In June 2010, once again we decided to relax with my husband on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, but the hotel was no longer chosen in Alanya, but right at the foot of huge mountains in the village of Beldibi, located between Kemer and Antalya.
It was they, the mountains, that amazed us as we approached them. It was especially breathtaking at the same time from fear, beauty and grandeur when we climbed in the bus along the mountain serpentine, which led us to the three-star hotel Endam!
Of course, like many potential tourists, he has read a lot of reviews about him. They were different. But since we chose three stars (last year we rested in the "four"), then, accordingly, we did not count on more. But, as it turned out, in vain.

In appearance, the hotel, I must say, turned out to be very personal (exactly like on the Internet). We were quickly settled into a deluxe room on the fourth floor. And, you didn't even have to pay extra for it. As a token of gratitude, they gave only a $3 tip to the guy from the reception, who helped carry our things.
In general, speaking of tips, I note: in Turkey it is considered good form and recognition of labor. It is worth giving them to the hotel staff several times with words of gratitude, the Turks are then ready to please you for the rest of the vacation. So do not be stingy: for a couple of dollars you will get both sincere smiles and a special attitude towards yourself. For example, in the form of additives and the most tidbits. After all, the parameter: "all inclusive" does not mean that the Turks should lick you.
I'll go back to the number. We were stunned here too when we stepped beyond its threshold: for three stars it turned out to be huge (30 sq. m! ). And from the loggia of about 6 sq. m, a view of the mountains opened on the right, and the sea on the left. The beauty! Admiring the sunset from the height of the fourth floor, I could not believe that it was "three stars"! Everything worked in the room: hairdryer, air conditioning, LCD TV with three Russian channels. Every day at about the same time (after dinner) the maid knocked on the door, even had to refuse cleaning, as there was no need. It's a pity that we didn't manage to try the Whirlpool bathroom, as they say, in full, to the brim, because the water in the hotel was a little warm. But in this heat, we had enough soul.
Now for the most important thing - the food! When compared with the "four", the range of dishes in Endam, of course, is inferior. BUT! I’ll write now, as if in spirit, what they fed in Endam EVERY DAY: salads seasoned with mayonnaise (I didn’t eat them, though, because there was enough fresh herbs - parsley, dill, lettuce - and vegetables - tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, various cabbages. In addition there were olives, cheese, sausages, cheeses, watermelons. . .

For the second, there are always several side dishes, the main of which are rice, potatoes, stewed eggplants, tomatoes, scrambled eggs with herbs and much more. And of course - chicken in different versions: either stewed with potatoes, then with eggplant or zucchini, or fried in pieces, they often enjoyed juicy shawarma, which was prepared right by the pool. By the way, I liked her the most! Right there, by the pool, the chefs cut up huge tuna for us, grilled them and put them on plates. Yummy - you will lick your fingers! Under draft cold beer "Efes" (by the way, excellent) - that's it. Although, booze is to everyone's taste: in the bar from 10 am to 10 pm Turkish vodka "Raki" was poured for free (it is said to be weaker than ours), gin, beer, white and red wine, natural juices from boxes, and Turkish soda such as "Fanta", "Cola" and "Sprite". In general, we had enough.
Regarding excursions from tour operators, I will say one thing: this is a "divorce" for money. For many years we have been traveling around Turkey from local travel agencies. This time it turned out to be "MAXWELL-TOUR". He also read reviews on the Internet before the trip. And they were not disappointed: we went to the water park together for $ 50, while our guide offered us a train to the same one for a hundred - twice as expensive. Here such a phrase would fit, as in an advertisement for some kind of powder: if you can’t see the difference, why pay more ?!
Oh sea! I can't keep silent about it! We didn't miss a day of it. After breakfast, we went to his salty and clean, like a tear, embrace. True, at first it was not very convenient to dive into it because of the large pebbles near the shore. But we chose this pebble deliberately, because the last time we rested on a sandy beach. Extreme small, but then got used to it!
And in conclusion, I would like to add: no matter what anyone says, the hotel one hundred percent Corresponds to its triple with a plus. There were people who consciously saw only the bad in the hotel and were looking for like-minded people. But there were few of them. And we are glad that we did not get into this list, because we brought positive things with us and received it in return. What we want for you!! !
