We rested in Blue Bay with my husband at the end of June 2015, of all the five of Marmaris, this hotel was the most suitable for the price and reviews. And in reality it turned out to be very good and stylish, we liked to relax here.
We arrived early in the morning, the road from the airport takes about 2 hours (with several stops). They didn’t give me a room right away, but they put on bracelets and invited me to breakfast. Already after breakfast at 10 am we received the key to the room, very prompt check-in. At the reception there is the only Russian-speaking Turk, with him you can solve problems or questions that have arisen, a very friendly guy. Once, the lock in the bathroom broke, the handle fell out, the receptionist turned to him and after half an hour the master fixed the problem, the service was good.
The rooms are stylishly decorated but quite small. This is especially noticeable in the size of the closet, it is tiny in itself, and even almost half of it is occupied by a safe, almost all things were forced to be stored in suitcases. As they later remembered, we booked the standard without a sea view, these rooms are getting smaller, and therefore initially cheaper.

Air conditioning with troubles, will not turn on until you close the balcony door, which they forgot to warn at the reception, the problem was solved by trial and error.
From hygiene items: a bottle of gel, shampoo, shower cap, soap, slippers with the hotel logo, three towels per person.
It is very convenient that the room has a tea set (tea and coffee are replenished during cleaning), by the way, they are cleaned daily, if you do not turn on "do not disturb", we do not need such frequent cleanings, when we needed to, we turned on "tidy up" ( about once every 2-3 days).
Not a very comfortable beach. It is located right next to the pier, so the water is not always clean, especially in the evening, there are debris, algae, fuel stains. And the coast itself is fine sand, similar to dust and pebbles. The entrance is also rocky, there are many boulders and sharp holes, you need to be extremely careful. It is much better to go to Nirvana Beach in Icmeler, where the sea is completely different, clean and azure.
Did not find a bar on the beach, surprisingly. Beach towels are issued by cards in the spa, and cards are given upon check-in at the reception. Towels can be changed at least every day.
The Internet is free, you can catch it from almost anywhere. The room has an excellent signal of the native hotel Wi-Fi, by the pool it is better to connect to the Internet of a neighboring hotel, the speed is faster.
The food is by far the biggest plus of this hotel. A very large variety of dishes, both meat and side dishes, several types of soups, a lot of salads... I can’t list everything. And most importantly, everything is fresh and there is no reuse of half-eaten dishes, as the Turks often like to do. For all ten days they did not experience any ailments associated with bad products. The table of sweets and fruits is also very diverse.

We do not take excursions from a guide, because we cannot afford such waste. Before leaving, we were looking for a local agency, the Daisy Tour company came up with reviews, we booked excursions directly from home on their website, it’s very convenient. After arrival, it only remained to send an SMS with the room number, the guide chose a convenient time, met with us, gave tickets and that's all, no extra walking and body movements. We went to Dalyan and Pamukkale Ephesus for 2 days. Whoever has time, I advise you to definitely go, especially Ephesus! We are very satisfied with the guides who accompanied us, they are really professionals, and the prices are almost twice as low as in the tour operator's price list.
All entertainment and bars are about 15 minutes walk away, you can take a bus (travel 2.5 lira), but we walked along the beautiful promenade, an interesting evening promenade is absolutely not annoying.
You can go to the old center of Marmaris, there is a castle, magnificent landscapes open from it. In the center every day there is a show of singing fountains, a very beautiful sight. For shopping you can go to the big shopping center Blue Port, for groceries - in Migros, there are good prices.
Our vacation was bright and memorable, which is what we wish everyone. Have a nice holiday!
