We had a family vacation (2 adults + 1 child) in Grand Efe from 13.06. 200.14 nights. I really liked the hotel. And the food and service are top notch. They didn't leave hungry. In the morning - breakfast, between breakfast and lunch - hamburgers, pizza are prepared at the pool bar, lunch, between lunch and dinner - again, you can refresh yourself either at the bar with pizza or pancakes, or at the bar at the hotel with "charlotte" or cookies with tea, dinner . Breakfast, lunch and dinner - buffet in the hotel restaurant. Since it is a Muslim country - naturally you won’t see pork there, but fish and chicken - there will be at least, as well as all kinds of vegetables, cheeses, salads, marinades, sweet and lean buns, from fruits - watermelons, melons, greatfruits, oranges, plums, peaches. Cola, fanta, sprite, beer (TUBORG), wine (red and white), cancer (Turkish vodka), cognac (Turkish), various Turkish-made liqueurs, Turkish tea - at least get drunk throughout the day.
Non-Turkish alcoholic drinks, ice cream, Turkish coffee, frozen juice were paid (there was such an automatic machine).
The room was decent: 1 double bed, 1 single bed for a child; air conditioning; TV - 2 Russian satellite channels; bathroom with shower; fridge; safe in the room; on the balcony of the room - dryer. Either they will be in the pool, or on the playground, or with animators in the mini-club, in general, based on the fact that during our stay there, 60-70 percent of the hotel was Belarusians - our fellow countrymen, and, of course, many during this time we got to know each other and became friends - you didn't have to worry about the children - they always run around with the same children of the same "friends" under the supervision of "their own".
The sea is super, clean, transparent. The only, of course, minus the hotel is the entrance to the sea of stones, a little deeper than the knee - boulders and even some slabs. However, having passed them, the bliss of the sea absorbs all this.
For children, and for yourself, it is fashionable to buy rubber slippers and swim in the sea in them. a little uncomfortable, but it solves the problem with sea hedgehogs, which sooooooo times on these boulders and sit 2-3 pieces, as well as problems with stones, it’s not so noticeable to step on them. Slippers are better to buy outside the hotel - they are cheaper there : ))
During the day, animators hold all sorts of contests and competitions: darts, shooting from the "air", table tennis, beach volleyball, competitions in the mini-club for kids, etc. In the evening, following the results of these competitions, the winners of these competitions are awarded with alcoholic cocktails at the evening SHOW ( non-alcoholic for children-winners). After the SHOW - a disco in the basement of the hotel, we did not like it very much, but many went there too. In general, the rest is quite active and eventful, given that anyone who wants to can ride on excursions.
Here with excursions, of course, it is expensive if you are having a rest with three of us.
BUT, for the same excursion on a yacht - you can directly negotiate with the captain of the yacht, and if you recruit 10 adults (which is not difficult, since large companies are already being formed even in the first week), then $ 15 will come out on your nose. adults and children are free. Ozdere is a village not far from the hotel, it takes 20-30 minutes on foot, but in the heat to go on foot, and if you also have a child, I don’t recommend it : ) The road is along the coast and there is practically nowhere to hide from the scorching sun. It’s not worth saving here and it’s better to take a minibus back and forth, it’s still cheap, but with a breeze the mood will not disappear. In the village there are all kinds of shops, a market on Saturdays, gold, things, products. We, for example, went there only 2 times in 2 weeks. The first time for reconnaissance, the second specifically for what was needed. Basically, they bought juices, because after all, there are no juices in the hotel, there are vending machines with something diluted, like UPI.
Hotel Grand Efe I would still call family. There are many children, families come, some return and rest in it for several years in a row - I think this only speaks to the pluses of the hotel. My child (8 years old) learned to swim in 2 weeks!! ! And it was also worth it to come there and relax!
Pools: 2 "paddling pools" (knee-deep), one of which with 2 children's water slides, 1 medium pool with 2 water slides (not high, but even an adult to flop down after moving out of there is fun : ) ), and 1 the pool is deep (about 2 meters deep).
