Stayed in this hole from 06/25/12 to 06/28/12. We traveled around the area for twenty minutes and could not find this hotel at all during the delivery. Turns out it was a boarding house, not a hotel. They were supposed to be there by voucher until 07/03/12 But in our room on the first floor, probably from old age, the old air conditioner died during operation and the wiring in the room shorted out. On our legitimate requests to repair it or solve the issue radically, by providing another number, the brain was rosined for two days. Each time promising that the issue will be resolved. As a result, we were simply confronted with the fact - either we go to their other Palmyra hotel in Chamuya, or we stay here, but the air conditioner will not be repaired for us during our stay. Moving only on the condition that we have to keep it a secret from the tour operator, as they said they had a little fight. We were forced to agree, as were other people who were brought to this hotel later, and in fact there were no rooms for them upon check-in. Moreover, during the return transfer to the airport, we had to go at the beginning to the old hotel, and from there the operator was already picking us up in full confidence that we were resting where we were settled. They didn’t take us on an excursion at all before, and in the end we didn’t get on it, since we had to be taken to it again from the old hotel. And the man an employee of the new Palmyra hotel, who was supposed to take us by agreement in the morning, simply overslept.
Many times in La vie we have heard complaints from roommates that they have no electricity or water at all. Many of them also referred to Palmyra in order to settle other newly arrived tourists in their place, since for some reason there were fewer rooms than sold tours. Some women, despite their violent protests, were settled in real catacombs in the basement, they were simply in complete shock. There was no balcony, no normal windows, only a small window. Plus, it's humid, damp and next to the rooms of the staff living in the hotel.
Feeding is disgusting and monotonous, the same thing every day, people simply lack the simplest food. Meat is completely absent from the diet. If everyone ate, the rest who came later go hungry. The next time there is almost a massacre for places and food. Everything that people haven’t eaten will be offered next time, but already in a sour form, since I suspect that it’s not even stored in the refrigerator. Together with the guests of the hotel, the staff eats at the same time, there are not enough tables. As well as forks and plates. And this is all provided that the food is positioned according to the concept of all inclusive. Beer ends before it starts, wine never ends. There is practically no cleaning, the sheets are generally dirty. It's easier to do the cleaning yourself. There were no pillowcases at check-in, and the promise to bring them later remained as such. Plumbing, to put it mildly, is on its last legs. Tiles are falling off the walls in the bathroom. There was no hot water. There were no curtains, so there was a continuous deluge around. From the balcony, the view is point-blank at the windows and balconies of the adjacent boarding house. The soundproofing of the rooms is, to put it mildly, poor. The furniture is falling apart. A tube TV was present, but I never turned it on.

The owner is greedy, hence the miserable state of the hotels. His second Palmyra hotel turned out to be a little newer, but almost everything applies to him as well.
The staff are sleepy flies here and there, which pretend that you interfere with their rest.

In a word, if you want to spoil your vacation, then you should definitely visit this boarding house / hotel La vie or the second hotel / boarding house of this owner Palmyra. The same hole, only in Chamuya and newer. By the way, Palmyra has its own beach, unlike La vie. Yes, and he really is. This is a narrow strip between the beaches of two five-star hotels 2 meters wide with six sunbeds in all!
