The hotel is wonderful. Cozy, homely, calm.
The staff is exceptionally friendly, the receptionist is a Russian girl Christina, very convenient.
The view from the balcony is fantastic.

The first line, the hotel restaurant and the beach are separated by three meters of the promenade. Sunbeds, umbrellas, mattresses are free, there are no beach towels, you need to take your own. There are always enough places on the beach. The sea is clean. There is a parking lot of ships nearby, I was worried that there might be garbage or oil from them. Nothing like this. For all 14 days and one evening, not a single trash can or oil speck floated by. The ships leave once during the day around 10 am and return around 5 pm and are quite far from the beach, i. е. Nothing is stopping you from swimming. The entrance to the sea is normal, there is a strip of small stones from 0.5 to 1 m, but compared to Lazarevskaya, Sochi or Crimea, they simply do not exist. The water is a little cold. We sailed all over Icmeler, I can say that starting somewhere from Aqua to Fantasia, the water is really two degrees warmer, probably there are fewer springs.
The food deserves the highest praise. Experience of staying in hotels of different countries and different stars, incl. and 5* big. Eat well, especially meat, I love it very much. I can say for sure everything is great. For breakfast, no synthetic bags, everything is natural. For lunch and dinner, always natural beef, chicken, fish. Everything is delicious and always cooked differently. I absolutely breathe on fish, I ate here with pleasure. Fruits, sweets, just enough. There are no only natural juices, but this is not always the case in five stars.
Part of the restaurant is located on the terrace by the sea, the view is wonderful. In previous reviews I read that for dinner people occupy tables in almost an hour. We lay on the sea to the last every day, we left the beach for dinner at exactly 19-30, we never ate in the covered part of the restaurant, there was always a free table.
From the fact that for someone it may be a problem. The air conditioner works by the hour. Additional pay for a full day of work $ 10 per day. We did not turn on the air conditioner once, we did not need it. On the sea side, the sun is only a little in the morning, then a shade, always a light sea breeze. It will be hot on the side of the mountain. For the safe is also some kind of surcharge, we were not interested. They calmly closed the money and documents in the suitcase, everything was in place. In the evening on the sea side until 12 am every day loud music from the Liberty bar.
For young people: 8 km to Marmaris, the main entertainment there, in Icmeler, at 24-00 everything is turned off. Marbas is located on that side of the village, which is as far as possible from Marmaris. Read carefully so that later, because of this disappointment of yours, you don’t write outrageous reviews like the hotel doesn’t have a beach - it’s a pier that fed you per unit, Hakan boor, and similar, absolutely untrue, nonsense.

The supplement for sea view rooms is $100. We were warned about this by a travel agent, we paid the difference immediately when buying a ticket, this was indicated in the voucher, and we were immediately given a room with a sea view in the best possible way, without any replacements or additional payments. They settled us, by the way, instantly, within 10 minutes.

The second time I rested in Icmeler, I really like this village. Cozy, pleasant promenade. Beautiful nature, mountains around. I like that there are never waves here. A cozy bay closes the island. Last year I met people who come here to rest for years. I think now I understand them. My vacation is divided into parts, of course, in some of them I will continue to explore new places, but it is precisely to rest, I will, perhaps, be here for now. We studied the whole village in detail. We think that there are two best hotels in Icmeler: Fantasia (the beach there, of course, is the most luxurious, but it is twice as expensive) and Marbas. The pacified hum of calm, satisfied people in the evening on the terrace by the sea in the restaurant of the Mar Bas hotel will dream of me in happy dreams : ). The main indicator of a good stay in a hotel is that you want to return to this hotel. We all really wanted to return to Marbas. I hope that the quality of services will remain at the same level, and hotel prices will not rise : ).
