but clean enough - by the way, where did the reviews about cockroaches come from? For two weeks, not a single one was seen either in the rooms or on the territory of the dining room. We didn’t have time to look for mold on baseboards - what did you want in a country where it’s hot and high humidity?

I read in some reviews that food is brought from some other hotel - this is not true: the hotel has its own chef and its own kitchen - a kitchen in the basement on the back of the building.
Yes, there is not a large selection of food, but we have never been hungry, all the food is about the same as everywhere else in Turkey - vegetables, chicken, rice, couscous, liquid soups. Meat was not much, but it was every day. People, what do you understand by the word "meat"? - beef and pork? You will not find pork in a Muslim country in principle! Have you seen the prices for beef? - Do you know how much it costs in Turkey? At least four times more expensive than in Russia! Are you going to an inexpensive hotel and waiting for mountains of kebabs, steaks and barbecue? In my understanding, the concept of "meat" also includes: chicken, fish, turkey - all this was there a little, but every day. There were even cutlets - and they are not soy! And the cook "personally" gave out fried chicken only once - the rest of the time the food was freely available.
Many write that they did not get food, and they admired the empty trays...Do you know why? Because more than half of the vacationers collected food on their plates more than twice as much as they could eat, and then it was all thrown into the trash.
Of the fruits were watermelons - sweet and ripe, plums, peaches, apricots, grapes. Yes, with sweets it’s tight, there was no choice, but no one stood over the soul either - they didn’t control how much you take. Worn and spoiled products have never been observed. But the coffee was really disgusting - I have not tried the worst yet, I had to drink tea.
There are really problems with cleaning - the maid appeared only once in two weeks, but you could approach her at any time and ask for the necessary things - clean towels, shampoo, paper. On the other hand, we were calm that in our absence no one was rummaging around the rooms.

They didn’t take the safe, at first they closed everything of value in a suitcase with a lock, and then they stopped removing the laptop from the table altogether. And once they forgot to lock the door and left for half a day - nothing was missing, nothing was stolen!
They didn’t use Wi-Fi, bought a 10 GB SIM card, and distributed the Internet to themselves on their other devices (three phones and a laptop).
We went to the hotel beach once by bus, the rest of the time we went to the city one - 5 minutes walk at any time you wanted, you don’t have to wait for someone to pick you up.
Excursions at the hotel did not take - contacted Ginza Travel. There many times cheaper, a large selection of excursions, insurance. And yes, do not be fooled by the hotel guide's belief that insurance does not work if you take excursions on the street! Insurance does not work only if you are intoxicated!
Read carefully the terms of the insurance policy for your tour - insurance starts to work as soon as you board the plane, and until the end of your trip, but on the condition that you are sober as a glass!
The overall result: we were in the hotel a little - the services that the hotel provided suited us. We didn’t go for a hotel vacation - we enjoyed the clear sea, the sun, walked around Kemer, went on excursions.

P. S. Upon check-in, there were no free rooms with a balcony, and we were settled for two days in RESIDENCE RIVERO 4 *. The food there was more varied, but the hotel is incomparably larger and more expensive than the Adalin Resort.
