I read the negative reviews and am surprised. Where were you going? To the Hotel 3*!! ! So what are you waiting for???
My husband and I rested from June 24 to June 1.2011 at the Solim Inn hotel (there is also simply Solim - this is another hotel with one owner). Despite the many shortcomings of a 3 star hotel, we were satisfied and believe that the hotel is worth the money we paid. Now the facts:
Reception: almost all Turks at the reception speak Russian fluently, except for Usim, there are also Russians there. The rooms are different, there are better, worse, respectively, and the furniture there is different. Plumbing is normal, but hot water is not always available - it is heated from a solar battery and happens mostly after dinner. We liked the restaurant and the food in it very much, only very little fruit. Well, and meat. . . Meat in Turkey costs about 600 rubles per kg, respectively, in 3 * you are unlikely to see it. There has always been chicken and fish, and soy meat too. Drinking is also okay, in any case - not bad, only beer is poured into 200 gram cups))), but this is not only in this hotel and there is also a plus - you won’t get drunk quickly !! ! The territory is very small, the plants are beautiful, but were neglected. Nearby there is an orange and lemon garden. You will not find oranges there (tourists cut off), but there are a lot of lemons. The pool and children's pool are normal, the water is clean. There were always enough beds. The sea is far away - 700 meters, past the shops where there are such annoying sellers, but tourists from 5 * hotels also go along the same road, some even go further. The beach itself is small, here you can not find sunbeds during rush hour. There is no bar on the beach. The sea is very clean, but you have to walk on pebbles. The service is beyond praise, especially the waiter Amur!! ! He will always be remembered by you. A cat lives in the hotel - he bites))). The Turkish bath is paid, although it is written in the price list for free, and you will have to go to it in Solim. In general, you can use its services - the territory (it is more picturesque, by the way), the pool, but in general it is better to go to the Turkish bath in the city with a local travel agency - the Turks do the massage there, not the Russians, and the session lasts longer and cheaper. There is almost no animation, it is almost all in Solim. Once there was a live concert of a local band in Solim's bar - they play very cool!! ! Admission is free for SOLIM and SOLIM INN tourists. By the way, Solim itself is prettier in appearance, and all the activities there, and the pool and the whole territory are better, but it is older, and the rooms in it are much worse. Happy holidays to you!! ! And if you are waiting for the best - go to 5 *.
