Rested with his wife in Blue Bay Platinum from July 7 to 17.2015. Basically, what is written in the reviews for this hotel is true. The question is how to deal with it. I'll try to put everything in a simpler way. Tour operator - Pegas tourist. We didn’t have any special problems, so there are no special claims against the tour operator. The guides really do not have a native Russian language. The guides are mostly Turks who have completed Russian language courses. It annoys someone (I read it in the reviews before the trip), it didn’t bother us. You won’t get any super story about local sights, but the basic information will be conveyed to you, and unobtrusively. About half of the time you were taken from Dalaman airport to the hotel, the guide told you, joked at times (sometimes successfully), and did not bother the other half. Again, it all depends on your attitude: someone wants the guide to talk continuously for an hour and a half of the journey, and someone just wants to sleep on the bus after a sleepless night of flight. By the way, Pegasus hotel guides and tour guides are also basically the same. By the time of arrival, departure, meeting, excursions, etc. Pegasus fulfilled his obligations well. The only thing is that I posted the lists of those leaving at the end of the tour with the time of departure, flight, etc. , not in a day, as I declared, but in 8 hours, but we did not see tourists who were violently indignant about this. Flew with the airline "Northern Wind". There are no complaints here either: everything is on time, professional and friendly. “On duty” closed sandwiches as food on board this airline were transferred normally, I don’t like planes in general, so I’m indifferent to food on board. And drinks (water, cola, fanta, sprite, tea, coffee) were served 3-4 times.
Arrival. We arrived early in the morning, meeting, boarding the buses, transfer to the hotel - all without problems.
Accommodation. Placed, as expected, after 14.00. Wristbands were put on right away, things can be left in the storage room, changed in the toilet (you can change clothes in Turkish hotel toilets, unlike Russian ones), went for breakfast and began to live a full hotel life.

Rooms. Settled in a standard double, as expected. The beds turned out to be separate, but if you move them once, you will soon forget that they were originally separate. Everything in the room was as written (shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, caps, 2 towels each, rug (replaceable), kettle, tea and coffee set, hairdryer, refrigerator with 0.5 l of water per brother, everything worked The shower, however, on the ceiling is not removable, but it did not bother. The bathroom is combined, if you use it together, it will probably be cramped. The view was on the neighboring building, the left view of the children's pool with a piece of the sea in the distance, the right view of the residential building and the street a little further. We didn’t experience any problems with noises from outside, either we sleep soundly, or the noises are not very loud. The balcony is small, if you drink tea (coffee) together in the morning, there is probably not enough space. balconies, i. e. when the air conditioner is on in the next room, a “warm breeze” blows along your balcony at your feet. In addition, when the balcony is open, the air conditioner does not start, which, in general, is correct, why cool the street. Cleaned every day , probably..... A couple of times they forgot to switch the light on the room (red inscription - do not disturb, green - something like "need cleaning") then they were not cleaned. For decency, they left a dollar each (sometimes), but they didn’t notice much difference in the quality of cleaning, they cleaned well. At the same time, they replenished the coffee-tea set, changed towels, put the next 0.5 liters of water each (free of charge). The room has an electronic safe, for 10 days they gave 40 dollars to the reception, it seems to be somehow undignified for a 5-star hotel, for a couple of days the “toad” suffocated a little, but then they forgot about it and calmed down, because nothing disappeared (maybe because of the paid safe). Although they did not hear that someone was missing something in the hotel. The only thing, it would not hurt to improve the ventilation in the bathrooms: I won’t say that sometimes it “stink”, but if you want to find it, you can write it down as a disadvantage.
Nutrition. There is nothing much to write, everything is correctly written in the reviews. Solid "5 plus".
Animation. I find it difficult to assess, because they were not present. From afar it was clear that they were playing darts, waving their arms and legs in the pool, somehow entertaining the children, in the evening they were arranging something for those who stayed at the hotel. All this is on the territory of the hotel, animation was not seen on the beach.
In general, the hotel is urban and, by and large, is intended for recreation in Marmaris itself, where there are many entertainment venues, a beautiful promenade, many tourists and beautiful views of the surroundings. For those who are looking for a "lying" beach holiday, it is better to find something else.

The beach is really the weakest point and the biggest “minus” of the hotel. Firstly, go 150 meters to it. Exit to my "rear" side of the hotel. There you have to cross a narrow, but still a motor road, a wasteland and an embankment where the promenade passes. The beach strip is narrow, 15 meters, small pebbles. The beach area of the hotel is also small, we counted 5 rows of 15 sun loungers in a row, well, another 15 pieces can be stuck between those already standing. In short, no more than 100 pieces for the entire hotel, which, of course, is not enough. In general, the territory of hotels on the beach is not limited by anything: from pole to pole, sometimes a keeper tape is stretched, which breaks after a while. In early July, when we stopped in, the sunbeds were fully occupied by about 10.30 in the morning. On the last days - at 8.30 - 8.40. And from mid-July and in August, I'm afraid that even earlier. So those who like to sleep will have problems with sunbeds on the beach. The “beach” staff also caused a lot of criticism: they take sunbeds for their own or for money (drinks from the bar on the beach, which is paid). The sea is clear in the morning, by the afternoon it is stirred up by numerous swimmers. You can swim after 10.00 only “back and forth” (from the coast to the depth and back), like along the path in the pool, those who swim along the coast in the “small” will be uncomfortable, because there are a lot of people. By the way, the same problem with sun loungers near the pools, but less acute. We came from the beach at about 11.00 a sunbed could always be found near the "relax pool" (the smallest of all), although not always with an umbrella. There were still places near the children's paddling pool, but you could plunge into the pool only by going to the large pool of 20 meters.
Summing up, I can say that we were satisfied with the rest, the hotel, with all the shortcomings, is cool, I recommend visiting it. The listed shortcomings did not bother us, we, I think, adjusted well to them and, by and large, did not notice.
