Rested with a friend in this hotel in August 2007. It was our first trip to Turkey. We chose a hotel for a long time and eventually settled on Sunmerry, we were satisfied with the ratio of the price and the list of services offered. In the catalog of the agency, it is listed as 4 *, but on the official website of the hotel it is indicated that this status is without a license. We flew from Mariupol with the tour operator Karya Tour (the host of Ideltale travel). Our flight was successfully delayed for 9 hours, and no one bothered to notify the tourists about this. The dispatch manager swore and swore that such a misunderstanding arose for the first time and that these were just force majeure circumstances. However, having arrived in Antalya, the guide told us that they knew about the delay of our flight yesterday, but this is not surprising, since our flight is almost always postponed.
We flew at the height of the season, the Antalya airport simply does not have time to receive such a number of tourists, so regular flights fly first, then charters of normal tour operators, and last of all, some kind of unfortunate Karya Tour. Our return flight was also delayed by 9 hours. In general, for ourselves, we concluded that you need to use the services of only proven operators. Nobody provided us with compensation due to the delay, because the departure time of charter flights can be changed within 24 hours (this is allegedly indicated somewhere on the ticket).
We arrived at the hotel at 2 am, five more families were traveling with us. At the reception it turned out that there were not enough rooms for everyone, so we and two other women were offered to spend the night together. We already didn't care, but the ladies made a scandal and demanded a separate room.
As a result, we spent the night ourselves in a triple room, the guys from the reception came three times with apologies, and as compensation we had a bottle of wine, fruits and nuts in our room))).
Further rest was without incident, all our requirements were fulfilled by the staff immediately. We were satisfied with the hotel. The view from the window is amazing, the mountains seem to be reachable by hand, there is an orange grove nearby. The rooms are good, clean, the furniture is new, TV, air conditioning, the mini-bar is empty (they put their fruits, water, etc. there). Rooms are cleaned every day, towels and sheets are also changed regularly. Nothing was missing from personal belongings. Food tolerable, quite varied, 4 times a day. Of course, there were no exotics, but no one was hungry.
The beach is not far from the hotel, dirty, mostly cigarette butts thrown by vacationers. The sea is clean, the entrance to the sea is rocky, but for me personally this is not a problem. There is no toilet on the beach - this is a minus.
Of the drinks by the sea, only water and yupi. Therefore, after dinner, we always sunbathed by the pool, where there is a bar, a toilet, and other amenities)). There is a slide, which was a surprise for us, there was always a crowd of people, it was always fun)). Animation to put it mildly unobtrusive))). In the evening there is a children's disco every day, sometimes some shows, we missed the Turkish night because of the tour operator, once there was a normal disco in the hotel until 2 am. In the afternoon, water polo, volleyball, aqua aerobics was once.
Excursions were taken at the agency near the hotel, but not in Ginza, as everyone advised, but in Bond. Ginza and I went to Aura Moonlight for a foam party, so at midnight we had to fight off the Turk accompanying us and generally divided us there, we almost got to a fight, some kind of circus. In general, disco Och. I liked it, we advise everyone to rush there ! ! Were still on a walk on a yacht and rafting. I liked everything, we didn’t go shopping, we had a wonderful rest, go boldly, you won’t regret it.
