Hotel ratings by criteria:
We rested in Belpinar in late October - early October 2011.
Almost all vacationers are from the CIS. There are a lot of small children and pensioners. The staff is very friendly, especially to children, almost everyone, except for the masculine security guard, speaks Russian.
Rooms.

Even among us, undemanding tourists, exhausted by rest in the Crimea, the rooms in Belpinar caused bewilderment, we did not expect this from four stars. The hotel has 4 buildings, the quality of the rooms in them is different. If you (as we used to be) are “lucky” and you are accommodated in the first building, I advise you to immediately talk to the girls at the reception about moving to another building. A small cramped closet, from which, besides, they did not remove a cot, which was completely unnecessary for us, a tiny bathroom... In the second building there are luxury rooms comparable in quality to the rooms in the three-star Imeros, where we rested a couple of years ago. In the third, they are relatively decent, something between a closet in the first and a suite in the second. I can’t say anything about the rooms in the fourth, I didn’t see it.
Cleaning.
The closet was cleaned well, and the cleaning in the "suite" was very surprising. They never put cotton pads for the face, which were put daily in the first building. Once a cleaning lady left a bag of trash on our floor. The next day we come - the room is not cleaned at all, the garbage is still lying... At 15 o'clock, when we were resting, the cleaning lady knocked and offered to clean us, of course, we refused, preferred to rest.
Animation.
I really liked the water aerobics, water polo and volleyball. Belly dances could be cool if they were held somewhere in the pavilion, and not on stage under the scorching sun and under the curious looks of onlookers (and many of the participants, to be honest, resembled female seals and looked very comical in their attempts to portray a coward with their buttocks ). Morning gymnastics on stage and boccia left indifferent, never participated. Darts interested, but when they learned that in case of a miss, you need to sing a song or crow on stage in front of the whole hotel, interest disappeared. There was no shooting from a rifle, declared as one of the types of animation.
Evening animation.
Those who love rural weddings (or just get drunk in the evening) will also enjoy the evening shows in Belpinar. And vice versa…
Food.

Not everything is delicious, but the food is so plentiful and so varied that you can always choose something to your taste. From meat dishes, usually 1-2 from chicken, the rest are sausages, cutlets from something incomprehensible. Chicken is given strictly in doses, if you ask for more, they put it extremely reluctantly. The fish, mostly mackerel, is tasty but has a lot of bones. It happens to be small, like sprats, deep-fried, as for me, a bit dry and there are more bones than fish. Large selection of vegetables for salads and salad dressings. A lot of delicious pastries - bread, buns, bagels, cheesecakes. A lot of sweets, however, half of them are semolina, but most of them are sooo tasty. Fruits - apples, plums, melon, watermelon, grapefruits, oranges, on the "Turkish evening" there were also pears, grapes, figs. Very tasty gozleme, but there is always a queue for 40-60 minutes behind it. They have a problem with dishes - soup plates, teaspoons and dessert forks are chronically lacking, many plates with chips.
Hamam.
Were at Nurik for 25 USD. from the nose, overall not bad, but the massage could be better. But you can find it for 12-15 dollars, friends went, according to reviews, no worse than in Belpinar.
In general, they were satisfied with the rest. Delicious food, interesting animation, water slides, decent, compared to three stars, quality wine, beer and juices, two good pools, always free sunbeds on the beach, good service and staff attitude...
Now, if only our compatriots had learned to behave decently - not to take a sunbed by the pool in the morning, which they come to only after dinner, not to take food 2 times more than they eat, not to go out of line for food... But that's a completely different story …
