Recently returned from vacation (beginning of July 2009). Impressions from Turkey are only positive. Kemer is a very beautiful place. In my review I want to talk about the pros and cons of the hotel. I’ll start with the minuses: we arrived at 11-00 in the morning, so they didn’t immediately check us in (they said that the hotel was full and they would check us in at 2 o’clock) - it was terrible, then by one in the afternoon we were taken to look at the room (main building, 2nd floor) - the room turned out to be without a window, after a small scandal they changed it to a good room in the main building. There are few rooms in the hotel with a good view (I advise you to ask either the main building for rooms overlooking the mountain, or the new building (opposite) rooms for the pool). The animation was weak, but we still went to see it sometimes. The food is monotonous (but sometimes there were exceptions). The beach is not across the road (but they warn about it right away). The room does not have bathrobes, slippers, hats and shampoos alone for the entire stay. I was VERY IMPRESSED and I immediately warn you - this is a lunch box (it is ordered at the reception the day before the tour - food on the road). This is horror (the picture is attached), do not rely on it and take food with you from dinner. There were not always enough sun loungers on the beach, and there were always places near the pool. Bath in the hotel - it's better not to go there for a spa procedure - it's very expensive 40 bucks (I'll write further how best to do it). Beach towels are changed only once a day at about 4-5 o'clock at the pool. Probably all of the main disadvantages. Now the pluses: the hotel is located almost in the center of Kemer (3-4 minutes to the center) - there are cafes, shops, discos nearby (this is very convenient for young people). The rooms are well cleaned (but you need to hang a sign on the door), very friendly staff, 2 minutes to the beach, there is a cafe on the beach (free of charge), a beautiful gazebo. From the room we had a gorgeous view of the mountains and greenery. The hotel has its own Relax Garden (as it is called) - this is a swimming pool at a distance from the main ones, through orange plantations with a gorgeous view of the mountains and ice water. Cool for privacy (there are almost no children there). Very nice rooms in a new building - modern and spacious. Now tips: it’s better to go to the sea early and take a schislong, also with a restaurant - if you want to sit on the street, it’s better to come earlier, and on a Turkish night in a hotel it’s better to take a place in the afternoon. It is better to take your own alcohol - the hotel is not very good. Do not go to discos with animators (disco is 5 minutes walk, and the price is 2 times less) and do not go to Timati if he is there again - it sucks. Sometimes you can go to the beaches of other hotels (especially expensive ones - they don't have bracelets). Not far from the hotel is a beautiful park of the Crystal Hotel - with swans, a fountain (it's nice to walk in the evening) and you can swim at night on their beach (right behind the Aura disco). Now about excursions: do not take from hotel guides - 2-3 times more expensive, but everything is the same. We found the best tour company there, Saker Travel (not far from the hotel). This is a large operator - the buses are good Mercedes, good guides and decent guys work and the prices are the lowest (many operators in Kemer are outbid, they send them themselves with a shaker, and the prices are higher). It’s better to go to Antalya yourself - 4 bucks one way and take a calm walk there (a bus leaves every 5 minutes from the center (where the clock is). Visit Pamukkale - it’s worth it, but it flies by unnoticed while the guide tells (he is very good at Sakera) and Cleopatra's bath If you are a Christian - you must visit the Church of St. Nicholas - impressive. I highly recommend a trip on a yacht with Sake Travel - there is such a pleasant surprise) I will not tell. and beautiful 3 bays (Cleopatra bay is the best). When we were swimming back, dolphins followed us - super. There is no diving in Turkey (if only on sunken ships - for professionals). I highly recommend the Botanic restaurant on the Ulupinar River (first fishing (trout), then dinner). A place of stunning beauty - a mountain river, waterfalls, ducks everywhere and you yourself are literally sitting on the water. Rafting - only if you have never tried it, or if you know how to do double-seater kayak, or if you have not been to rafting in Altai. And it is also better to go to the bathhouse through Sheker - 25 bucks and a spa treatment in an expensive five-star Palmet Beach hotel. A motorcycle - you need a category A license. Otherwise, a fine of 500 bucks if you stop. Probably this is all from the main. And yet - do not buy anything in the Onyx center and the wine cellar (when you are on an excursion) - the prices are 3 times more than in Kemer stores. And about the skin - buy better in factory stores - they are traded very well. Freshly squeezed juice at the hotel. What more i can say? This hotel, of course, is not 5 stars - somewhere 3+, but if there is a cheap offer, then it's worth a trip, we overpaid for it, but still the impressions are only positive. Nice hotel opposite - Amsterdam style Orange - super. I wish you all a good holiday and I hope that my advice will help. Of course, you can’t remember and write everything, but still. The main thing is a positive attitude and then the rest will succeed!
