We decided to extend the summer in Turkey and, on the advice of friends who had already vacationed in Turkey a dozen times in different places and times of the year, chose Kemer. We chose the hotel rather based on the photo and some good reviews, because we are skeptical about the bad ones.
Kemer is a purely resort town. There are no sights, but the choice of excursions compensates for everything. There were no problems with check-in and cleaning, help with any inconsistencies from the hotel staff. The hotel has several 3-4 storey small buildings. The room, however, was somewhat small.
The territory of the hotel is well-groomed, a lot of greenery. To a private beach 3-4 minutes walk. After 9.00 it is problematic to find a free sunbed, but there are always a lot of free places near the pool, 20 meters from the beach, on the terrace. There are also slides, a bar with snacks, and animation. The sea is amazingly warm and clean. Small pebbles are somewhat annoying, but if you buy slippers (not flip flops! ) then no inconvenience. The pool is naturally colder, but if you don’t crawl into the water, but slide down the slides, then everything is fine.

The food is monotonous, every day the same 84 dishes. From fruits - every day grapes, plums, melons, apples, oranges, less often peaches, figs and papaya. There are no juices as such, but delicious compotes - from peaches, cherries, pears, etc. There are many fruits baked in honey, with raisins, nuts or halva.
From meat - a lot of local sausages and sausages, chicken, turkey, some kind of small fish. Cutlets and kebabs are mostly fast food type. Soup and porridge are also included. Vegetables, both fresh and salted, and pickled. Lots of all kinds of cakes, creams, wonderful bread and pita bread with stuffing (they bake right there in the bushes behind the fence, a Turkish woman sits and fiddles all day, singing something under her breath). The side dishes were always rice, spaghetti, potatoes and mashed potatoes, and fries, and just baked. I won’t express my enthusiasm about the local wine, but I really liked the beer.
Excursions were ordered from a guide, although I know that on the street it is almost half the price. On the first day we visited the Turkish bath in Bebel Palace. For 25 dollars we got peeling with a mitt, soapy massage, jacuzzi, dry steam room, menthol steam room, oil massage, algae mask, tea. They didn’t get divorced for additional services, although I wanted to breathe oxygen and sit in the salt room. But that's next time.
I really liked the rafting. The guide has 60 bucks, on the street 30. It's very cool. We will definitely repeat this entertainment somewhere with us and will already go in a double kayak.
Excursion to Demre requires a separate story. Our guide Mina is just talent and charm. I did not expect such a heartfelt, meaningful, reverent story of a Muslim woman about a Christian shrine. The only thing is that they ate the first Christian church in the world when there were no Catholics or Orthodox, where St. Nicholas served as the first bishop, everything pays off, but besides this, the sunken city, and ancient tombs, and a trip on a yacht along with swimming, and wine cellar with tasting of delicious wines without sugar and alcohol.

Walked around Kemer twice. We looked at goods in stores. Of course, they didn’t find especially cheap leather, but within the framework of 300-700 dallors, you can choose interesting models. Which is what we did. I will note this company, it is called Ramses. The sellers are just masters. I have a size 58, but after looking at me, he immediately ran away and dragged the first jacket, which sat on me so much that I became like a doll. The top is leather, fur lining, double (you can turn it inside out), with stitching, no sparkles and drawstrings. Husband said immediately, take it. I still doubted, as we were going to Antalya on the last day for a sightseeing tour with a stop in large shopping centers. But they just completely disappointed me. Neither interesting models, nor the price factor attracted at all.
We bought 9 bottles of local wines - both for ourselves and as a gift. The price is from 20 to 35 dollars. And in duty free, the same thing was already 14.
We got a lot of impressions, acquaintance with Turkey took place, we will definitely come again.
Special thanks to the tour guide Mina, the receptionist of our hotel Emre, the seller Ziya - although we did not buy anything from him and feel remorse in some way.
