We arrived at the Dalaman airport by 8 am, about 2 o'clock we drove to the hotel, since it is the last one on the route. We arrived at the hotel at 10 am. Settled in the lobby. Checked out, put on bracelets and waited for the settlement. The hotel is small but comfortable. The receptionist is Turkish, cute, speaks English, does not understand Russian or pretends not to understand). By law, check-in is at 14:00. Toiled until 14:00. Obviously, the reception was waiting for a financial offer from us for an early check-in. And as it turned out later, it should be around 100 USD. e. per number. But we did not count on such a generous financial waste)))), so we waited until 14:00. After a fair showdown arranged by my husband, by what right we are not settled at the allotted time, at 14:25 we were nevertheless given the key to the room on the 4th floor. Of course, fatigue, hassle caused great damage to our mood (((((. And it’s a pity that this is how our acquaintance with the MAR-BAS hotel began. As it turned out later from communication with other tourists and our own observations, this vicious practice of squeezing out decent finances 20-50 $ is not enough for a good room! It's a pity..... ! Because a 3 * hotel goes too far in this regard. Moreover, I observed such an inadmissible and destructive attitude not only to Russian-speaking tourists, but also to tourists from other European countries.
Now about the good. Our room was cozy and small with everything we needed. The furniture is old but solid, a small TV with TNT and ORT. Shower. Liquid soap. Fen. Towels. Everything is simple, without frills), but enough). INTERNET is paid! The air conditioner is turned on at the time and at night)))! This is bad. And the view from the balcony is amazing! Sea, beach, bay, boats. The hotel is right on the beach! Very convenient for older people who find it difficult to move around, as the beach is very close, 20-30 m. . The pool is small, but that's not the point. The sea is nearby. The entrance to the sea is excellent, sand. The hotel's beach is very small, sun loungers and umbrellas are free. There are no beach towels. But in order to take them, you have to try. When the hotel is full of residents, there are not enough of them (. Near the beach from the bar. You can relax on it for a purchase at the bar. Or if the waiter likes you))).
As for food, GLORY TO THE CHEF! ) He really did a great job! ). - A small hardworking handsome man in a red scarf, worked tirelessly. He ran out into the hall, led the assistants, rushed around the hall like the wind). And even though there was not a large assortment and abundance of fruits, cakes, but what was, was enough!

And everything is DELICIOUS! For breakfast, good pancakes, omelettes, jams. Very tasty tea! Meat, chicken, in the evening fish, lamb, grilled beef. Amazing grilled vegetables. Salads, olives, greens, sauces, spreads on sandwiches, puree soups are awesome. Cakes, jellies, cakes! In general, no one went hungry when you came to eat. There was always something to eat. TO THE COOK AND HIS ASSISTANTS VIVAT!! ! Smart girl. )))
It's a pity that such a small food serving area in the hotel. Lined up for hot, as in canteens. But these are the minuses of a small hall in a small hotel.
The service staff is also quite: the waiters are polite, calm, patient. Bartenders within the norm))). You can’t call them generous and hospitable, but they are also especially greedy. Good wine and beer. All the rest are not numerous (drinks are very amateur)...
