Advantages:

SEA(! ! ! )

Fairly polite staff

Well-groomed green area

But on this, perhaps, and EVERYTHING.

Disadvantages:

1) Wretched, antediluvian numbers (or am I so "lucky"? ; -)):

In the shower/toilet room:

- rusty holders;

- there is no shelf for bath accessories in the shower cabin;

- unwashed glass in the shower cabin;

-mirror on the edges tattered;

-no magnifying mirror

- there is no normal dressing table;

- initially faulty hair dryer, which had to be replaced;

In the room numbers:

-disgusting operation of the air conditioner (turn on, catch a cold, turn off, stuffiness);

- the handle on the mini-bar is unscrewed;

- some sockets do not work;

-there is no cover for the lamp above the mirror (if this is such a design, then it is very strange ... );

-no full-length mirror in the room;

- dirty tulle;

-lack of some items, such as: slippers, bathrobes, cotton buds, discs, etc.

2) Restaurant
-Almost all restaurant staff work without rubber gloves (including those who make fresh);

- Unwashed, sticky dishes;

- FLIES, FLIES (and again FLIES! ) in the restaurant;

- Unsuccessful location of the grill, as a result, acrid smoke obscuring the eyes of both standing in line and children playing on the playground;

-Quality of food (with the seeming variety there is nothing special)

3) A dish of fruit was brought to the DR, half of which is rotten

4) No hotel card;

5) The contingent of the hotel (there were such shots that spat on the floor in the restaurant, took the children to the "toilet" in the sea, a lot of drunk compatriots).

Review:

Rested with my son 8 years from 12.08. 2012 to 21.07. 2012.
I have been resting in Turkey for 12 years, I have been to various 5 * hotels in Kemer, Belek and Side.
I chose the hotel based on reviews, after a holiday in July 2012 at Crystal Palace Luxury Resort & SPA 5 *, in which, by the way, I really liked it. The choice fell on this hotel, due to the fact that I wanted to go to Kemer.

DEPARTURE:

Transaero company. Flight UN9149.
Departure from Domodedovo.
Departure - on time, without delay.
The food on board was “not very good”, so we took only dry rations, and then we didn’t eat almost anything from it. Recently, due to the ugly food on board, they began to eat at the airport.

TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL:

We drove to the hotel for about 1.5 hours. At first, the guide announced that our hotel would be the 7th in a row, and then arbitrarily changed the order of the hotels, and we were brought to the hotel last, that is, 10th on the list. We arrived at the hotel around 11:30.
Upon departure, the bus picked us up at 5-45, with a check-in at another hotel.

RECEPTION:

We met without any "honours" - Champagne, Turkish delight and so on. They handed the sheets of settlement and asked to fill. Then they said that they would settle in no earlier than at 14-00 and offered to walk to the snack bar and have a bite to eat. We didn’t go, but began to “irritate our eyes” so that they would quickly give a number. As a result, at 12-00-12-20 they called me and gave me the key.

ROOM:

Number 2214. Experienced a culture shock.

Really, a 3* hotel room.
The situation in the room, to put it mildly, "not very", what can I say.
A crookedly suspended mirror, dusty tulle, there is no full-length mirror in the room, a lamp hangs above the mirror, so there is no ceiling on it. I don’t know, maybe I’m behind the times, but a strange design, if so.
But about the shower must be said separately. A prehistoric mirror with a sink underneath. There is not even a dressing table where all the necessary items could be normally placed (I carry a lot of cosmetics with me, this is important for me), and there is no magnifying mirror. But such things are always available in all decent hotels.
In the shower cubicle - there are stains on poorly washed glass, antediluvian tiles, everything is shabby ...In a word, unpleasant!
There is also no shelf for toiletries in the shower. Nowhere to stick a washcloth, shampoos, etc. True, there is a flimsy shelf on the mirror, but I didn’t have enough of it.
Later it turned out that the drain was still not working in the shower cabin, water was leaking through the cracks in the cabin door, which actually caused a flood to form on the floor near the cabin.
Moreover, judging by the photo it may seem that the room does not look so terrible at all. But upon closer inspection, it's just a disgrace. The hotel management should be ashamed to offer such rooms to vacationers! Disgrace the brand of a decent network "Crystal".
During the holidays I called the technical service several times. Either the air conditioner does not work, then the hair dryer turns off after half a minute, the handle of the minibar is torn off, some sockets do not work, and so on. The impression was such that throughout the rest I did not stop solving some household issues. In general, I would like without it.
The room is very stuffy - you come from the beach, and here it is so stuffy.

I had to ask the reception for a second card from the room in order to leave it in the room, and so that the air conditioning remained on. It got easier. You could already be in the room.
The room itself is small.
We lived in building 2. The location is quite convenient - not far from civilization (both from the reception and from the restaurant).
For two with a child, we had one double bed, there was no extra bed.
In the room: no bathrobes, no slippers, there were only tubes of bath accessories (shower gel, body lotion, shampoo and hair conditioner) + shower cap, cotton pads, cotton swabs. None of this was replenished. I read in some review that tourists took what they needed from the Housekeeping trolley, and began to do the same, since the trolley was on our second floor.
Mini-bar: two bottles of fresh water 0.5 each, Pepsi, Fanta, Sprite, mineral water. It was replenished regularly, most often the guys came after 15 hours.
We sometimes asked the guys for extra water, or Pepsi. We have never been refused.
In the room you can turn on the blue backlight, my son liked to sleep with it.
Disappointed upon arrival, both in the room and in the food, we wanted to move to another hotel as soon as possible. But more on that later.

TERRITORY:

The territory of the hotel is small, compact and very green, which undoubtedly pleases the eye. In the alley there are swings, benches where you can sit down and relax. All the plants on the territory of the hotel are actively watered, so that the territory looks neat and well-groomed.

BEACH:

The beach is pebbly, not bad, but small.
We left at about 10 o'clock, sunbeds on the sea could still be found. Let not on the first line, but still possible.
But we were practically not on the Crystal Aura beach - it was too crowded for us. You don't really swim. Moreover, some individuals used the sea as a toilet for their children. Aren't you ashamed at all?
literally a couple of meters from the shore, the depth begins.

A seller of boiled corn runs along the beach - $2 an ear. The child bought from him. The only thing is that this seller has a bad habit of grabbing the cob with dirty hands after accepting the money and wrapping it in a leaf wrapper of the cob. I didn't let him do it. I took the cob in a napkin myself, with my own hands.

SEA:

The sea is clear in the morning. At about 10 am, the sea is covered with foam, debris floats. Apparently, these are plums from boats. We observed the same thing in the neighboring Amara Wing when we rested in 2011, so we were ready. After about 1-1.5, the sea becomes clean again.

POOL AND SLIDES:

They didn’t swim in the pool, because they didn’t see any point in it when there was such a wonderful sea nearby.
The son went to the slides only once, on the first day.
The slides are small, the joints, in his words, are not very even, and, as the son put it, “the slides are so-so, more suitable for kids. ” It is very slippery near the hills, be careful.

MINI CLUB:

For the first time in all our holidays, we didn’t even go to the mini-club.
Therefore, there is nothing special to tell about the Mini-club.
From what I noticed in relation to children's leisure.
The hotel has a small playground. There is no canopy on the site. And further. I don’t know who came up with the idea to place a grill near it, which smokes heavily on the site during the restaurant’s operation.
By the way, opposite the exit from the hotel on the opposite side, on the right, there is a trampoline for children. The cost is $ 3 for 15 minutes, but in fact the son rode for more than an hour.
ANIMATION, ENTERTAINMENT:

We spent almost all the time at sea, we did not participate in adult animation. Animation took place at the large pool. The music by the pool is very loud, you can hear it from the Amara beach.
We didn’t go to the evening animation, I can’t say anything. We saw at the dinner the same Brazilians who performed at the Crystal Palace in July.
Instead of animation, the son chose slot machines (7 tokens - $10). By the way, one machine (pulling out soft toys) does not work there, but regularly “eats” tokens.

NUTRITION:

I do not share the enthusiasm with those who really praise the food in this hotel.
Bought these rave reviews - and as a result was disappointed.

Although, perhaps, the reason for this is that we ended up on a Muslim fast during our rest, and before Ramadan everything was somehow very poor in matters of nutrition. But after Ramadan, it seemed to me, it got a little better. Well, maybe the reason still lies in the fact that we never came to the very beginning of breakfast / lunch / dinner, but came an hour and a half after the start.
The very first impression of the Caretta restaurant (on the day of arrival) turned out to be unpleasant. We went - stuffy, dreary.
The dishes are sticky, FLIES MAKE FRUITS AND FOOD - and this is generally COMPLETE UNSANITATION!
I walked around and did not see any super-duper variety there, as many described. Of course, you won't leave hungry. You can always find something. The question is the quality of the food itself. This is in general.
And now in particular.
Vegetables are often overripe, greens are sluggish, fruits are not of the best quality.
The son loves watermelons very much, but this one spat out and did not eat anymore. Nectarines - look only at the beginning of meals. They quickly grab it, and then the trays are filled with apples instead of nectarines. It is also ugly that tongs for fruit are not provided, only for watermelons and melons there is a spatula. In the rest of the fruits, people dig with their hands! They break the plum, swarm in the grapes, and then flies, flies ...It's disgusting! I took nectarines and plums into the room and washed everything with soap again before giving it to the child. Once a child suddenly asked for a banana - there was none.
Usually in all the hotels in which we rested, there were bananas ...
The floor in the restaurant is dirty. The cleaner, who walks with a brush and a dustpan, only brushes off crumbs on top, but the floor is NOT WASHED. Dirty.
In general, what I wanted to say ...It is not enough to make beautiful illumination of dishes in a restaurant for the entourage. It would not hurt to observe also sanitary standards.
Waiters lay out cutlery without gloves. I think I only saw one of them wearing gloves. The kitchen also works without gloves.

The grill smokes with clouds of smoke right on the line, acrid smoke obscures the eyes - and this is in the heat at 40 degrees. On the grill - one or two types of dishes. True, every day is different. During our vacation there were kebabs (semi-finished products - I do not exclude that soy), wings, liver, chicken barbecue, chicken steaks, beef, sea bream, trout. All grilled dishes are overcooked, and sometimes peppered. There are no grilled vegetables, that is, zucchini, tomatoes, and peppers that are common in normal hotels.
In addition to the grill - 5-6 types of main dishes, and not the most appetizing. You look under the lid - and there is no appetite to eat this. Salads also do not cause much appetite. I suspect they were made from leftovers.
But greens were in abundance: arugula, iceberg lettuce, chard, watercress, parsley, dill. Maybe I forgot...
For breakfast - for scrambled eggs / scrambled eggs you have to defend a decent queue. Same thing for pancakes.
Cheeses and sausages are often weathered. And the plastic covers themselves, under which the products lie, are stained, as if they had not been washed since the very foundation of the hotel.
It is not surprising that in such conditions from several people on the very first day I heard about childhood poisoning. Surprisingly, only from three people.
The dishes in the restaurant are often unwashed, all stained, sometimes sticky. To avoid poisoning, I took antibacterial wipes with me and wiped spoons, knives ....
For breakfast, the waitress Sevile MAKES ORANGE FRESH. Works WITHOUT GLOVES. It would be nice if there were no gloves at all, because there is a box on the table next to her! Why strain, the Russians and Kazakhs will swallow it anyway ...And she herself immediately writes out a receipt for payment in a stained book, and with the same hands begins to make fresh for the next person. And Sevile loves to write 2 juices instead of 1 on the receipt (be careful! See the “ADD” column)
In general, “the taste and color”, of course, but such an imaginary “variety”, offended by flies and looking so unpresentable, does not arouse my appetite.
The child took fruit out of the restaurant in his hands. Not with plates, of course - 1-2 pieces of nectarines, for example. Although officially prohibited by the hotel's complaint, no comments were received on this matter. The waiters most often "pretended to be rags", pretending not to notice anything.
In Ramadan, food has changed a little for the better.

It just so happened that during my stay at the hotel I also had a birthday : -)
The hotel and here amused.
We rested in the room at lunchtime, the guys from the room-servise knocked on the room, handed a bottle of wine (they refused, we don’t use it), a postcard and a fruit platter. Thank you, of course, for your attention to my person, but when the package of the dish was opened, half of the fruit turned out to be rotten. Here is such a congratulation on the "rotten" - both literally and figuratively; -)

CONTINGENT OF HOLIDAYERS:

Russians, Kazakhs (there were many), Dagestanis, Turks and a few Germans. For 80%, the contingent is, excuse me, a frank collective farm. I don't want to offend anyone, but I can't. I cannot say badly about all Kazakhstanis, but some allowed themselves to SPIT ON THE FLOOR in a restaurant.
The Dagestanis in the next room staged an orgy with girls and national music at 3 am for two nights in a row.
Then they were evicted, and the "German" mother and son moved in, and then we sighed calmly.
We saw in the hotel a lot of drunk "to the smashed" bydlovato-bullish compatriots.

A-LA-CARTE:

We deliberately didn't go to a la carte. I'll explain why.
First, there are no terminals for recording. That's exactly how they recorded at Crystal Palace Luxury, and you don't have to stand in any queues.
And here - the excitement, as in the good old days. The queue for the guest relation is collected even before the work of the employee starts. Once we accidentally went there at 8-30, there were already several people waiting. The girl from the queue told me that the guest relation starts at 9-00, but the registration in a la carte takes only half an hour, and if we do not have time to sign up for this half an hour, then “goodbye”!
We decided not to do such nonsense. I don't think we've lost much.

MAINTENANCE, SERVICE:

I have already written enough about the service.
But the hotel staff liked it.

The waiters are smart, they quickly remove the plates from the table, if you ask to bring drinks, they quickly run away and bring them. But my son went to the bartender himself for drinks, he liked it.
We really liked the waiters Farhat and Salim, who work at the Caretta restaurant. Very nice, helpful and polite young people.
Also an attentive guy at the issuance of beach towels, ten times a day we offered to change towels. Well, we changed.
Maid - cleaned, cleaned, changed, dusted, linen and towels changed every day. I won’t say that cleaning is 5 plus, but tolerable. A couple of times she wove swans and decorated the bed with flowers. Until 12-30 the room was always cleaned. True, I hung a sign on the door "I will ask you to clean the room" and left a tip every day.
I did not like the towels in the room - they look grayish, they do not smell of freshness and cleanliness. But the sheets were already crunchy.
The minibar was replenished regularly.
By the way, now there is one more innovation - guides for the information meeting now, in addition to the voucher, need to bring insurance in order to activate them in the database. Otherwise, the insurance will be invalid. When we rested in July - this has not happened yet.

Summary: Rest was not very satisfied. Expected more after visiting Crystal Palace Luxury (Side) in July. I would hardly recommend Crystal Aura to discerning customers, well, perhaps not very demanding people, or people who decide to visit "abroad" for the first time in their lives. The hotel has potential and it is not bad, beautiful sea, green area. It remains only to reconstruct the rooms, improve the food and eliminate the flies from the restaurant. In the meantime, the hotel does not live up to the declared 5 *.

GOOD LUCK AND GOOD REST TO ALL!
