We rested with my daughter in sunny Marmaris for 8 days from July 9 to July 17.2021. We love to combine a beach holiday with an active one. We decided not to overpay for the hotel, but to visit various excursions and stay at the hotel at a minimum. Therefore, we chose the city budget hotel Myra 3 *. The hotel was chosen by themselves based on reviews from different sites. The reviews were decent. Selection criteria: close to the sea, cleanliness in the room and on the territory of the hotel, tasty, but not necessarily super varied food. In any case, I manage to gain 1-2 kg))
The hotel is small, only 70 rooms, which are located on the 2nd-3rd floors and attic (4th floor). All windows overlook the neighboring quiet green streets and the courtyard, the pool. Bright rooms, enough lighting, blinds on the windows instead of curtains, very convenient! Room cleaning is of high quality daily, bed linen is changed 2 times a week, towels are changed 3 times: 2 large, 2 small towels. 1 floor towel changed daily. The beds are comfortable, the room has a hair dryer, a paid safe, slippers, well-controlled air conditioning, which escaped from the stuffiness of the street, constantly hot water. Soap dispenser, toilet paper, shampoo and shower gel were replenished as needed. Excellent Wi-Fi in the room and in the small area of the hotel. There is also a bar on the territory (beer, wine, vodka, something else), but I can’t say anything about the quality of alcohol, a swimming pool, 1.70 cm deep, sun loungers, a swing for relaxation, an elevator, a coffee machine, with various drinks: coffee, cream coffee, espresso, cappuccino, hot chocolate, milk chocolate, espresso chocolate, milk, boiling water. There was no water in the room, they got it from the cooler. The hotel is not for families with children, there is no playground or slides. Soft music played in the bar in the evening. You can order a hookah.
The staff is friendly, many speak Russian for communication.

Breakfasts are typical for budget hotels: scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, potatoes, cheeses, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, sliced very juicy oranges, delicious bread. But no baking! For sweets - you could smear bread with honey, jam and chocolate. Juice-yupi from the machine, tea-coffee.
Lunches and dinners are varied. Every day hummus, chicken in different forms, less often meat and fish, grill once a week, soups for lunch and dinner, various salads, eggplant, mushrooms, a lot of everything, rice, pasta, french fries, watermelon, melon. I noticed that the menu is repeated: we arrived on Friday, the next Friday was the same) The food is laid by the workers. There are no snacks. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners at tables outside.
I like to meet sunrises in hotels, but, unfortunately, the sun is not very visible, it rises from behind the mountains and palm trees.
To the sea 5 minutes, but you need to cross a busy road. Nearby are Migros Blue Port and Migros jet supermarkets, various souvenir shops and shops, currency exchange. It is convenient to walk both along the promenade and along the city streets.
After the usual all inclusive, for some time they adapted to live without a refrigerator in the room and beach towels) The hotel does not have its own beach. You can come to any beach you like, order a few cocktails and lie down and sunbathe under umbrellas on sun loungers on the first line by the sea (2 cocktails about 50 lire = 5 euros = 6 dollars). We liked the beach with wide umbrellas and sun beds with mattresses near the Maris beach hotel. You can also go to the free municipal beach.
To the center of Marmaris, where the marina, fountains and the monument to Ataturk, from our hotel is 40 minutes along the promenade at a leisurely pace.
The hotel does not provide lunch boxes. If you arrive at the hotel after breakfast and fly home at night / early in the morning, for some reason you will be left without a proper breakfast on the last day (Take care of yourself in advance.
I liked the rest, I can recommend the hotel to active people, although I saw that there were also such guests who spent a lot of time by the pool).

Marmaris is protected by mountains, there is practically no wind. Pay attention to this! In mid-July it was very hot and stuffy all day and night, so even on the balcony it was impossible to sit and drink a cup of coffee.
