We have just returned from Kusadasi. We have been to the city before, but we decided to spend a week of carefree rest, this time not near Antalya. We chose a five-star hotel with a good area not far from the city. At the same time, the reviews were ignored, as they were very contradictory. And here is our opinion backed by facts. First of all, the hotel's excellent location. Separated from the rest of the coast by two rocky massifs, the hotel is perceived as absolutely independent and surrounded by a pleasant frame of rocks and the sea. At the same time, it takes 10 minutes to the city center by mini bus for 2.5 lira (1 dollar = 1.8 lira). From the main building of the hotel, the territory descends in terraces to a pebble beach framed on the sides by wooden platforms with umbrellas and sun loungers. All terraces are functional. Terrace of swimming pools, terrace of children's aqua zone. Disco and light snack area. The above are obvious pluses. The disadvantages include the wretched design of the rooms (furniture, carpeting, even the quality of the towels). Although the weather was not very hot, it would be nice to enter a cool room after the beach. But that didn't happen. the air conditioner was started after 18, and its efficiency was very low. Behind the main building is a building that is intended for young people. By the time of our arrival, it was not inhabited, but young people, mostly Turkish, appeared there before leaving. The hotel is used as a transit point for tourist groups, and this lowers its status. During our stay, the main clients of the hotel were Chinese and Russians, which naturally lowers the status of the hotel even lower. The staff is quite friendly, but the service is rather difficult, since the majority do not even speak the basics of English. The size of the main restaurant (more accurately called the dining room) corresponds to the number of guests, but the buffet area is too small and you have to queue for fruit or dessert.
Definitely not a 5 star hotel. But good area. the basin zone and the proximity of the city somewhat hide the shortcomings. However, we decided that if we go to Kusadasi again, then definitely not to this hotel.
