Hotel Palmet Beach Resort 5 * does not meet the declared category from the word "generally". We have never been to Turkey before, and two years ago we were vacationing in Egypt. Friends told us that the Egyptian 5k is far from the Turkish 5k. Now I doubt it : ) We are from Kyiv, arrived on 07/28/2021. for 7 nights. The transfer took us to the hotel at about 14:00, it would seem that everything was super and the vacation began! But then it all started and not that: Check-in at 17:30 after long conversations with the administration (we were not the only ones). Room with a view of the neighboring building, as well as the laundry and the local dump. The room is dirty with a bunch of imperfections and faulty plumbing, furniture, electrics, electronics.
The room turned out to be without a balcony (booked with a balcony), the door to the bathroom was offended by moisture and swollen, the front door with visual signs of damage to the lock. The lock in the window (which we still had, unlike other rooms), it did not close. Without hot water for 5 days, cold water also periodically disappeared. The safe didn't work from the beginning of the settlement and we were promised to fix it. Then they took it on the third day and never brought it (it's good that the safe was empty). The electrician was called three times. Every time after his visit, what did not work, works, and what was working, stopped working.

Details: Visit 1. Light in the room. Visit 2. TV. Visit 3. Sockets. After the 3rd visit, the floor lamps above the bed stopped working. We practically did not use them and decided not to waste our nerves anymore. Before the electrician, there was a plumber who tried to fix a leaking toilet and shower with sealant. Then this sealant stank for another three days : (. Thus, we tried, but we could not solve the communal issues for our further and our followers' stay at the hotel.
The next question is with the purchase of flowers for the wife's anniversary: ​ ​ The flowers were delivered to the room strictly on time. Flowers were bought according to the price list of the hotel for $40. The administration of the hotel did not try to return the change from $ 50 to us for all the remaining time (4 days). On the date of the anniversary, they offered to reserve a table for dinner. The table was reserved, but other tourists were sitting at it : ) We had to look for another table for about 15 minutes (we were waiting for someone to eat and leave). The same is true for sun loungers. Who is the first - he won.
Dirty tables and dishes in the restaurant and on the street. Nobody cleans the ashtrays for smokers and there are simply none on many tables. Because i smoke, sometimes i had to borrow an ashtray from another territory : ). If at this level it doesn't matter, then you can imagine the attitude of the staff towards tourists and guests.
The food is monotonous, but there is a lot of it. You had to queue for food for 15-20 minutes. Alcohol is lousy. All drinks are served in disposable plastic cups, except for coffee. Coffee is poured into paper cups and is of poor quality. Even the paid Wi-Fi in this hotel does not work well - a hoax. The sea, mountains and beach are amazing. I and we would not recommend the Palmet Beach Resort 5 * hotel, as the declared 5 for visiting and staying in it. You can get a lot of negativity and a ruined vacation for $1900 - 2 adults + 2 kids.
