They flew to rest for a week (September 24 - October 1) from the "TEZ-Tour".
To the fact that the hotel is not new, we were mentally prepared (and what else to expect for such meager money? ). I remembered a wonderful song from the good old movie about Little Red Riding Hood “but we know that this island is uninhabited” and sang to its tune every time, noticing the shortcomings of the hotel: “but we remember that the hotel is 3 stars”.
1) Check-in and room
As always, the guide meeting at the airport was attentive and polite, gave our documents to the reception and agreed that all the papers would be filled out for us. Then we just took the passports.
We were settled without any problems in the 1st building of the hotel on the first floor. The equipment in the room (air conditioning and TV) functioned without problems, the furniture is not new, but decent (. . but we remember that the hotel is 3 stars. . ).

I was not pleased with the bed linen - not snow-white, some kind of old, as in Soviet boarding houses. The towels are good though.
Plumbing does not shine (and that's putting it mildly), the ceiling in the shower room is made "bluff", there are gaps between the plastic.
But in general, we can live, we decided, and did not change the room, because we did not think that we would find a better one (. . but we remember that the hotel is 3 stars . . ))))))).
Room cleaning. For the first 2 days we thought that our room was not cleaned at all! They just take out the trash and pour the contents of the ashtray into the toilet (original, right? ).
They even complained to the representative of TEZ-Tour. And then they “caught” the cleaning and realized that they did clean it, but how! A wet brush is carried out somehow on the floor, leaving all the debris in its place.
Change of linen. As the representative of the hotel said - linen is changed every 3 days. On the 4th day of our stay at the hotel, we changed the sheet and pillowcase on one bed. Mysteriously. . .
The Tal Hotel does not provide shampoos, shower gels, etc. (. . but we remember that the hotel is 3 stars. . ) Soap - bar, not liquid. There is a hair dryer. An iron can be borrowed from the reception.
2) Territory of Tal Hotel
The hotel area is very small, but well-planned. Lots of greenery, clean.
The pool is large enough, there is a children's section. On one side of the pool there are sun loungers (there are mattresses, there are few umbrellas), on the other - the tables of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is located in the hotel building, but in fact it is difficult to call it a restaurant (. . but we remember that the hotel is 3 stars . . ).
The bar is small with a few tables around it.
Also on the territory of the hotel there is a billiard table (an hour of the game - $ 3) and table tennis (an hour of the game - $ 1). For children - 2 swings.
3) About food and drink
The hotel operates on the "ALL" system. The meal schedule is very tight - lunch and dinner are only 1 hour each, as indicated on the hotel website.

Breakfast for men who are accustomed to breakfast will seem meager: bread, boiled eggs, fresh vegetables, olives, feta cheese, cottage cheese and 2 types of sausage, one of which is impossible to eat. This diet is repeated every day.
There is enough food for lunch, but often instead of meat dishes they give some soy semi-finished products (. . but we remember that the hotel is 3 stars . . ). Dinner is similar to lunch. An afternoon snack is something floury without anything, even without forks))) You need to eat with your hands.
Watermelons were served every day for lunch and dinner. We ate them. There was nothing else from fruits, rarely - oranges.
We did not see Turkish sweets in the hotel, only some jams and marmalade.
Drinks - as always, a lot of Jupi, local cola, soda and just chilled water. In the bar beer, wine, tonic, vodka - from 10.00 to 22.00.
4) Sea, beach
It is very close to the sea, even though the hotel is located on the second line, literally 3 minutes walk. The beach is gray ugly sand and pebbles. The closer to the water, the bigger the stones. It is difficult to enter the water, but you can - just start swimming right away.
The beach itself is very dirty. It's not the hotel's own beach! This is a city beach, on which the territory is delimited and there is a sign - "Tal". By the way, exactly the same signs are all over the beach, so when choosing a hotel in this area, check 100 times whether you have your own beach or not.
The beach is dirty, there are only brothers around - the Slavs! And who will go to throw out a cigarette butt in one - the only ballot box? So the gobies are lying around the sunbeds. After all, the beach is not cleaned. More precisely, according to the official information of the representative of the "TEZ-Tour", it is cleaned once a week. I saw the "cleaning" with my own eyes - the guy runs along the road to the beach and collects large debris.
There are paid bars on the beach - beer $ 4, ice cream - $ 2.
By the way, there are few sunbeds on the beach (there are broken ones among them), and there are 10 umbrellas. There are no mattresses on the beach at all, you need to bring your own towels (. . but we remember that the hotel is 3 stars . . ).

5) Entertainment in the hotel
Music is playing in the bar))) The equipment (or discs? ) is terrible, the tracks are constantly “sticking”, everything creaks and makes noise (. . but we remember that the hotel is 3 stars . . ).
Nearby there is a disco, a lot of all sorts of cafes.
At the reception you can take backgammon or checkers.
6) Staff, service and tips
The staff is not very smart, but friendly. Tipping is not required. The bartender (the only normally working person in the hotel) refused to tip at all.
On the first day, we left a tip on the bed in the room, in the hope that they would replace the linen with a more acceptable one. The dollar was taken away, the bed was not replaced.
We were warned several times about possible theft. Of course, we left all documents and some valuables in a safe (safe at the reception, 1 USD per day). But sometimes they forgot the camera or phones in the room even at the time when the cleaning was carried out. We haven't lost anything.
The administration and 90% of the hotel staff speak only Turkish. Very convenient, isn't it? If you have any problems - play show off! Or look for one waiter who speaks Russian, or even wait for a representative of your tour operator. You won't need English at all.
7) Weather in Turkey in September (more precisely, at the end of September)
In the second half - at the end of September in Kemer, the weather is simply wonderful! Air around +30, water +25. . +28. The evenings are cool but not cold. In the pool by 10.00 am the water is already warm.
Sometimes a cool breeze blows in the morning, but it is not felt near the pool. And the beach is cold.
Unfortunately, it rains in Turkey in September. For a week 2 times. It's terrible, of course. For 10 or even 15 minutes it pours... barely perceptible mushroom rain))) So if it rains according to the forecast, don't worry, you can easily wait it out right on the beach!
8) A couple of affectionate...

I would like to say a couple of kind words about the manager of the TEZ-Tour, Tatyana, who is at the hotel. Its main task is to sell as many expensive excursions as possible. And that's all. She will listen to your complaints and will do absolutely NOTHING. Here is such an "unobtrusive" service.
In conclusion, I want to say that we had a good rest. Mainly due to the fact that they immediately tuned in to a 3 * hotel. If the Tal Hotel were clean both in the rooms and on the beach, it would be generally wonderful.
You can survive not very new furniture, but non-white linen, tablecloths with last year’s “non-washable” stains, unpolished plumbing, a dirty beach - all this creates a negative aftertaste.
The conclusion is that the price corresponds to the quality. You pay as for the Azov resort and you get an updated "Sovdepiya"!
