The hotel was chosen this year because of the absolute proximity to the sea (which is convenient when you are relaxing with a child) and the price (it is cheaper than 5k by $40-50 per day. We chose it as the best alternative to Bulgaria and the Ukrainian Black Sea coast for the same money Previously, they were in Turkey only in 5 - it is useless to compare, the difference is too great.
Interior design with a claim - it seems so in the photo, but the execution is very cheap. patched somewhere, glued somewhere. Plus, the hotel has no luck with guests because of the affordable price - it was not uncommon to see a person in a wet swimsuit or swimming trunks on a velor sofa in the lobby : -)
The rooms are not big. part with a balcony, part without - this must be accepted, such is the layout. You can negotiate with the administrator, it's no secret how. In one of our rooms, the air conditioner was installed right in front of the bed, 1.5 meters from it, which made it impossible to use it.

it was hot all over the hotel - in the lobby, in the restaurant hall, which made the heat badly tolerated.
the food is monotonous, it's not true that they cook different dishes often. but there was always chicken and fish. other meat is rare, but we were ready for this, we know the prices for meat in Turkey. You won't be hungry for sure, it's still Turkish hospitality and AI. fruits were. There is enough food, if it were not for the shameful greed of guests who take as much as they can’t fit with all their desire, it would be better. Tasty; not all, but delicious. About food with the smell of mold and sour sauces - alas, true. you need to try it yourself - then give it to the child. I think it's because of the heat and the poor performance of air conditioners. on the first day they found that the glasses (plastic, by the way) were dirty. pointed it out. didn't see that again. Bar - only crayfish, beer, gin, white wine, young red wine (all this is low-grade), no tonic, only sprite. they won't make you a cocktail. The maximum will be diluted with UPI. we didn't drink, the quality is low.
the beach is clean. animation without features, if you have been to Turkey before, do not appreciate the efforts of the animators in the Imperial.
Staff - could be better. the waiters constantly take away the plates ahead of time, snatch them out). The bartenders sinned by pouring beer through their fingers or, for example, they began to pour white wine into a glass, then remembering that they asked for red wine, they poured red into the same glass)) funny. cleaning in the room ok - but sometimes late, sometimes there was not enough water in the minibar.
in general yes, there is something to discuss, this hotel is not ideal. But again, it's a matter of value for money. compared to what we could get for this money in Odessa - the perfect solution for Imperial in Turkey by the Mediterranean Sea.
if you plan to enjoy the hotel (design, service, food), and not the sea, and want to enjoy drinks in the hotel - you should consider other options (most likely 5 *)
