Came back 4 days ago. Astoria is a hotel for those who know how to organize their own leisure. Because there is little entertainment.
For example, I didn’t care at all about the animation in the hotel and whether the waiters speak Russian there (many are not very happy with this). It was important for me to be fed, watered and put to bed - all this was done.
I rested alone, they settled me in a double room - so I had relative space)))) Although I did not give money to anyone. There, two ladies generally lived in a single room, they settled someone in other hotels - there were no places. They cleaned every day, cleanly, the only thing they didn’t bring water to the room was to pour it into bottles from the cooler. My sink was bad - water did not leave it and the shower flowed. But the cabin was fixed for me the next day, and with the sinks they have throughout the hotel, such a disaster seems to be.

The legendary aunt Ira is a normal aunt, similar to our Georgian or Azerbaijani women. In general, such a homely atmosphere reigns in the hotel, the most pleasant people are sitting at the reception.
Hotel location: excellent. Very convenient: the sea to the left, the city to the right. You walk along the flowering streets for 3 minutes.
Food: normal hotel menu. No frills. There was meat - lamb in the form of minced meat or pieces, chicken, as elsewhere, it was full, they gave fish. Everyone complained about tasteless watermelons - we had delicious watermelons.
TV: many Russian channels. And there are locals. Those who like to lie in the room will not get bored.
In general, Astoria really does not live up to 4 stars. In this I join the previous speakers. 3 plus. And in general - the rest turned out to be good. Everything I wanted, I got. What I wish for everyone!
