In the evening, walking around the city, you will never get lost - just go to the noise, believe me, this is not Inferno and not Aura, this is our beloved Astoria. Despite the fact that the disco ends at 23.30, this does not mean at all that it is a quiet time for sleep. Believe me, at this time everything is just beginning : ) People drive up to the hotel - they turn on the music to the fullest (in principle, there is no difference from the hotel disco), they shift the tables by the pool into one big "wedding" table - and the holiday lasts for hours until 3 am. You will not be able to sleep until this time, because. soundproofing in the hotel is not provided (advice - it will become a little quieter if you close the blackout curtains), do not watch TV, because the sound of it is completely drowned out by the disco. By the way, already at the beginning of the 7th they begin to push the tables back, preparing for breakfast. Strange, but this is the only hotel with such a loud "musical accompaniment". Apparently, already knowing such a feature of the hotel, mostly young cheerful companies come there to relax, or lonely ladies of Balzac age, who miss the once stormy and drunken bygone youth. . . It's good that Astoria has its own beach, by the way, also "musical" - at lunchtime you can sleep there for the night.
The hotel staff is really very good, friendly, unobtrusive, tactful - and this despite the fact that most of the hotel guests are Russian! At the end of my vacation, even I had a desire to shoot some of my compatriots : ) You have to be more decent, gentlemen.
There are no problems with food - every day there was meat, snacks, salads, the table was full, even cabbage soup was cooked. The kitchen is adapted to ours. The only thing I didn’t like was that if you go on an excursion to Pamukkale (starts at 5 am) not from a hotel guide, they won’t give you a fresh lunch (in our opinion dry rations), they have such a policy. It’s not very pleasant when you sit alone like a bast shoe with bananas and chocolate, while everyone else has normal hotel breakfasts.

Cleaning in the room every day, regularly change bedding, towels, and regardless of the tip - always neat.
A lot has been written about the Turkish bath at the hotel - it's up to you to decide whether you should go there or not. By the way, we did not regret about the price tag - if you go to the city bath and take the full package as in Astoria (several types of body, face, head massage, mask), the services cost the same (i. e. $ 25-30) , compare with the same Ginza.
And one more thing - in no case do not agree to excursions offered by your tour operators at the hotel (in particular, a TEZ tour, I won’t talk about PEGAS, I don’t know). You will be scammed like the last suckers! We also got on our first excursion to Demre-Mira-Kekova, we decided that "the miser pays twice", it's better to overpay (almost twice! ), But to get a quality service (well, aren't they suckers? ). As a result, the tour consisted in the fact that they bring you to the place, land you like cattle with the words "you have 30 minutes of time, we won't waste it on history, go, take a picture, who won't make it in 30 minutes, we'll leave without him, I'll be waiting you on the bus, good luck", loitering around like a fool and taking a picture of a scoreboard with a brief historical description. But already in shopping centers, where they will certainly bring you - unlimited time, and the guide will walk with you and tell you about the features of each product, and when you buy something, at the checkout they will carefully read your plate (politely given to you by the guide with the aim of supposedly not get lost) with the guide and give him bonuses. Ugh! We have not seen such divorces with local travel agencies.
