We were in Grand Efe in September 2010. This is the 5th time in Turkey. My rating is a good 4 *, it has everything you need for a good and relaxing holiday, plus an excellent location and the cleanest sea. A big plus - the hotel is located so that the mountains do not block the sun, you can sunbathe on the beach from morning to evening. Of course, this is not a luxury hotel, but there are no significant shortcomings that spoil the rest in this hotel. The furnishings and furnishings are not modern, but everything is very clean and hygienic. The staff tries to please, not rude. Cleaning every day, although we did not leave a tip. The food is varied and fresh, lots of fresh salads. But with fruit.... - there were no favorite peaches and figs. Watermelons are delicious, but melons are savory. There are many and varied sweets, but we gave the confectioner a solid three, because a lot of them are based on artificial cream. Animation Entertainment: I did not pay attention to the daytime, but the evening deserves attention. A day later, performances of invited ensembles or individual dancers, this is not even in all fives. The concept of the hotel is for families. The territory is small, but this does not interfere with rest. You can walk into the village. Please note that the market is not available every day. There are no large shops in the village, you should not count on many purchases there. If you need shopping, go shopping with a tour operator or go to Izmir. Kusadasi, which is 40 minutes by bus, is a beautiful clean town, but there are no large shops there. The hotel is located right at the stop, the barker at the stop will put you in the right minibus. The sea is worth special attention: very clean and just turquoise, the beach is constantly cleaned. The bottom is visible to a great depth. In early September, the air temperature is 30-35 degrees, the water is warm, you can swim for a long time. Many swim with masks. The beach consists of two parts - near in front of the hotel and to the right of the hotel. The second part - with smaller pebbles and cleaner, there is also a volleyball net. Excursions ordered from your tour operator. We went only to Ephesus and the house of St. Virgin Mary. It is a pity that we did not have time to visit Izmir and the water park. In my opinion, the excursion program on this coast is richer and less tiring in terms of travel than in Antalya. In general, I highly recommend this hotel for those who are not interested in showing off by the pool, but in quality rest! I will definitely come back to this coast again, and maybe to this hotel.
