Rested alone with two children 3 and 5.5 years old. I thought that Turkey is ideal for holidays with small children, but what I saw and what I encountered was never in my practice. Before that, I preferred to relax in European countries. But since this time I was flying alone, giving a lot of money, I decided stay at Marti Mira, in Kemer.
So, I flew out of Moscow in a great mood, even though the flight was postponed for 2 hours, and then delayed for another 40 minutes. For some reason, the plane belonging to the Vim-Avia campaign did not provide hot meals, hungry and tired, we got to the hotel only at 22:00. We did not have time for dinner. No one even offered us a meal. But the guide constantly reminded us not to forget to thank everyone. : )
The room turned out to be at the end of the hotel, building 28, on the 3rd floor, without an elevator, it went out onto some pipes, apparently air conditioning systems, the hum was such that it was audible even with the door closed. Realizing this, I returned with screaming and hungry children to reception. We were offered another room in the neighboring building 27 on the 1st floor. He arranged for us, although later we found out that he was next to another hotel, with a stage. Somehow we found food and fell asleep. By the way, unsuccessful buildings: No. 8.9, 28.29 go just to these installations, not very good Nos. 17 and 16, because they go to the zoo, people complained about noise and smell. Nos. 3.4, 5 too next to the zoo. The best one is #19, it is located in the middle of the hotel, good ones are #2. 6, 10.11, 12.13, 14.15, 18.

The next day the most interesting began. It turned out that you have to get up very early in order to have time to take a sunbed on the beach, then run to the restaurant until the porridge is over. At 9 o’clock there was no more porridge. It’s good that I took oatmeal with me and it saved us all 12 days of rest. For freshly squeezed juice, I had to stand in line for 7-10 minutes, for me it was not realistic.
The same story was at lunch and dinner. Only now there were still not enough tables. And there were queues everywhere: for fish, for tortillas with cheese. 2 times a week there were evenings of national cuisine, so if you come 40 minutes after the opening of the restaurant, you could be left with nothing. Apples in the afternoon snack left for 10 minutes. From 16 to 16-10.
For 11 days of rest, only one day was really hot, the water warmed up to 28 degrees. When Istanbul flooded, we also had heavy rains, it got colder, there was no sun. Mosquitoes were with us all 11 days, Fumitoks rescued us, who was left all night, and that was how they escaped.
The rooms are old, the furniture is the same. A separate story is the telephone in the toilet, which for some reason called us in the evenings and at night. our telephone in the room did not work. The master never reached us. I had to personally disassemble the phone and leave two bare wires, which then the “good-natured” cleaning lady hung with towels every 3-4 days.
Yes, yes, exactly once every 3-4 days, so often we had room cleaning.
The hotel is positioned as a children's, but something did not notice. The club has a game labyrinth with balls and 2 small playgrounds. One with wheelchairs (until 17:30), the other just with small swings, a slide, a sandbox, a dirty trampoline, which inflated only 1 time with me. The books and games I took helped us out a lot. At the mini-disco, in the evenings, there are so many people that the children on the stage don’t even have a place to turn around, and then the adults are dancing. The animators don’t have any costumes, so what were they wearing....
Probably the only plus is the green area, on which there is a mini-zoo with geese and rabbits, and separately turtles and parrots. The territory is monitored, but the beach....gobies in huge numbers, broken glass. The beach itself and the entry into the sea are large pebbles and in some places sharp.

On the beach you can ride a catamaran, kayaks - for free, on a parachute for 35 dollars. An interesting trip on a yacht for almost the whole day from 9:15 to 16:00 with lunch on the ship.
A separate topic is the buffet. As I said, it was necessary to be in time everywhere. Plentiful, but monotonous. A huge amount of peppered and spicy dishes. On the dietary table of meat there was always only chicken. The lamb disappeared very quickly, and no new one was added.
The last straw was that 2 days before departure we were robbed and pulled out of the safe $ 500. There were other valuables, rubles, they were not taken. I discovered the loss at lunchtime, when I returned with the children from the sea for a daytime sleep at about 2 pm. We were out for 6 hours - this was our usual routine. In the morning the money was still in the room. The most interesting thing is that we did not clean up that day. I immediately reported the incident to the guides of the Tez Tour company, Mr. Teral Tü rker and Mrs. Yulia Paderina. Having written down everything from my words, the personnel manager, security service, and maids were called. They explained to me that this is not realistic and the safe cannot be opened, all of the above comrades proceeded to my room. In my presence, all the personal ones were examined, looking for where I hid the money. After that, they said that they would look at the surveillance cameras. A couple of hours later, the children and I were invited to the owner of the hotel. They explained that the cameras showed nothing.
I insisted on calling the police. The guide (Meral Turker) did not even offer to write a statement and somehow fix the theft, and was not going to protect my interests at all, and after a short negotiation with the owner, he said that in general I have no evidence that the money was in the safe, that I left them on the bedside table, probably, or lost them... on the beach. I say: -the money was neatly in the passport 5 pieces of paper for $ 100. And they again in a circle... They threatened that if I insisted on the police, then she will accuse me of slandering such a solid and respected hotel. My nerves were already on edge, the children stood on their heads. And I gave up... Leaving, I said that let it be on your conscience, but they were waiting for that. And. . . no apologies! Later, only the guest relations manager apologized, she said that she was very ashamed. I don’t know how sincere it was.

Not from one country in the world, not from one hotel, I did not run as fast as from Marty Mir in Turkey.
