Hello to those who will read my review! Rested in 2010 in August in Kemer in Alatimia. The hotel is inexpensive for its category of 5 stars. Anyway, for me. The travel agency offered me at first much more expensive "fives". Then they realized that I was not going to show off and offered Alatimy on a special offer. I really liked everything and Kemer itself - just super! Didn't expect this from Turkey. I have been to Istanbul many times for work and on New Year's holidays once, and for the first time in Turkish resorts, because for many years I went to rest in Europe in the summer. This year there was no Schengen visa, I did not want to waste time and nerves to get it, I decided to quickly go to Turkey. About the hotel Alatimia, only one negative remark is the staff. I understand that there are a lot of vacationers and they are just wrapped up, but still they could be more kind with clients, after all, we are the source of their income. But these are comments, first of all, to the hotel management.
At the reception I watched almost every day (because I lived in the main building directly above the reception and passed through it all the time) people who argued about something with the administrators and even scandalized. I didn’t listen, I didn’t have time to delve into other people’s problems. I spoke to the receptionist twice, when I checked in and when I checked out. And so I didn’t need them at all, because any useful information in the city can be obtained from local travel agencies or sellers who speak Russian well.
Don't believe the bad food reviews in this hotel, I liked it. it was varied and delicious. The main thing is to arrive on time for breakfast and lunch for dinner. Then you will get everything in whatever quantity you want. I have seen many individuals standing in line ahead of me for grilled meats and picking up two or three huge plates. Naturally, the rest did not have enough. And I had to wait for the cook to fry the next batch. But this is not a claim to the hotel, but to vacationers. And this was done only by "Soviet" citizens, not foreigners from Europe. And then I saw the mountains of food left on the plates, after people left their tables without touching what they had grabbed.

The location of the hotel is convenient, everywhere in Kemer you can walk. At first I wanted to choose Beldibi and a cheaper hotel, but when I was passing through Beldibi, I realized that the place was beautiful, but very "village" and I would be bored there.
The only advice is not to go to Turkey in the summer, such a terrible heat was in the second half of August. I regretted that I did not find time in September or May, or even April, to go there. Much more pleasure would have received from walks around the city and excursions. Many excursions had to be abandoned due to high humidity and heat. But there will be an incentive to go to Turkey again in a less hot season and see Pamuk Kale and other attractions.
I never cease to be surprised by the negative reviews about the hotel and Turkey by many people who have vacationed there. They just take a heavy sin on the soul. Of course, everyone has their own subjective perception, but for 8 days I did not meet people dissatisfied with their vacation either in the hotel or in the city, everyone was just happy to be there on vacation and did not want to return home "to the harsh reality. " I think that only people "sick in soul" respond negatively, who will feel bad even in the most heavenly place, because everything inside them is bad.
Who is going to Alatimia, do not hesitate to choose this hotel. The food is normal, the rooms are normal, the location is great, the beach and most importantly the sea is a fairy tale. Believe me, I'm such a fastidious person and until this time I had always rested only in Italy, Spain and the south of France. Europe is Europe, I will not compare it with Turkey, but only good impressions remained from Kemer and Alatimiya. Well, the Turks themselves, in my opinion, are too commercially oriented people. So be careful not to get scammed in terms of prices. Although, in comparison with Southern Europe, I was calm in Turkey, there was no crime and pickpockets and other thieves and swindlers.
