My husband and I rested in the second half of June, it was hot and the water in the sea was warm enough to swim with a mask. Families with children rest in the hotel, there are very few young people. All young people are in city hotels, and Marmaris Palace is already on the outskirts of Marmaris. The hotel area is large and green, as if you live in a pine forest. We lived in the main building, a room with a sea view on the first floor, but the view is closed by pine trees, the sea is visible only through the trees, so if you want a really sea view, take a room on the upper floors. Many free entertainment on site: water slide, mini golf, table tennis, tennis, billiards, canoes and catamarans. In the evenings, there were performances with professional artists: there were acrobats, salsa dancers, a fire show and, of course, a Turkish night (though for some reason without belly dancing, more national dances). A day later there was live music at the beach bar. Disco on the beach in the beach club, where all drinks are paid.
There is enough space on the beach, you can find sunbeds even at 10 am. The animators are all English-speaking, in Russian they can only say a couple of phrases. There are many vacationers from the UK, Ireland, Holland, but there are also many Russian speakers.
Of the minuses, I will say about the cleaning of the room. It was carried out somehow, sometimes they didn’t even change the towels, although we left a tip almost every day.
