Hi all! My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel in the first half of June 2011. We liked EVERYTHING very much! So, in order:
1) The hotel impressed us with its beauty!! ! He is very cozy! A lot of greenery, different beautiful places, sculptures, plants, flowers. . . Every corner of the hotel is functionally thought out, in our opinion, the zoning of the territory is done correctly. There is always a place to sit depending on mood and desire.
2) The room was clean, well maintained, with a very high quality renovation and furniture. And again I want to note the correct zoning of the room, everything is convenient. Electrics (sockets, switches) are very well located. Everything is in working order.
The shower was in working condition and there was always hot water.
The minibar is empty, and this is a plus in our opinion, since we could fill it ourselves with what we considered necessary for ourselves, or not use it at all (because water ($ 1 - 1.5 l bottle) bought in a shop on the street so cold that it did not have time to warm up before we drink it. We bought water only a couple of times, if you suddenly want to drink in the evening or at night, because it is impossible to bring drinks and food to the room from the restaurant, and this is not necessary, because the time allotted for eating is enough to eat and quench your thirst).
On the balcony there is a hanger-dryer for linen and swimwear.
The safe is paid $ 1 per day, a small minus that with a key, it would be much better if there was a digital lock. If it is possible to replace keyed safes with digital safes, this will be a huge plus for the hotel. Since I always walk around with the key to the safe and think if I will lose it... it’s a little annoying, but on vacation I want to relax so that my head doesn’t hurt for anything.
Cleaned the room daily. They laid out different figures from sheets and towels, and different every day. And we left a $1 tip each time without regret. I would like to thank you for such beauty and keeping the room clean!!!
And in general, I would like to note that all this beauty and comfort, both in the room and on the territory of the hotel, is a GREAT WORK of people who work every day so that we all have a good and pleasant rest! And for this BIG THANKS to them! They do their job with love, but not at least how! And it's noticeable!
3) The beach is pebbly, but this is Kemer !!! , so this fact could not surprise or upset us in any way, because we KNEW where we were going. . ))) the legs are prey and do not breathe, but for entering the sea and swimming they are ideal, no discomfort, only positive!
There is also an entry into the sea from the pier, where the depth is about 8 m at once, there is a path for those who like to jump into the sea.
The beach is constantly being cleaned, cleaned, and this, in our opinion, directly affects the cleanliness of the sea, another plus for the hotel. ; )
4) The sea is very clean, azure!! ! The hotel has a "blue flag" for the cleanliness of the sea. By the way, the sea in early June is what you need !! ! Fresh and slightly chilly! And even for such a thermophilic like me, it was not a bit cold!
5) The nature around is amazing!! ! Mountains and pine trees right behind the hotel! The air is great!! ! The only negative is that the sun sets behind the mountains, and, alas, you will not see the sunset. We saw only beautiful reflections on the clouds from the sun at sunset, beautiful, we liked it! But the sunset itself, unfortunately, is not. . . : (
6) We liked the food. Cooked very tasty. A wide variety of snacks, greens, and dishes! You can always choose what you like... Grilled food is generally “you will lick your fingers”... I remember and salivating... ))) The vegetables for distribution were always fresh, as if they had just been cut. Sweet no comments at all... impossible to refuse...
It was also very nice that the chefs constantly monitored the food on the buffet, which they prepared for vacationers, periodically stirred, looked at what was better sorted out and what was not... In my opinion, this speaks of their attitude to their work, as I said before, their work is done with love and wholeheartedly! This is very nice, thank you!! ! Everything was delicious!
7) Basically everyone liked the drinks, the only red wine, in our opinion, was too astringent and sour, it looks like semi-dry, we don’t like that. And the juices on tap are not very good, you can drink, but you feel that you are drinking a concentrate. And the rest is fine.
8) Animation is unobtrusive, it really pleased! Since I just wanted to relax... So that no one would pull... So it was! There is a desire to go dancing (belly dance lessons) or go in for aerobics, if not, lie down, sunbathe on a lounger. Everything according to the mood and desire of vacationers !!!
In the evening, after dinner, there is a program, first for children, then for adults. Then from 22.30 to 2.00 disco on the basement floor. The location of the disco, in our opinion, is reasonable, because. the hotel is family-run, and everything is thought out in order not to interfere with vacationers. It made me very happy! Such a nice concern!
The disco is located in a room with powerful air conditioning, a good dance floor and places to relax. I liked the music at the disco, I really wanted to dance to it!
Summing up, I can say that the hotel 100% justifies its 4 stars, and even more! Excellent value for money and quality! I myself chose this hotel based on comments and ratings, and we were not disappointed at all! The hotel staff is mostly Russian-speaking, as well as friendly and welcoming! Everything as stated! Everything is true!! ! So go to Sea Gull and see for yourself!
