A short report about the rest in the Grand Hotel Derin. The fact that we didn’t sleep for a day (the time on the road from Kramatrsk to Kemer) made itself felt: we were already at the reception at 8.30, had breakfast (we had time) and passed out to sleep there (although some of you can’t call it sleep). Check-in at 14.00, but at 12.00 Allah "came down" to us and they gave us a room. Briefly, I will say that the number does not even pull for a triple with +. The air conditioning is semi-working, the bathroom/toilet is so-so. There are no complaints about food: everything is in bulk for every taste, you won’t be hungry for sure (we are not picky). But with alcohol there are some difficulties. Firstly, there are only two bars: supposedly a full-fledged one near the restaurant, one "mini" - in the restaurant. In the "mini" everything ends quickly and it works when the restaurant is open, and in the other you have to stand in line for 5-10 minutes to make an order. Wine (both white and red) is for everyone. What vodka, what gin, (no brandy) - everything has the same taste and strength (locally produced 20 degrees, they probably adopted the experience from the Egyptians or the "star" of the hotel does not allow. ), and the taste is disgusting. Beer is normal. The matter is that acquaintances had a rest in Turkey, and told that alcohol is stronger (as ours, "Slavonic"), than in Egypt. The staff is good, the animators in general - aerobatics. But apparently for the owner of the hotel it doesn’t matter what reviews they write, because there are no organizations in service. For 7 days, the room was cleaned once, and the towels and bedding were not changed at all. Of the 3 coffee machines, only one works in the morning, therefore, in order to drink coffee, you have to stand a kilometer-long queue in stuffiness. Wi Fi is something: in the rooms it is paid, at the reception it is free, but it is often not there. The beach is not far, 5 minutes walk, not a single gram. There is nowhere to spit on the beach at 9.00, at 18.00 you can even choose sunbeds. There is a bar on the beach for a fee. The entrance to the water without safety shoes is problematic - stones of different sizes. The hotel does not pull 4 stars, three with a minus. This analysis is based on a holiday in Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) in April 2013 at the Park Inn 4+ hotel. Conclusion (subjective): either we were not lucky with the choice, or in Turkey we need to choose hotels not lower than 5. In any case, if there is an opportunity to relax abroad next year, then we will choose Egypt. P. S. . Most of the guests with whom they had a chance to talk or hear while standing in line are also not happy with the above.
