Rest will always be successful, the main thing is the mood.
I am writing a detailed review, because. when we went, there was not a single review. Although we are not picky tourists, the hotel did not live up to our expectations.
Settled quickly, the room is not big. In it (standard room): air conditioning, balcony (but there are rooms without it, only a window), TV (3 Russian channels), telephone, mini-bar (empty), safe (key) for a fee of $ 3 per day, hairdryer, two towels, soap accessories. There is no hot water in the morning and late in the evening, as it is heated by solar panels. They asked for a small towel on the floor (the cabin is small, it is inconvenient to dry in it, and the floor tiles are slippery), they brought it on the third day. And the second coverlet, at our request, was never brought. The next morning, we heard some tourists complaining at the reception that water was dripping from the ceiling in their bathroom. Wi-Fi is free, but it only catches in the lobby.

Room cleaning was daily, but not of high quality. Towels were changed every three days. The bed was never changed in 7 days. There is a lot of dirt on the steps between floors.
Mehtap Femeli has been undergoing restoration since 2011. Three of the four buildings have already been repaired. But this repair was carried out in haste, carelessly, many minor flaws.
In the hotel, most of the Russian-speaking tourists were married couples with small children. But the parents themselves entertained the children: there was no animation, the children's pool did not work. 4 hours a day functioned not a big slide in the main pool, so that the older children frolic at least there.
The choice of food is small. Every day there was chicken and some meatballs and meatballs, meat was given a couple of times a week. For garnish: rice, potatoes (fries or mashed potatoes) and pasta. For dessert: two types of buns and two types of sweets. From berries: only watermelon, there were no fruits. Since the peak season began, there were not enough tables for everyone, and some tourists had to wait for the tables to be free, and some ate at the bar. But here, most likely, the mentality of our (Slavic) people played. They, fearing to be late somewhere, lined up before the start of the meal and created such inconvenience for themselves. And people who came 30-40 minutes after the opening of the dining room did not find the queue, the tables were already free and the food was always served if it started to run out.

The hotel does not have its own beach. Mehtap rented it from the coastal cafe "VIP Beach", which is a 7-10 minute walk. walking step. There were about 40-45 sun loungers, and there were not enough of them for everyone. The first two rows of sunbeds to the sea (about 15 pieces) were "reserved" for visitors to this bar. Basically, the beach-boy drove Mehtap tourists from these rows. But there were also “fighting mehtaps” who quarreled with him, sent this whip-boy away and continued to sunbathe on the “reserved” deck chairs. You could go to any beach of another coastal cafe (there are a lot of them) and, having bought some kind of drink, sunbathe there. The beach itself is sandy and pebbly, but the pebbles are very small. Entry into the sea is convenient: gentle and sandy. The water was warm, without waves (Marmaris is located in the bay). Very convenient for kids. The only negative is oily "rainbow" spots on the surface of the water that are sometimes found near the shore due to yachts and motor boats moored in the bay. But, having sailed 15-20 meters from the shore, these spots were very rare.
We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel. We will not recommend to anyone. The negative about the hotel brightens up the excellent sea and Marmaris itself with many bars, clubs, cafes and shops.
