This hotel was chosen amicably, because we were relaxing with company. We considered a lot of options, mostly selected by price and reviews, also asked travel agencies. We understood that it was not 5 * (a year ago we had a vacation in Egypt, Hurghada, a 5 * hotel), but some moments were quite disappointing.
We arrived late, got to the hotel at night, the administrator greeted us warmly, offered a snack, unfortunately the kind of snack was not very much and we refused. The settlement is also fun. We had 4 people, a couple and two more friends. A room with one bed was booked for the couple, but according to the administrator, there are very few such rooms and one that was free for that hour is in a semi-basement, appropriate across the wall from the Coral Travel office. Believing that there was no choice, they went there, but immediately asked to give something else the next day, promised to give another room by noon, but with two beds.
Friends were housed in another building on the 4th floor.
The room in the basement is quite cool and without air conditioning, it is difficult to talk about it. The room itself is not so scary, but the toilet did not collect water. We didn't understand that, because we really wanted to move faster, we went to the reception in the morning, there was another administrator, who knew everything and gave us the keys to see the room. The room was on the same floor as the friends, with a balcony and normal conditions, we agreed, except for another 10 bucks for help. Cleaning every day. Towels were changed once in the 8 full days we were. The bed was not changed.
In the room: TV (few channels), air conditioning worked well, we paid $ 1 per day for the safe, the phone did not work, the master came, was surprised, did something, but did not fix it. Water was given once, then collected in a restaurant or on the beach, there are coolers everywhere. On the balcony table and chairs, there is an ashtray for smokers. Also metal hangers for drying clothes.
The bathroom has a hair dryer, two small miles.
They took shampoo and gels with them, because they read that they would not be there.
Now about the hotel itself. Located almost in the center of Kemer, we walked several times to the main square with a fountain, 10 minutes walk. Literally 50m from the hotel shops begin, and groceries and speeches, as well as souvenirs and all sorts of things. There are also two local travel agencies nearby, but we did not dare to buy tours there, took from our guide, yes, we know that more expensive, but decided this way, especially since in this case we were insured. The second trip was to Mount Tahtali, which was the same price as the guide.
At the entrance to the hotel is a small lobby and immediately behind it begins a restaurant. There was always enough space, especially since there is a restaurant by the pool and upstairs above this restaurant, too, a few tables. The staff is always friendly, everything is done neatly and quickly. Took a couple of times hookah, quite immediate ($ 12 for milk).
There is table tennis, played almost daily, children's playroom. Gymnastics in the pool before lunch. Darts was once organized. There is a spa, sauna, hammam near the restaurant, we never went, although I read the reviews that they do well there. There is another pool, but we only swam in the sea. The small slide has never worked for us. In the evenings, the animators held competitions first for children, then for adults, then a disco, at 23.30 it was over. Those who wished went with the animators to the club. Foam party on the beach on Tuesdays and Fridays. The bus takes both there and back. Went once, I liked it, fun)).
Regarding food and drink. Did not starve, honestly: )) A little lacked in the morning of a side dish. There were mostly boiled eggs or fried omelets, scrambled eggs. Pile of breakfast cereals and milk. Various slices of sausage, cheese, always vegetables and greens. Baskets and several types of fillings. Butter in the form of margarine, but you can eat. Bread is always fresh.
Tea, coffee (vending machine), juices (sometimes running out). The bar constantly has beer, wine, cola, sprite, cocktails, there is a list of paid drinks that are not included in all incl. For lunch there are always puree soups, delicious, a couple of side dishes, various meats, chicken and veal, pork (often semi-finished products), almost every other day fish. Salads are different, just chopped vegetables, lots of greens. Fruits: apples, plums, watermelon, melon, nectarine, grapes, orange. On Mondays you can go to the market in the city center near the mosque (the guide will tell you), buy fruits and vegetables to your liking. Dinner is also quite hearty, the list of dishes, as well as for lunch. There is a snack from 16.00 to 17.00, we went sometimes. Grease pancakes, pancakes, just sweet products in butter, top with jam, tasty and filling, we had enough until the evening. The only downside is the long queues. They are very hot and wait for one man to recruit for a large family. Ice cream at the hotel is not very convenient from 17 to 18 hours, when most are on the beach.
