I rested with my boyfriend in Kemer at the Astoria Hotel from April 20 to April 27.2013. When I arrived, despite the fact that it was still 11 o'clock, I was immediately settled in the room. It was a little alarming that before settling, I was invited to the spa area to chat with the informant there - the woman Irade. As it turned out later, she conducts briefings about what is in the hotel. I was extremely surprised that the hotel administration insisted on paying for the safe (a day costs $ 3). I did not plan to use the safe, but I had to agree and pay for this service. After I talked with other tourists, there were people who refused to pay by signing a waiver. In principle, I liked the hotel, clean, cleaned every day, laid swans and hearts on the beds. The hotel has rooms in which the windows overlook the pool, and there are rooms that overlook the other side - it looks like there was another hotel or some hostels. Our windows were overlooking the pool, we could watch all the animation. The music was very loud. When I wanted to watch TV in the room, I couldn't hear anything because of the loud music. Of course, if you have children, it is better to take rooms with windows on the opposite side of the pool. The food, of course, left much to be desired. But they did not die of hunger. It's just that for a 4-star hotel, it would be possible to cook better and more varied. We went to the hammam. There you could use the sauna, cold water pool and hammam free of charge. Representatives of tour operators were regularly in the hotel, so that they could clarify questions that interest them or book an excursion. We, however, went on excursions on our own. So it was more interesting and cheaper. For example, we took the lift to Mount Tahtali - the ticket for the lift and the cost of the road cost us about $ 35, and the hotel guides offered a tour there for $ 65. The beach is not very far from the hotel, probably 10-15 minutes walk. When we were relaxing, the bar on the beach did not work and I did not notice the shower. In principle, this hotel is worthy of a trip there, an economy option for those who want without much chic, but quite decently to relax.
