Dates of travel to the hotel: 24.08-02.09. 2011 (9 days/9 nights). Tour operator - Intourist (the package was bought in Moscow ChipTrip for 4.000 rubles for two). Transaero charter flight - there UN1349, back UN1350. There were no flight delays.

In the resort of Turkey was the first time. She chose the village of Goynuk, and not Kemer, because she strove for a relaxing holiday, fresh mountain air, sunburn and the sea. The nature there is really very beautiful. The visage hooked me with the fact that it is new, small, cute and located in a very beautiful place. Another plus is that the transfer from Antalya takes just over an hour.

Accommodation:

Arrived at the hotel around 10 am. The bus guide of Intourist accompanied only to the reception, said goodbye and left. The guys at the reception spoke English, although the entire staff of the "lobby" zone speaks good Russian. I will not dissemble, I invested $ 20 in my passport and gave me a chocolate Inspiration, asking for a room in the building farthest from the pool and overlooking the mountains.
I was very afraid of overbooking, but either the twenty played a role, or just luck. Settled immediately, issuing cards for beach towels and escorted with luggage to the room. Take the cards to the hotel spa, where you are given and changed towels (you can change at least every day, we changed 3 times during the whole trip). It is better to change them before or immediately after dinner, as sometimes there are no fresh ones left in the evening.

As already mentioned in the reviews, in the back building the even rooms overlook the mountains, the odd ones overlook the pool. 1st floor - numbering at 400.2nd - at 500.3rd - at 600. We lived on the first floor in the right wing, No. 436. The mountains, however, were not very well visible, but under the balcony grew a fluffy green palm tree and cypresses. Who wants to enjoy the views - take the 2nd or 3rd floor. Oh, and one more thing, the mountain side is shady, so the sun will not shoot through the windows and there will be no need to use the air conditioner often.
We just opened the balcony door at night, but during the day after the beach and dinner we used the air conditioner. By the way, it also works with the balcony door open.

The standard rooms are exactly like the pictures on the Visage website: 3 beds, 2 of which are side by side. The interior is somewhat ascetic, simple, but very nice. Floor-to-ceiling window, one sash opens like a sliding sliding door. The mattresses and pillows are comfortable, the bed linen and towels are new, there are hangers in the closet. Soap, shampoo and hair balm are left, there is no shower gel (bring your own). Safe in the room is paid - $ 3 per day. There are 2 plastic chairs on the balcony, a low table and a triple hanger for drying swimsuits, but it is too small for towels, we hung them on the chairs.

A day later, we left 2-3 lira in coins for the maid, there were swans from towels, shells and hearts from blankets every day, we even then left notes to each other with our wishes and words of gratitude.

The hotel area is really small, but very cozy and nice. Swimming pool (in which they have never swum) with clean water, a double water slide. By the way, the hotel owner re-tiled the pool 3 times. Probably a perfectionist))) There is a swimming pool and a small playground with a house and slides for kids and exercise equipment for adults. Such simulators are installed by city governments right on the streets in residential areas, we have seen such simulators in Istanbul.

Service:

the staff is trying very hard. This also applies to maids and bartenders and cooks and those who clean the territory. Yes, sometimes there were crumbs on the tables, but everything was quickly removed - both dirty dishes and traces of coffee / beer.
They really work, and do not succumb, although the hotel is filled to capacity. They smile sincerely, even when they collect broken dishes or plates with leftover food by the pool. If you want more smiles and goodwill from the staff - learn a couple of phrases in Turkish, it is pleasant for them too, and your self-esteem will increase. The spa girls are happy to teach you.
I can’t say anything about animation - we didn’t go, but I know that there is a disco for children, a fire show and entertainment. But young people 20-25 will be bored.

Nutrition:

We liked everything. I probably ate grilled eggplant zucchini for a year, and my son ate french fries and watermelons with melons. Very tasty pancakes for breakfast, though every other day. Chicken in several variations every day, fish every other day, side dishes and salads of any kind. Bread and rolls are always fresh and soft. And what greenery there! Both the root and the local arugula are 3 times larger than in Moscow restaurants, and are not bitter.

I put four for the fact that the meat was only on Turkish nights on Fridays, and, in my opinion, completely inedible soy cutlets, although both my son and the neighbors on the table ate. There is no sausage cutting for breakfast at all, one soy sausage shredded into strips, but there are a lot of cheeses, but they are so spicy and spicy, for an amateur. On Friday, come with your camera half an hour before dinner - the chefs prepare Turkish dishes in the street in front of the restaurant. It's really impressive. And in the restaurant there will be chic bouquets of vegetables and fruits and figuratively carved watermelons - a real skill!

Who gets tired of having dinner at the hotel restaurant, you can walk to the local "Kuleli" to the left of the arch that divides Goynuk into 2 zones - tourist and local. In Kü leli, a very tasty pide on a thin dough is an analogue of pizza, and of other gastronomic delicacies. If you go up from the arch to the local area, on the left there will be a NUR cafe with real Turkish sweets - there is very tasty baklava.
In general, in the upper Goynuk, prices for souvenirs and food are cheaper than below, although not significantly.

Tours:

we went to only one Kekova-Mirra-Demre from the Yunaya street travel agency. $50 for two for the whole day with insurance, great bus, lunch, boat trip and sightseeing. And Felix liked the guide. The prices are really 2 times lower than offered at the Eldar hotel from Intourist. Still the beetle. Very competently and deftly spread on the first day at the Ottoman hammam in Kemer for $ 30, but the pleasure of what they did with my skin redeemed all doubts. For those going to the Ottoman: prepare to pay another $8 for a full-body mud mask (warning) and $5 for orange juice (not a warning). And during the final massage, an interpreter will be called to you and they will say that all your blood vessels are clogged and all your muscles are in good shape - do not believe it! it's a divorce!
In general, it’s great there, only the in-line production spoils everything, there are a lot of visitors and hamam people somehow do it without a soul. In street travel agencies, Yunaya and Hirou offer a Hammam Tour for $15. Where they go, I don't know.

If you are athletic and energetic, you can rent a bike and go to the canyon in Goynuk. The entrance ticket costs 5 lire. They organize trips there and on quadrics. It is very beautiful there, you can swim in the lakes, but the road along the canyon itself takes about an hour in one direction at a calm pace. Local goynuks love to come there on weekends.

Sea and beaches:

to the city free beach from the hotel on foot 7-8 minutes along the main shopping street. The road can be crossed by a wooden walkway from the hotel-liner "Queen Elizabeth". The local river does not stink - it has nothing to do with sewage. But I didn't really like the beach. The hotel bus schedule will be given to you upon check-in.
My son and I left at 9:30, returned at 13:30. Travel time 5-6 minutes + walk 2 minutes through the campsite. I was not embarrassed by this tarantayka, each trip was very fun. with songs, screaming "oooooo oops" at speed bumps. I liked the hotel beach, coarse sand with small pebbles, crystal clear water (by the way, the sea temperature on the hotel beach is warmer than on the city one). There were always free sunbeds. Service on the beach - only water / Pepsi / UPI concentrates.

Look like that's it. Who needs Turkish greetings and thanks with please - write.
