Hello!
Rested in 2012 from 29.07 to 11.08 in a company of 4 people in this FIVE star hotel. I hope this review will give a real idea of what the Majestic Club Kemer Beach is like or save your vacation before it's too late!
We arrived by transfer to the hotel at about 10.00 am, went to the reception, which in fact is located almost under the open sky, took shape quite quickly. We were told that the rooms were not yet ready and that we should wait until 12.30, that is, 2.5 hours. In the process of registration, bracelets were put on our hands, and here the first notes of austerity were felt - the bracelets were not made of plastic, as everywhere else, but PAPER!
At the reception located in the open air, of course, there is no air conditioning, it is +38 degrees outside, we stand rotten. As shown by an evening walk around the hotel, there is no air conditioning anywhere else except in the room.

Since we have an ultra all-inclusive system from the moment of registration, then let's go to chill in a local bar. As it turned out, all the bars of which are only 3 (three), instead of the declared 5 (five) on the website of the travel agent CORALTRAVEL, are also open-air.
Although I was in a hurry about 3 bars, because 2 of them worked from 12.00 to 18.00 and only beer was sold there, and one really was a round-the-clock one in which only two bartenders worked, and this is for a hotel of about 1000 tourists who want to eat in the heat in the summer a glass of cold cocktail. At the rush hour of the influx of people, it was somewhere from 19.00 to 23.00 to get to the bar, the average queue time was 15 minutes. Then I began to remember the communist queues for sausage. So sadly we started the first evening in Turkey.
In the following days, it was noted that since most vacationers were tired of hanging around in line for a drink for 15-20 minutes, the vast majority of vacationers stocked strong drinks in the nearest store during the day and ordered a bucket of ice in the bar in the evening to put magarych and drink in the form of lemonades , to which there was no queue crushed an open bottle of vodka, whiskey or cognac. HERE IS THE ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE SYSTEM FOR YOU! I was just shocked! All this looked like an ordinary Moscow tavern, in which there is neither music nor entertainment. In general, the bar was constantly rotten in the evening. As entertainment once a week there was a type of live music, but they set up the equipment for so long that all the people were either already drunk or dispersed around the hotel.
Now about the sea, because for this people come to Turkey in the velvet season. The entrance to the sea is terrible; this is not just a pebble, but a mixture of silty slippery boulders in between covered with pebbles. As a result, on the very first day, my wife slipped on one of these boulders and cut her leg, the only plus is not much. Since the "cripples" became more and more after a week of our stay, they began to make artificial descents into the sea from PVC bags filled with gravel. We quickly realized that it was only the 4th month of the tourist season in Turkey. But as usual, for some reason, they began to lay the bags 5 meters from the shore. In general, insanity grew stronger!

Remembering the sea, one cannot help but recall such running attributes as towels for sun loungers. Not only were all the towels dirty, burnt out and torn in places, but there were also muddied. Towels were issued strictly from 8.30 to 10.00 and taken away from 16.00 to 18.00. If you didn’t manage to take it within the specified period of time - “dosvidos”, wait for the next day! There was no such problem even in a 4-star hotel in Egypt. Everywhere towels are changed throughout the day from 8.00 to 18.00 - this is the norm!
Since my wife was injured for five days, we did not go to the sea and tried to enjoy the pool. The pool and green spaces on the territory is perhaps the only thing that I liked about this hotel. The same plume of austerity could be traced around the pool, as all the sun loungers around it were dirty, chipped or broken. Umbrellas are generally a separate song from the category of collect and repair yourself. Burnt out, torn, podiums where broken umbrellas are inserted, the latches do not work, every day returning from breakfast to the pool they tucked the umbrella latch with an ordinary toothpick. AND THIS IS FIVE STARS! Just darkness!
Meals, according to the tour operator, are round-the-clock, in fact, it turned out to be approximately the following 7.00-10.00 breakfast, 12.30-14.00 lunch, in parallel 12.00-18.00 in one of the bars hamburgers and salads and from 19.00 to 22.00 dinner, well, that's all. If you count for a day, then out of 24 hours as promised, food is provided for 9 hours a day, such a normal publicity stunt! Even in Egypt it was more impressive! There are no complaints about the quality of food, but the variety is almost zero. 95% of the food is the same every day.
As for a la carte restaurants or whatever they are called. There were 4 of them in total, but more on that later. You need to write them down the day before the moment when you want to go to dinner. All hotels have long been equipped with electronic machines, where you can go and reserve a table at any convenient time. Everywhere but not here! The procedure is as follows: the acceptance of applications is carried out by the girl strictly in the interval from 10.00 to 10.30. Remember, I already wrote above that the hotel is large and there are about 1000 tourists in it. Of course, a queue of 20-30 people formed in advance. wanting to go out to dinner at a restaurant. And again, it reminded me of the queue in Soviet times for sausage. Throughout the rest there was an impression that the hotel should have been called "USSR - as it was" - queues everywhere. Having gone to one restaurant, the next day we signed up for another in the hope of new sensations and positive emotions. But in another restaurant there were absolutely the same dishes, the difference was only in dessert, and we didn’t go to restaurants by appointment anymore.

Entertainment and evening discos is also a separate issue. There was entertainment a couple of times a week and a beach party once a week. It should be noted that every week the same thing goes on, as I understand it, based on the fact that the people change, but the circus remains! Since we went for two weeks, it is clear that the second week there was no desire to go to what you have already seen. The very content of the parties is simply no. It may seem that I am picky, but I am a very positive person in life, and when one day we were lying by the pool, young girls who had recently arrived were lying opposite us. The mother of one of the girls approached them and asked about how they went to the disco in the evening. In response, they said that everything was rotten there and they left after half an hour, which actually completely confirmed my impression.
Animation is rotten to the point of impossibility. There are only 4 animators for a huge hotel. They have an inhuman work schedule (from 9.00 am to 2.00 am) and they all go rotten. From time to time, at competitions, which are not as common as Turkish hotels, they hardly put on a smile.
At night, we naturally spent time in the room, but even here everything was not at all smooth. Entrance locks again greetings from the USSR. The doors are shattered, shabby, cracked. The antediluvian door locks are loose and stuck. In all hotels in Turkey, electronic locks with plastic keys have long been made. The rooms are very worn out, the plumbing equipment has exhausted its resource by 80%, the faucets are snotty and leaky, the toilet does not flush well, the toilet bowl is cracked, the shower door does not close. The only air conditioner (because it is nowhere else except in the room on the territory of the hotel) on the 7th day of work ordered to live for a long time, before that periodically emitting strange heartbreaking sounds like the work of a welding machine under your ear and at the same time from the ventilation channel grille sparks were shown. That night we hardly slept, it was very stuffy (at night the temperature was about 28 degrees) and scary (suddenly something shortened in this not “fresh” equipment). The next day ordered repair kondeya. Having come to the room in the evening, the air conditioner was working, but the terrible sounds that had happened before during his work became more frequent and louder. And so the second night we also did not sleep, periodically tormented by the choice: either die in stuffiness or listen to the unbearable sounds of the running air conditioner. In the morning we again went to the reception and by the evening of that day the condo began to work as expected. The question is why it was impossible to repair immediately - it is not clear!
Room cleaning is also at the level of "hello miners"! No one wipes tables, bedside tables and countertops. They just wash the floor, change the towels and take out the trash. As it turned out, when we were going home before the flight, they took away one full tube of sunblock, but we didn’t put it in the safe! In addition, the safe is really small! The room has local fauna. For several days, not paying attention to the ants, a small lizard lived with us, which in the morning met us with its smile on the ceiling, for fun they called it “Zhorik”, it was more fun, because nothing was more fun anyway.

Summing up, we can say that the hotel is just full of rubbish, the employees are working to exhaustion, it feels like the shortage of staff is about 30%. The rooms are in need of a complete refurbishment. In total, this hotel pulls only 3 (THREE) stars. The price-quality ratio is simply incomparable. I can say that for a trip to this hotel for 2 people for 13 days, we gave a little less than 100 thousand rubles. In reality, the maximum cost for this hotel should not exceed 60 thousand rubles.
I hope my review will help someone save their vacation and loved ones! After all, the locals call this hotel "ZHEST! " What a pity that we did not know this before!
